Year End Break week 1 – Saturday 19th December, 2014

Screening

Regular JAFWA will resume on Saturday January 9th, 2016.

This is the Holiday Season and JAFWA bows to the social convention. Plus last week’s marathon session may have caused a bit of a burn out amongst attendees. Hopefully so much good, retro anime will keep everyone going over the next month. Or is that just all the cake we consumed?

Next year we start a whole lot of new regular series , though we continue some favourites like “Fairy Tail”, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure”, “Fate/Stay Night” and “Shirobako”.

Included in the 2016 lineup will be a timeslot devoted to an old, retro series that deserves to shown again to a new generation. We will screen 3 or 4 episodes of this retro series, then hold a bean poll on the audience to determine if we continue the series or try another golden oldy.
But what shall we show first? We thought our dear JAFWAites might suggest one of last week’s shows that grabbed their attention, but no. The first suggestion is a show that we regretfully didn’t have time to include last week – “Bastard!!”.

If you have any other Suggestions, add them to the JAFWA Facebook page please.
I myself am partial to “Video Girl Ai”. Or “Tenchi Muyou”. Or “El Hazard”. Or “Please Save my Earth”. Or “Koko wa Greenwood”. Once I get started, it is difficult to stop.
Though “Bastard!!” really appeals as well.
