Synopsis

Preview Item: Love Live School Idol Project

Honoka Kosaka has a problem. She loves her school, but that on its own is
not enough to stop it from being shut down. What could increase the number of
applicants to her school enough to keep it open? Why, an idol program of
course! Warm up those vocal cords and start practicing those dance steps, its
time to become music stars!

Tonight’s Episode: “Make Our Dreams Come True!”

The news is enough to make Honoka pass out, her school is to be shut down.
Although she calms down once it is explained she won’t be kicked out before
graduating, the rather sad prospect of being the second last group of students
in the school, for there to be a year with no new students entering, begins to
sink in. However Honoka isn’t quite ready to just accept this outcome. If she
can show people what’s great about her school and increase the number of new
applicants, it won’t be closed. But first she needs to find what is great about
her school …

Kamisama Hajimemashita (Kamisama Kiss)

After her father runs away to escape his gambling debts and she is evicted
from their meagre apartment, Nanami Momozono finds a sudden change in her
fortune after rescuing a stranger from a dog. She is rewarded by being made the
diety of the local shrine, gaining a home, two cheerful servants and one very
snarky fox spirit.

Tonight’s Episode: “The Familiar Goes to Town”

Mizuki is bored. With Nanami too young to drink, and both her and Tomoe at
school, he has nothing to do and his ability to create first class sake is
going to waste. Onikiri and Kotetsu suggest the reason he’s been left behind is
because his knowledge of the modern world is lacking. When they turn on the TV
and Mizuki sees how much people, and Nanami as well it turns out, idolize
Kurama he decides to prove himself by becoming an even bigger star.

Fairy Tail

Magic and mayhem in the nation of Fiore. The members of the infamous
mage’s guild Fairy Tail spend their days sorting out problems for the
residents of Magnolia and battling the odd apocalyptic demon or dark guild. Of
course they don’t let little things like that get in the way of having
fun.

Tonight’s Episode: “Code ETD”

Happy and Carla have finally quelled their unease and regained their magical
powers, and now they head down from Extalia to the human kingdom of Edolas to
free their friends. Meanwhile the king and his generals are discussing their
plans. Their now convinced that Earthland mages having magical power in their
bodies, power they can siphon out for their own needs. With this news there is
disagreement with the plan to execute Lucy, but her death has been ordered by
Queen Chagot of the Exceed, and they cannot go against the wishes of the
Exceed. Besides, they don’t have the technology to extract power from a human
being. A Dragon Slayer however, that’s someone who isn’t quite human …

Hanasaku Iroha

After Ohana’s mother and boyfriend run away to escape debtors, leaving her
behind, she moves into Kissuiso, the inn run by her grandmother Sui. Here she
discovers a world very different to the one she grew up in as the learns the
ins and outs of working at an inn and comes to know the people she now lives
and works alongside.

Tonight’s Episode: “A Determined One-sided Crush”

A bright and cheerful ‘good morning!’ from Takako greets Ohana and Minko, at
a less than cheerful 4am. She has decided that the key to the success of her’s
and Enishi’s wedding weill be to strip the younger staff members of some of
their regular sleep time so that they can do the extra workload required. Minko
is sullen and grumpy but not from being woken up so early. Later Ohana gets a
call from her mother, she has received an invivtation to Enishi’s wedding. The
conversation turns towards relationships in general, and the subject of
one-sided love…

Uchyuu Kyoudai (Space Brothers)

As kids Muta and Hibito Nanba made a promise, that they would both become
astronauts. 19 years later Hibito is on the verge of fulfilling that promise
but Muta is not doing nearly so well, that is until he is accepted into the
astronaut training program.

Tonight’s Episode: “Trapped Rivals”

Falling asleep face first in a packet of crisps leads to very odd dreams for
Mutta, but the bus has now arrived at its mystery destination. The place is a
huge and windowless steel frame building. The group is led down a narrow, and
again windowless coridoor to a small room, where the JAXA official gives them
disclaimer forms and one last opportunity to back out. To help them with their
decision, they are shown video footage of the last moments of the astronauts
from the 2023 incident.

