Synopsis

Fairy Tail

Magic and mayhem in the nation of Fiore. The members of the infamous mage’s guild Fairy Tail spend their days sorting out problems for the residents of Magnolia and battling the odd apocalyptic demon or dark guild. Of course they don’t let little things like that get in the way of having fun.

Tonight’s Episode:Chariot

Finishing last and second last after the first day’s events of the Grand Magic Games is reason enough to celebrate, or perhaps just drown your sorrows, for Fairy Tail. Both losses in the one on one battles were due to outside interference; for Jellal/Mystogan it was his guild-members making sure he didn’t blow his cover before investigating the arena and the dark magic he sensed from it in previous years. For Lucy, it was Raven Tail’s cheating… which is why she and Grey, the other Fairy Tail guild member undone by their antics, aren’t at the pub.

Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun (Monthly Girl’s Nozaki-kun)

High school student Sakura Chiyo has a serious crush on her tall, stoic schoolmate Nozaki Umetarou. But when she finally plucks up the courage to tell him she always wants to be with him, she finds herself employed as his assistant. Turns out Nozaki is a shoujo manga artist, and by working alongside him Sakura gets to see her high school crush in action … and see the not-so-perfect inspiration for his stories.

Tonight’s Episode:Let’s Rice

A typical day of work on Nozaki’s manga gives Sakura a chance to learn a bit more about the relationship between Nozaki and his editor Ken, how they first started working together and what Ken first did that won him so much admiration from Nozaki (aside from not being his insufferable old editor Maeno).

Preview – Yoru no Yatterman (Yatterman of the Night)

The Yatterman were the heroes, the Yatterman saved the world. The Yattermen made a wondrous place for people the live; the Yatter Kingdom. So why keep Leopard and her friends out just because of their ancestor’s crimes? Why do they no longer help those who are in need? Any why, when Leopard decides to force her way in to teach them a lesson, is the kingdom nothing like the stories? Who are the real heroes now?

Tonight’s Episodes:The World is Pitch Black

A pleasant and uneventful New Year’s Day in Japan, until the first of a vast swarm of comets, strikes the peak of Mount Fuji. And in fire and wrath, everything ends… Or perhaps not. In a simple graveyard, with the lights of a city in the distance, a pregnant woman wishes that her child will get to live happily in the Yatter Kingdom. Little Leopard grows up a cheerful and rambunctious child, raised on tales of the heroic Yatterman and their victory over the villainous trio Doronbo …

Log Horizon season 2

Life continues for Shiroe and the others trapped within the world of Elder Tale. The city of Akihabara is now prosperous and thriving thanks to the efforts and innovations of the adventurers. But prosperity does not guarantee safety, Shiroe’s skills have already been tested against the nefarious Nureha and her guild Plant Hwyaden, and now he must find a way to secure Akihabara’s future against those who would seek to claim it for themselves.

Tonight’s Episode:Guild Master

After finding themselves in a seemingly unwinnable battle, three raid bosses all at once, Shiroe experiences death for the first time. He is forced to confront his inability to fully trust others, but he comes out of the experience ready to confront his flaws. However, the battle in which he died was a total party wipe-out, and the members of the Silver Sword guild are now doubting that this raid can be beaten at all. Their Guild Master, William Massachusetts, must now find the words to rebuild their confidence.

D-Frag!

Kazama Kenji goal in life was simple; become a famous and feared delinquent. Instead he finds himself mixed up with his school’s struggling Game Development club and its various … eccentric … members. Yet the harder he tries to get away from them, the more he finds himself running into the other crazies in his school.

Tonight’s Episode:That Means We’re in a Love Triangle!

The Battle with the 14 Devils upgraded Ken’s status from unknown delinquent … to Chitose’s lackey. And Chitose revealing his little sister makes his lunch dragged it back down again. He’s also attending class, very un-delinquent like, but Mr Konekone is an exception. He saved Ken and his buddies from a burning building when they were kids, not even a delinquent would insult such an awesome teacher by skipping class. But now that his class is over, there’s no reason for Ken to stick around … except for a terrified Roka begging for protection from her ‘enemy’.

