Screening on Saturday 27th May, 2016

Event Afternoon before JAFWA Screening

JAFWA has the hall from 12:30PM to 4:30PM, where it is make our own amusement time.

Does anybody have their own game machine and games they want their fellow JAFWAites to play? JAFWA will bring out the projector and screen. I am not certain we have access to the outdoor area, but we will try to keep you off the street.

These are just a couple of suggestion. What do you want to do? Just so long as it fun, legal, ethical, and we don’t scuff the floor of the Hall.

Below is the program for the evening of Saturday May 27th, 2017.

It looks like the new Fairy Tail movie “Dragon Cry” is getting more and more popular. It is not just at the usual 3 cinemas (Luna Leederville, Hoyts Carousel and Event Innaloo), but apparently Hoyts Morley is putting on a few screenings. There were several people at JAFWA last week who had just come back from the cinema after watching this animated movie, and based on their ecstatic happiness this is a movie not to be missed.

Don’t forget that channel 34 NITV is screening a good anime movie every Friday evening. Unfortunately dubbed into English. This week’s goodness is “Summer Wars“. And as usual they do a repeat screening on Saturday afternoon.

This week we say farewell to 3 of our regular series. Don’t be too sad, as they will be replaced by new regular series in June and July. So far we have only decided on one of the replacement series, so we will have a survey during the Dinner Break where you can help us narrow down the the candidates for the new regular series to start, by numbering in order which shows you like. We will vote from the narrowed down list in June.

Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu (Re: Life in a Different World from Zero)

Being teleported to a fantasy world means you’re the chosen one, right? But how can a mere high school student hope to challenge the monstrous and magical forces of this world? After all he only gets one shot at this, right?

Tonight’s Episode:Nefarious Sloth
