Synopsis

Atom: The Beginning

This series is a prequel to Osamu Tezuka’s “Astro Boy” series, depicting the events up until the birth of Astro Boy.

This evening’s Episode: “Step on it! Maruhige Shipping”

Ummataro and Hiroshi reach Maruhige corp in search of part-time work, where they find the owner to be part-time detective Kensaku Han (whose son Shunsaku helped them last week). He agrees to give the boys the job but blindly refuses for A106. Suddenly an important moving job comes in so he hires them all out of desperation.

Little Witch Academia

Akko Kagari enrolls into Luna Nova Academy, a school for young witches, after being inspired at a young age by a witch named Shiny Chariot, and often spends her days hanging with her classmates, Lotte and Sucy. However, she has trouble paying attention in class, doesn’t know how to ride her broom, and is often looked down upon for admiring Chariot, whom many believe gives the wrong impression about witches.

This evening’s Episode: “Bee Affection”

Hearing about a party at Andrew’s mansion that Diana is attending, Akko, Lotte and Sucy don magical Cinderella dresses and sneak into the party. Just as Andrew notices them and prepares to send them out, Sucy, ever in the mood for a little mischief, sets loose a LoveLove Bee that causes whoever it stings to fall in love with the first person they see.

Udon no Kuni no Kiniro Kemari (The Golden Furball of Udon Country) (aka Poco’s Udon World)

Souta Tawara was the son of a noodle restaurant owner. Born and raised in Kagawa Prefecture (a.k.a the Udon Prefecture), he had been living an uneventful life in Tokyo as a web designer. After his father’s demise he returns home to find the restaurant having gone out of business and a young boy that he names Poco hiding there. He grows fond of him and decides to take care of him and constantly worries about what would happen to Poco once he leaves. He regrets leaving his home and his father because of his selfishness and mentions it to his big sister when she expresses her regret of being unable give their father a grandchild. His time spent with Poco often reminds him of how his father lovingly took care of him, which further adds to his regrets.

This evening’s Episode: “Tokyo Tower”

Souta only meant to return to his home town for a few days in order to deal with his father’s funeral. Then he met Poco. But now work in Tokyo has dragged him back to the big city. But Souta can’t leave young Poco all on his own, can he?

retro series – Gunsmith Cats

19-year-old Irene “Rally” Vincent, an expert combat shooter and marksman with just about every firearm in existence, as well as a brilliant driver, operates the titular “Gunsmith Cats” gun shop but also works as a bounty hunter. She is assisted in both activities by her housemate, former prostitute “Minnie” May Hopkins, an explosives expert.

Tonight’s Episode: “Neutral Zone”

Rally and May, along with Becky their underworld information dealer, investigate for ATF a gun running operation led by Jonathan Washington.

In the distant future, the discovery of the new mineral Orichalt has allowed humanity to expand beyond the Sol System. On the constant lookout for Orichalt, humanity has developed I-Machines, robots that operate in extreme environments. I-Machines function by transferring a human pilot’s consciousness into the robot’s operating system; in that sense, the human becomes the machine. While Alliance Academy student Maya Mikuri is in the middle of operating an I-Machine, she gets involved in an incident with pirates, and ends up serving as a crew member on an excavation company’s spaceship.

Tonight’s Episode: “Miguel Line”

The Excavate Company try to understand the phenomenon of Alice existing inside the Orichalt they have just excavated. Meanwhile the Marito, Federation battleship, appears looking for the Orichalt. Maya’s status as a full-fledged fugitive is likely to be confirmed.

Lupin III (series 4 from 2015)

The internationally infamous Arsène Lupin, master thief and unrepentant womanizer, continues to seek out ever more challenging heists to pull off. With him goes an eccentric band of misfits; Jigen the scruffy sharpshooter, Fujiko the femme fatal of dubious loyalty, and Goemon the stoic swordsman. And close on their heels no matter where Lupin and his gang end up, the unrelenting Inspector Zenigata. Determined to put Lupin and his cohorts in prison for the seemingly endless list burglaries and thefts they have already pulled off.

Tonight’s Episode: “0.2% Chance of Survival”

Lupin announces that he’ll manage to steal a precious diamond from the Prince of England, who is currently in Italy to pay a visit to Rebecca. However, Lupin is forced to fight for his prize against Nyx, a well trained member of the MI6 in charge of the Prince’s protection.

Souta Mizushino is a young high school student and anime fan who dreams of writing his own light novel. While looking to an anime for inspiration, the iPad he is watching it on sputters and drags him into the anime’s world, where he witness a battle between the anime’s character Selesia and a mysterious girl wearing a military uniform. After returning with Selesia, S?ta discovers that other characters from different stories and forms of media were also brought to the real world, with some of them aligned with the military uniform girl, who promised them the ways to end the strife in their worlds and a way back home, unaware of her true intentions.

Tonight’s Episode: “This Water is Coldest at the Bottom So, why don’t we have ourselves a guys’ night out?”

With news that another fictional character has appeared in this world, along with a giant mech no less, Souta and company intend to travel to meet this Rui. However, all these fictional creations appearing in the real world has been noticed, and the Special Situations Countermeasures Council sends soldiers to control the situation.

Kakurenbo (Hide and Seek)

Children know that in the dead of night, if you follow certain signs, you can visit the hidden city, where playing hide-and-seek is easy. Rumors of demons and missing kids abound, though. Hikora is a boy who joins the game with hopes of finding his missing sister, Sorincha.

Attack on Titan (Shingeki no Kyojin) season 2

The entirety of mankind lives encased within a series of fortified walls which protect them from the Titans, giant humanoid monsters who devour people, that roam the world beyond the outer wall. But now, after nearly a hundred years of relative safety, new Titans have appeared. The security of the walls is a thing of the past, and mankind may be facing extinction.

Tonight’s Episode: “Scream” (final)

With the Scouts in a losing battle as more Titans thrown by the Armored Titan surround their position, and Mikasa injured, Eren tries but fails to transform. The Smiling Titan that killed Eren’s mother is approaching, and what can Hannes and the surviving scouts do to help?

Deep in the sewers Iggy and his stand The Fool are trapped by the ice generated by the Falcon Pet Shop and its stand Divine Horus. Desperate measures are need to survive, but Iggy has yet to encounter the full determination and insane dedication of the guardian of the gate to Dio’s mansion.