Noragami (Stray God)

Hiyori Iki is introduced to the world of spirits and deities after her first encounter with Yato, a homeless war god, results in a near death experience. Now Hiyori needs the ambitious Yato to help stop her soul from disconnecting from her body, but a god who doesn’t even have a shrine, let alone worshippers, doesn’t really inspire much confidence.

Tonight’s Episode:Name

Whilst Yato managed to help the bullied kid at Hiyori’s school, the environment is the last straw for Yuki. Seeing everything he lost when he died and became Yato’s Regalia sends him into a destructive rampage across the school. It is also the last straw for Yato, as the corruption Yuki’s negative thoughts have caused finally overcomes him. Hiyori brings Yuki and the now unconscious, and infectious, Yato to Kofuku for help … only to have a barrier thrown up in front of them.

Sword Art Online 2

It has been a year since the victims of Alfheim Online were freed from their virtual prison, and more than a year since Sword Art Online was shut down. But now it has begun once again. A mysterious figure has been making appearances in the game Gun Gale Online, and other players drop dead in their wake. Kirito finds himself once again risking his life in the online world.

Tonight’s Episode:Queen of the Lake

Shinkawa and his brother are now behind bars, the Death Gun incident is finally over and Kirito can return to Alfheim online. Which is good timing since the legendary sword Excalibur has now been spotted by other players in the game. Kirito and his sister discovered it some months ago and he had always planned to come back to it at some point. Now that other players know it is there for the taking, the race is on to be the one that claims the legendary sword.

Akame ga Kill

Tatsumi was hoping to find enough money in the capital to save his poverty stricken village, what he found instead was corruption and slaughter. The prime minister is the power behind the throne, manipulating the infant emperor for his own gain, and the common folk of the empire suffer under his reign. A group of assassins known as Night Raid prowl the city, leaving a trail of corpses in their wake. But as Tatsumi quickly discovers, they may be the only hope the empire has.

Tonight’s Episode:Kill the Authority

Despite his heart-wrenching introduction to the darker side of life in the capital and the loss of his friends from the village, Tatsumi still isn’t completely sold on the idea of joining the rather eccentric Night Raid. Still, he has been brought to their hideout (which limits his options), so Leone introduces him to the rest of the group.

Psycho-Pass 2

Makishima Shougo is dead, and Akane Tsunemori still works for Public Security. With a new junior inspector and two new Enforcers she struggles to protect the public from the latent criminals in their midst, whilst hiding from them the horrible truth of the Sybil System. But a new menace walks the streets, a new threat that once again cannot be judged by Sybil. And this time they’re not just a lone psychopath, this time they’re recruiting.

Tonight’s Episode:What Colour?” Finale

Kamui’s purpose in hijacking and terrorizing so many people was to overload Sybil with judgements so he could pinpoint its location. Sybil meanwhile tries to kill them all with explosives, and tries to get Akane to push the button by revealing what happened to her grandmother (but not who actually did it). Akane, however, is no one’s fool. She knows all about Enforcer Tougane, and his mother. Instead, she’s going to bring Kamui to Sybil so that it can be judged. The system will be forced to evolve.

Danganronpa

Hope’s Peak Private Academy is a famous boarding school, known as a place for students who are the best in their field. When the unremarkable Makoto Naegi wins a lottery to enter the school he and fourteen other new students find the horrible truth hidden within; Hope’s Peak is a prison, and the only way out is to kill one of the other inmates without getting caught.

Tonight’s Episode:The Junk Food of Despair for Racing Through Youth

For the first time, a death in Hope’s Peak Academy was not a murder. Oghami Sakura took her own life in order to allay the suspicion and mistrust that arose from learning she was the mastermind’s agent amongst the students. Deprived of a student to execute, Monobear instead gets his amusement by revealing he has found the laptop with Alter Ego, and destroying that instead. But Kirigiri’s solo investigations have turned up another bombshell. There is a sixteenth student somewhere in the school with them; Ikusuba Mukuro, the Super Duper High School Student of Despair.
