There will be no JAFWA screening on May 7^th.
Don’t forget, this is a chance to experience that experience called “Life”, before return to JAFWA on May 14^th. Or you could see Studio Ghibli’s “Only Yesterday” at the cinemas.

This week is one of the great holiday times in Japan – Golden Week.

We have a bit of a conunfrum. So few people voted in the Bean Poll as to whether to continue screening the retro show “Here is Greenwood”. 6 votes for Yes, 7 votes for “No”. What do we do?

Dates of Interest

• Saturday May 5^th for a Limited season – Studio Ghibli’s “Only Yesterday” at the cinemas.
• Saturday June 18^th – JAFWA’s next Event afternoon, of make your own fun. Possibly last chance to prepare for SupaNova.
• Friday June 24^rd to Sunday 26^th – JAFWA week off, for Supanova Perth Convention & Exhibition Centre.
• a Saturday in July (to be determined) – JAFWA’s AGM in the afternoon, with the Elections during the Dinner Break. All signed up members please consider attending when the date is finalised. Also, who wants to be a Committee member with all that power and privilege?
• September 3^rd to 4^th – Evolve 2016 Pop Culture Expo HBF Stadium in Mount Claremont, Western Australia.
