This is our usual once a month break, to recharge our batteries, and let you dear JAFWAites enjoy/suffer through the messy organic thing called ‘Life’. Fortunately, the Japanese Film Festival will be happening this weekend, down at Event Cinemas Innaloo, so you can absorb some Japanese culture. Including two anime movies, one on Saturday at 6PM, the other Sunday at 2:15PM.
JAFWA will be doing a fund-raising Bunnings BBQ on Saturday December 7th, in East Vic Park. Would anyone like to help volunteer?
On December 14th we will have our end of year marathon screening, before we take a break until January, and your Suggestions are welcome. The JAFWA committee has already scheduled room for “Akira”, and we have received a request for the movie “Millenium Actress”, as well as the “Girls und Panzer” movie, and something “Gundam”. Any other requests/suggestions?
Be aware, we also intend to run an auction on behalf of our members. Tell us what you want us to auction of yours, preferably well in advance, so we can schedule enough time into the program, as well as inform people so that they can bring plenty of money to bid. Already, a couple of expensive Attack on Titan figures have been offered, and more items to be announced.
