Synopsis

Gin no Saji, Season Two (Silver Spoon), Season Two

Life continues at Ooeno Agricultural School for city boy Hachiken. As the current crop of seniors prepare to move into the work force, more club responsibilities are passed on to the younger students. But in the midst of all the club activities, delicious food and good friends, Hachiken discovers that slaughtering animals might not be the only troubling aspect of farm life.

Tonight’s Episode:Komaba Stands on the Pitcher’s Mound

The festival went well, the Ban’ei races were fun for everyone except the now cheese-less Mr Nakajima, and Hachiken has been discharged from hospital. As they prepare for bed Komaba expresses concern for Hachiken’s health, telling him to ask for help next time he needs it. However Komaba himself won’t be available to help for a while as the baseball club is off to Sapporo for the championship playoffs. As he tries to get to sleep, Hachiken reflects on his father’s harsh words about Ezonoo and the advice the principal gave him a while back.

Soul Eater Not!

DWMA (Death Weapon Meister Academy) is the place to go if you find that you are able the change into a weapon and need to master your newfound ability. Which is how Harudori Tsugumi finds herself in the United States, as part of the new class of students at the academy. Here she will learn to control her power and team up with one of the meisters (Students training to wield Death Weapons). However, she can’t quite make her mind up about which one to team up with.

Tonight’s Episode:Tsugumi Spiral!

Shaula Gorgon has made her most direct, and violent, move so far. Poisoning DWMA student Eternal Feather and making her into one of her brainwashed Traitor puppets before making the helpless Eternal Feather turn her own blade on herself. That shocking act was the last thing Tsugumi saw before passing out, and when she awakens she is in the waiting room of the local hospital. Eternal Feather is already in surgery. Meme and Anya tell Tsugumi not to worry, the local doctor is very good. Except, he’s a bit … eccentric.

Log Horizon

Elder Tale is an MMO with over twenty million players world wide. When a new expansion is added to the game, Shiro and his friends find themselvers amongst the several hundred thousand players across the world that are now literally trapped inside the game.

Tonight’s Episode:Contract

A second wave of Sahuagin surged up the inlet towards Choushi, prompting the trainee group and their instructors to again throw themselves into battle to protect the town. But as they did a detachment of goblins approached the city from the other direction and Minori’s party broke off from the beach to stop them. And now the others have learned the secret Rudy and Isuzu have kept from them. In desperation Minori calls Shiroe for help, but bringing one of the People of the Land back from death’s door may be beyond even Shiroe’s capabilities.

Fukami Touko lives a simple, uneventful life in the town of Hinodehama. When she’s not helping with the family glass-working business she spends her time hanging out at the local café, Kazemichi, with her school friends. But during the summer break of their senior year in high school Touko and her friends meet a transfer student named Kakeru Okikura, who has a mysterious connection to Touko.

Tonight’s Episode:Fireworks

Hinodehama is a quiet little seaside town and Fukami Touko is enjoying the summer festivities with her friend Takayama Yanagi before they meet up with two other members of their high school circle of friends: Imi Yukinari and Shirosaki Hiro, in order to enjoy the evening’s fireworks display. As the two make their way through the stalls, trying their luck at games and purchasing trinkets that take their fancy, a figure passes near them in the crowd. A boy of high school age like themselves, who has just arrived in town by train.

Samurai Flamenco

He started as an enthusiastic amateur, grew into a trained hero with high tech gadgets, and now he leads a team of heroes backed by a giant robot. Hazama Masayoshi’s childhood dream of becoming the hero Samurai Flamenco has been fulfilled and then some. Of course, to be a hero you need villains to fight. But there seems to be no shortage of candidates lining up for that role …

Tonight’s Episode:Ultimate Prime Minister

Mari has made amends with the other members of Triple M and Hazama’s confidence has been restored after running into a man he helped when he first started his superhero career. He has finally gone to Gotou for help. However the police, it seems, have been waiting for him to make such a move. Fortunately Gotou has been waiting as well. As have several others. Hazama is not alone against the country and now, with the aid of his friends, Samurai Flamenco will return to confront the Prime Minister.

Genshiken Nidaime (Genshiken Second Generation)

The old guard have graduated and now only Ogiue, Ohno and Kuchiki remain. As a new year begins Genshiken is once again infused with new members, who bring with them their own quirks, tastes and personal baggage with which to befuddle, bemuse and entertain the rest of the club. The Society for the Study of Modern Visual Culture (Gendai Shikaku Bunka Kenkyukai, Gen Shi Ken) is back.