Sword Art Online

VR technology has made full-immersion video games possible, and the latest
and greatest is Sword Art Online. But the players who logged in on the first
day find that logging back out may be a lot harder, and the challenges of the
game more than they bargained for.

Tonight’s Episode: “The Girl of Morning Dew”

In the headquarters of the Knights of the Blood Oath Kirito and Asuna have
made their report on Kuradeels betrayal. Having completed this task they then
request a leave of absense from the Knights, travelling to a vacation home on
the 22nd floor.The scenery is breathtaking and the place worth the money they
spent to acquire it, but Kirito is troubled. Does their relationship exist
beyond the bounds of the virtual world they are trapped in? Asuna doesn’t like
Kirito questioning her feelings like that. When they finally get out of Sword
Art Online, she promises she will find Kirito there as well.

Girls und Panzer

The students of Ooarai Girl’s High School are showing their skill at
Sensha-do (tank martial arts). With new transfer student and former Sensha-do
practitioner Miho Nishizumi to lead the way, they will pit themselves against
the best from other schools around the country.

Tonight’s Episode: “A Fierce Battle”

The Battle with Blackforest Academy has begun and Ooarai has lost one of its
tanks already, only sheer luck prevented it from being the flag tank. Now its 7
versus 18. Ooarai breaks out smoke cannisters to help cover their escape.
Miho’s sister guesses their destination, reigns in her over-eager second in
command, and waits for them to emerge from the smoke. The Porsche Tiger should
slow them down and give Blackforest plenty of time. Then the smoke clears and
gives them quite a surprise, with towing lines attached to it, the rest of the
team has hauled the Tiger much further up the hillside than their opponents
expected. Blackforest has a real fight on its hands …

Shin Sekai Yori (From the New World)

A thousand years into the future all mankind possesses psychic powers, and
the people live in idyllic splendor. But the path that led to this tranquil
life was not so perfect, and the world that Saki and her friends live in may
not be as gentle and pleasant as it seems.

Tonight’s Episode: “Weak Link”

Saki is brought into the house of Asahina Tomiko, Satoru’s grandmother and
head of the Ethics Committee. Saki expects to be grilled about her prying into
the secrets the adults are keeping from her but instead gets quite a surprise
when Asahina explains that she wants Saki to succeed her. It seems Saki and her
friends have been watched for quite some time, but what most pleases Asahina is
how well, psychologically speaking, Saki has handled the various crises and
revelations she has encountered in her life so far. Going back as far as the
encounter with the False Minoshiro…

Shingeki no Kyojin (Attack on Titan)

The entirety of mankind lives encased within a series of fortified walls
which protect them from the Titans. giant humanoid monsters who devour people,
that roam the world beyond the outer wall. But now, after nearly a hundred
years of relative safety, new Titans have appeared.The security of the walls is
a thing of the past, and mankind may be facing extinction.

Tonight’s Episode: “A Dull Light in Despair:
Restoration of Mankind – Part 1”

Eren, Mikasa and Armin have joined the army. Now their resolve, and that of
the other new recruits, is being tested by the drill seargent. With all of them
standing on parade the seargent picks out individual recruits to insult and
abuse in front of the others. A pair of higher ranked soldiers observes this
rite of passage as they walk by the parade ground. The younger notes that some
of the recruits don’t receive the harrasment. His superior points out they’ve
already had their rite of passage, the horrors they have endured are plainly
written on their faces.

Psycho-Pass

In a future where the psychological profiling system Sybil determines your
place in society, or your removal for the good of society, new police force
recruit Akane Tsunemori finds herself facing both the challenge of catching
madmen loose in society, and of working alongside those deemed half mad
already. All the while dealing with the consequences of a society that will
lock you up or kill you for thinking bad thoughts…

Tonight’s Episode: “Nobody Knows Your Mask”

Talisman Saloon is a popular VR site. Here its administrator, Talisman,
listens to the problems of others and offers his advice. Akane, using the alias
Lemon Candy, is explaining the problems her ‘friend’ is having with one of the
people she works with. Talisman suggests Akane’s ‘friend’ has misunderstood the
character of her work colleague. Unsatisfied with the answer, Akane tries
asking another of her colleagues. This time she’s told not to try and
understand Kougami at all.
