Weekly Bulletin for Saturday 9th August, 2014

Screening

Below is the program for August 9th, 2014.

This week has the two anniversaries of the times when nuclear weapons were used in warfare. Let it never happen again.

Also, Madman’s commercial release of “Fairy Tail” has finally caught up with JAFWA with the release of the latest DVD collection. They started two years after JAFWA, but JAFWA was only showing at most a single episode per week, and we had a few breaks.

Do recall the weather is a tad chilly and the JAFWA heaters are not quite sufficient. Remember to rug up, and bring extra warm bodies.

Synopsis

Fairy Tail

Tonight’s Episode:Erza vs Azuma

Azuma and Erza have squared off amongst the branches of the Tenrou Tree, and although Erza’s tenacity and skill impresses Azuma enough to wish for a fair fight, he spares no mercy for her comrades. Azuma has toppled the Tenrou Tree, stripping away the magical protection it gave to the Fairy Tail Guild, and begun siphoning away power from them. All at once the members of the guild feel the loss of power, most collapsing unconscious on the spot – but not Erza. Azuma was serious when he said he wanted to fight her fair and square.

Tonight’s Episode:Mikage Gives it her All

The Ezonoo School Festival is ready to begin, but there is one person who won’t be attending. Hachiken has collapsed and the other members of the Horse Riding club are just now finding out. Nonetheless, Mikage has not forgotten the reason Hachiken pushed himself so hard for the festival, and she asks Minamikujou for help.
