• May 24^th 2014 – Rather than a regular JAFWA screening, President Drew is sponsoring the night and putting in what he wants to see (strong possibility of “Macross: Do you remember love?”). However he welcomes suggestions as to which episode of “Patlabor” to finish filling out the night.
• Weekend containing June 21^st – SupaNova.
• July 19^th – JAFWA AGM from 3PM, with JAFWA annual elections during the Dinner Break 7PM – vote for anime overlord.

Synopsis

Kiniro Mosaic (Golden Mosaic)

Shinobu Omiya once stayed in England, where she met and befriended Alice Cartelet. Years later when Shinobu is in high school, Alice comes to Japan as an exchange student and the two renew their friendship.

Tonight’s Episode: “Who’s Staying Up?“

Autumn has well and truly arrived and Aya has an announcement to make. Her parents are away for the night, so a sleepover is organised. Alice and Shino stop on the way to pick up Karen. Yoko arrives late after stopping at a convenience store to get snacks. Once they are all there, everyone pitches in to help make dinner, although not everyone has a knack for cooking.

Tonight’s Episode: “It Seems That the Problem Children Really Prove Who’s Right and Wrong?“

The souls of those lost in the tragedy of Hamelin, the true Rattenfänger community, have revealed the truth of the event to Asuka and offered her Deen, a mighty golem with which to battle the demon lord Black Percher. Izayoi also knows the truth, having figured it out whilst discussing Shiroyasa’s imprisonment with the bedridden Kasukabe. But the Demon Lord has fought back, rearranging the city to prevent anyone from finding and smashing the stained glass windows with the fake legend on them, and empowering one of her servants so he can defeat Izayoi in combat.

Meanwhile, Touya and Minori, the newest members of Log Horizon, are getting some training in with Akatsuki and Naotsugu. Shiroe is busy with his own research, he is looking for something new he can create with his Scribe sub-class.

What’s it like to live and work on a farm? Get ready to find out. Join Yugo Hachiken, newly enrolled student at Oezo Agricultural High School, as he learns the details of modern agriculture and farm life from both his instructors and his fellow students.

Tonight’s Episode: “Hachiken Makes a Huge Mistake“

Summer break has shown Hachiken the varying styles of farm management. From the small-time farming of Komoba and his family, to the high volume Giga farm of Tamako’s family. Meanwhile Mikage’s father is back from hospital and as determined as ever to prevent Hachiken from fitting in around the farm, and around his daughter. But now they have a bigger problem, cattle from other farms have gotten onto the Mikage’s land and become mixed up with their herd. Rounding them up proves to be an impossible task until a stranger on a motorbike suddenly appears …

Galilei Donna

Hozuki, Kazuki and Hazuki Ferrari have endured many lectures from their mother about how they must live up to the legacy of their illustrious ancestor Galileo Galilei. But when shadowy groups start attacking them to get to “Galileo’s Inheritance” they discover their ancestry may be more important than they ever suspected.

Tonight’s Episode: “Japan“

Hozuki’s amulet is now in Roberto’s possession but they still have the sketches, and the next one is apparently in Japan. Something Hozuki is delighted about. Anna knows there are only two sketches left, and she suspects, or perhaps knows, something is in store for the girls once all the sketches are found. But Hozuki has a surprise for her, she wants to go to Kyoto first. Kyoto is the hometown of the Ferrari sister’s father, and they still have a living grandfather there, one that Hozuki has never met. To their surprise Anna agrees and so the next stop is Kyoto.

Samurai Flamenco

Hazama Masayoshi; male model by day, superhero by night. Or at least, that is the plan. With no super powers, no high tech gadgets, and no real training, enthusiasm is the only thing Hazama has to help him battle the drunk office workers and truant teenagers of Tokyo. Police officer Hidenori Gotou becomes an unwilling accomplice to the exploits of ‘Samurai Flamenco’ and along the way they both learn what it truly means to be a hero of justice.

