The tentative JAFWA program for Saturday 8th May 2010 is below. To be held in the Collins Street Community Center on Collins Street just off Canning Highway in South Perth.
Things of Note:
1) Slight Problem:- The Community Center is not available on the ANZAC Day long weekend. We will just have to be patriotic this weekend. In small doses it is good for you.
2) On May 1 the Doctor Who club “WestLodge” is having a screening in the afternoon, and in the evening at UWA Tavern there is the UWAnime Quiz Night. You can survive this weekend without JAFWA.
3) Carl Macek, the man who brought anime to the West in the form of RoboTech has joined the choir invisible, to put it respectfully.
4) We be thinking of the upcoming JAFWA annual elections sometime soon? Who wishes to help in the running of JAFWA?
5) Are there any artistic types who can design for JAFWA a new mascot? Nobody seems to recognise (the somewhat venerable) Misty May from Daicon 3 and 4.