Tonight’s Episode:Beards and Boobs

Despite his overactive imagination seeing yaoi setups at every turn, Hato has managed to befriend Madarame. He also accidentally learned of Madarame’s feelings for Kasukabe. But that’s not important right now. What’s important is that Summer Comifest is coming up. And there are 52 pages left to do in Ogiue’s new manga. They’ve done multiple all-nighters and the strain is beginning to show. And in the midst of all this Angela, Kanako’s other friend from America, has come to visit.

Witch Craft Works

Takamiya Honoka’s life used to be completely normal. That is until the day he was attacked by a Witch of the Tower and learned that Kagari Ayaka, the most popular girl in school, is secretly his personal bodyguard and a witch herself. Now Takamiya must contend with a growing procession of eccentric magic users out to either kidnap or kill him, all whilst trying to figure out why anyone is interested in him in the first place.

Tonight’s Episode:Takamiya and Trial of Love

Medusa managed what Chronoire could not, she got Takamiya to eat the magic pill. And now Takamiya has met the insanely powerful witch Evermillion who is sealed inside him. Medusa has been defeated, and Chronoire rounded up in Kazane’s Witch Hunt, but Kagari and Takamiya still have problems at school to deal with. Kagari’s fanclub, who also happen to be the student council, continue to plot ways to separate Takamiya from the ‘princess’.

Sidonia no Kishi (Knights of Sidonia)

A thousand years after mankind fled Earth, Sidonia is a vast colony ship traversing deep space. The people within, genetically altered to contend with the harsh demands of space travel and Sidonia’s limited resources, live under a military dictatorship. Nagate Tanikaze however knows almost none of this, he has spent his life in the service tunnels of the ship, training in mecha combat simulators. When he is finally found by the rest of the Sidonia’s population, Tanikaze finds himself inducted into their military to help defend the colony ship against monstrous beings known as Gauna.

Tonight’s Episode:Adrift

An uneven acceleration of Sidonia’s main thrusters allowed the ship to dodge the incoming Gauna, although the damage to the city within was catastrophic. Then, in the midst of recovering one of the Kabizashi from Akai’s failed assault, the Gauna turned its attention to Tanikaze again. But this time, armed with the one weapon that can slay it, Tanikaze managed to kill the monster. Now Tanikaza has disobeyed orders again to pursue Hoshijiro’s escape pod, her mech having been destroyed by the gauna’s assault, taking both of them beyond Sidonia’s recovery range…

Gokukoku no Brynhildr (Brynhildr in the Darkness)

As a young boy, Ryouta Murakami cost a dear friend her life. A mistake he has never forgiven himself for. To this day he seeks to vilify his lost friend’s belief in the existence of aliens. But when a strange girl shows up at his school, a girl who bears an uncanny resemblance to his dead friend, Ryouta’s attention is pulled away from the stars to face the dark secrets this new girl brings with her.

Tonight’s Episode:Lost Memories

The raid on Dresden Pharmaceuticals, to acquire more of the pills that Kuroha and Kana need to survive, has not gone well. A sadistic witch named Saori, who remains loyal to the shadowy group that experimented on Kuroha and Kana, was dispatched to kill them at the warehouse. Kana foresaw Kuroha’s death, but she and Ryouta went anyway. And it was only after they split up that Ryouta realized Kuroha meant to sacrifice herself. Now, just as he discovers that Kuroha really was his childhood friend, he is forced to watch her die yet again. But Ryouta hasn’t given up yet …

Kill la Kill

Ryuko Matoi is a girl on a mission; to find the person responsible for her father’s death. Her search has led her to Honnouji Academy, a brutal, totalitarian school where the student council, led by Satsuki Kiryuin and empowered by their Ultima Uniforms, rule over everyone else. Ryuko quickly finds herself at odds with Satsuki’s dictatorship, but aid comes to Ryuko both from unexpected allies within the school … and a set of skimpy talking clothes.

Tonight’s Episode:Into the Night

The Great Culture and Sports Festival began, and all according to plan the assembled students and parents were enveloped in Life Fibres to feed this alien life form. But when Ryuuko and her allies arrived to try and free everyone things took a truly dramatic turn. Satsuki, it turns out, built her academy for a different reason that fulfilling her insane mother’s commands. She built it to raise an army with which to defeat her. Now, with the woman herself impaled through the heart, Satsuki’s rebellion against Kiryuuin Ragyou has begun.