Tonight’s Episode: “Attack of the Army of Evil“

King Torture has made his presence known to both Samurai Flamenco and the rest of Japan. Guillotine Gorilla was a shocking introduction, but Torture’s lieutenants continue to challenge Hazama. The latest is Hanging Kite, but the combined efforts of Hazama, Gotou and the Flamenco Girls overcomes him and his minions. It has been three weeks now since Torture’s first appearance, and Mari is still angry that Torture called out Samurai Flamenco as the champion of justice and completely ignored her.

Preview Item – Sekai Seifuku Bouryaku no Zvezda (World Conquest Zvezda Plot)

Jimon Asuta left his home and his unbearable father without any real plan on what to do next, but conquering the world definitely wasn’t what he expected. The steely willed, and adorable, Hoshimiya Kate snatches him off the streets and inducts him into her secret organisation, Zvezda. And although they’ve definitely got the tools of a world-conquering organisation, they’re not really what you would expect.

Tonight’s Episode: “Conquer All Humanity“

It late, in fact it’s getting close to curfew, but Jimon Asuta is still out on the streets. He calls his father and both receives abuse and gives the old man a piece of his mind before hanging up and, thus, leaving home officially. Of course being homeless isn’t exactly something to boast about, so when his classmate Renge Komadori stumbles upon him, Asuta pretends nothing is wrong. But plenty is wrong; he is homeless, he is hungry, and a military curfew is about to descend. But as it turns out, he is not the only one out after dark …

Jormungand: Perfect Order

Child soldier Jonah continues his job as bodyguard to the eccentric arms dealer Koko Hekmatyar. Allies are threatened and enemies start to pile on as her plans for the mysterious “Jormungand” begin to take shape.

Tonight’s Episode: “Warmonger“

The mysterious “Jormungand”, has finally been revealed. A quantum computer linked to HCLI satellites which scrambles all communication systems. The entire world will be denied access to the skies, and armies will be stripped of their ability to coordinate their forces. Koko has hated the world for engaging in war so easily and so enthusiastically, and now she is finally going to do something about it. But the plan will bring down every plane in the sky. Over half a million people will be sacrificed to bring Koko’s plans for world peace to fruition, and that is too many for Jonah …

Kyoukai no Kanata (Beyond the Boundary)

Akihito Kanbara is the half-human son of a dreamshade. Although never completely normal his life becomes a little more exciting when he meets Mirai Kuriyama, the last surviving member of a cursed clan of dreamshade hunters, and Akihito takes it upon himself to help her integrate with the other spirit warriors of their town and boost her confidence.

Tonight’s Episode: “Golden Lull“

Kuriyama and Sakura have made their peace but Fujima Miroku, the observer from the Dreamshade Hunters Association and the person that gave Sakura her weapon, is still in town. Whatever plans he has are being put into motion just as a Lull, a period of reduced strength for all dreamshades, begins. Izumi is also starting something, using a subordinate in the Nase Clan to practice a technique she needs to use on a human. For Kuriyama and Sakura however the Lull begins somewhat more mundanely, with Sakura having lost interest in school.

Kill la Kill

Ryuko Matoi is a girl on a mission; to find the person responsible for her father’s death. Her search has led her to Honnouji Academy, a brutal, totalitarian school where the student council, led by Satsuki Kiryuin and empowered by their Ultima Uniforms, rule over everyone else. Ryuko quickly finds herself at odds with Satsuki’s dictatorship, but aid comes to Ryuko both from unexpected allies within the school … and a set of skimpy talking clothes.

Tonight’s Episode: “A Once in a Lifetime Chance“

To no one’s surprise Ryuko and the Four Devas are the finalists of the Honnouji Academy ‘election’. Now Satsuki reveals that if Ryuko can defeat all four Devas she will reveal how Ryuko’s father died. Each of the four Deva’s is eager to prove themselves against Ryuko’s godrobe but their battle order has already been decided, Gamagoori Ira will be first. Ryuko wants to begin immediately, but the schedule says 1:00pm and Gamgoori is a stickler for the rules. The fight itself will be broadcast live, so Mako’s family needs to find a TV before it starts.
