Synopsis

Fairy Tail

Magic and mayhem in the nation of Fiore. The members of the infamous mage’s guild Fairy Tail spend their days sorting out problems for the residents of Magnolia and battling the odd apocalyptic demon or dark guild. Of course they don’t let little things like that get in the way of having fun.

Tonight’s Episode: “Human Gate“

Natsu is homing in on the scent of Zalty, a wizard he encountered some time ago who was actually Ultear in disguise, whilst Loki has identified one of the Seven Kin of Purgatory as the rogue Stellar Spirit Capricorn. He has sent Cana, Lucy and Gray away in order to fight him alone, but Capricorn has used his Human Summoning magic to send one of his servants after Lucy. It seems he was a servant of Lucy’s mother, and so should have continued on serving her daughter, but something happened …

The celebrations for the new Fire Dragon have been wrecked by the appearance of a Demon Lord and her gift game. The challenge, to uncover the true cause of the tragedy of Hamelin, has become almost impossible as her servants have run rampant. But now Black Rabbit has invoked her authority as a Judge Master to suspend the contest and begin negotiations between the demon lord and the representatives of the city. This is Jin’s chance to put his long nights of study to use. Of course his opponent is a Demon Lord, and one that has prepared her trap well…

Preview Item – Hamatora the Animation

Minimum Holders are people able to harness innate supernatural abilities. Two such people, Nice and Murosaki, run a laid back detective agency called Hamatora, staffed by other super-powered individuals. They may not have a fancy office, or a lot of money, but when the time comes to bring in the criminals they get the job done.

Tonight’s Episode: “Egg of Columbus“

Hamatora detective Nice just wanted to withdraw money from his account at the Tatehama Bank. An uncooperative ATM is bad enough but inside the bank there are even more – well armed – obstacles. Eventually Nice overcomes his financial difficulties and heads back to the Nowhere Cafe, or more correctly to the one table Hamatora can afford to rent, to see if there are any new jobs. Food for his tagalong Hajime already used up the money he withdrew. If he wants more he needs work and Koneko, the agency’s energetic “receptionist”, arrives with some intriguing job offers.

Log Horizon

Elder Tale is an MMO with over twenty million players world wide. When a new expansion is added to the game, Shiro and his friends find themselves amongst the several hundred thousand players across the world that are now literally trapped inside the game.

Tonight’s Episode: “Take it with your own hands“

Shiroe has dismantled the Hamelin guild and simultaneously convinced the major guilds of Akihabara to form the Round Table. His purchase of the city’s Guild Hall being a major factor in both achievements. And now Touya and Minori, free of the disbanded Hamelin, stand outside the guild building of Log Horizon. Marie and Henrietta meanwhile are out buying supplies for their guild, although Marie is more interested in the food stalls. They take a moment to appreciate just how much the city has improved in the week since the first Round Table Conference.

Gin no Saji (Silver Spoon)

What’s it like to live and work on a farm? Get ready to find out. Join Yugo Hachiken, newly enrolled student at Oezo Agricultural High School, as he learns the details of modern agriculture and farm life from both his instructors and his fellow students.

Tonight’s Episode: “Hachiken Goes to Giga Farm“

Hachiken has had a real baptism of fire in his introduction to a farm household. Mikage’s father has worked him like a dog, her grandfather had him skinning and gutting a deer, and he’s seen the struggles of Komaba’s family farm. But papa Mikage is now in hospital getting treatment for both his back and his blood pressure, and Hachiken is turning out to be a decent farmhand. Good enough that he’s earned some time off. Hachiken recalls Komaba telling him to check out the Tamako family property, and soon he’s on his way to the enormous Giga farm.

Galilei Donna

Hozuki, Kazuki and Hazuki Ferrari have endured many lectures from their mother about how they must live up to the legacy of their illustrious ancestor Galileo Galilei. But when shadowy groups start attacking them to get to “Galileo’s Inheritance” they discover their ancestry may be more important than they ever suspected.

Tonight’s Episode: “Salt Fish“

The power of Hozuki’s amulet has now been seen by both the Black Ganymede pirates and the ruthless Roberto, who it turns out is the person Anna has been making secret phone calls to. He states his own belief that the amulet is Galileo’s Inheritance, and his intention to come and take it immediately. Although unaware of this imminent threat the Ferrari sisters have concluded that Hozuki’s amulet contains, or perhaps the Galileo Tessoro itself is, some new energy source, and this is what the power hungry and unscrupulous Adni Moon is after..

Samurai Flamenco

Hazama Masayoshi; male model by day, superhero by night. Or at least, that is the plan. With no super powers, no high tech gadgets, and no real training, enthusiasm is the only thing Hazama has to help him battle the drunk office workers and truant teenagers of Tokyo. Police officer Hidenori Goto becomes an unwilling accomplice to the exploits of ‘Samurai Flamenco’ and along the way they both learn what it truly means to be a hero of justice.

Tonight’s Episode: “Change the World“

The efforts of both Samurai Flamenco and the Flamenco Girls have cleaned up the city. Even Goto and the Vigilante Counseling Unit have less to do, more people call to thank the new superheros than to complain about them. Hazama’s day job is also doing better, at least in part because he gets more sleep. But Hazama is now wondering what the next step in his crime-fighting career should be. Kaname, back from another overseas trip, has only inspirational speeches about a true hero finding the answer for himself, whilst Harazuka wants more data on his stationery weapons.

Jormungand: Perfect Order

Child soldier Jonah continues his job as bodyguard to the eccentric arms dealer Koko Hekmatyar. Allies are threatened and enemies start to pile on as her plans for the mysterious “Jormungand” begin to take shape.

Tonight’s Episode: “New World: Phase 3“

The US government is aware of Koko’s plan to kidnap another scientist, this time from one of their secret facilities in Guantanamo, and is sending in a SEAL team to prevent it. But the move is delayed by officials higher up the chain of command. Bookman has called in favours to delay the SEAL team, even though it was him that alerted the government to Koko’s intended attack. The delay gives Koko’s team enough time to get the scientist, codenamed Rabbitfoot, and escape, but that is all. SEAL Team Night Nine is now on their trail, with orders to kill.

Kyoukai no Kanata (Beyond the Boundary)

Akihito Kanbara is the half-human son of a dreamshade. Although never completely normal his life becomes a little more exciting when he meets Mirai Kuriyama, the last surviving member of a cursed clan of dreamshade hunters, and Akihito takes it upon himself to help her integrate with the other spirit warriors of their town and boost her confidence.

Tonight’s Episode: “Cloudy Grey“

Inami Yui’s younger sister Sakura has remained in town since her confrontation with Kuriyama, hunting dreamshades to feed to her weapon. In one such rain-soaked battle the little bell around her neck draws up memories of her older sister, how she and Kuriyama had the innate talents to be dreamshade hunters and Sakura did not. The next day Nino, the Kuriyama family member on the school’s staff, shows up at the Literature Club’s meeting. Nino is there because she has some news that may concern Kuriyama.

Kill la Kill

Ryuko Matoi is a girl on a mission; to find the person responsible for her father’s death. Her search has led her to Honnouji Academy, a brutal, totalitarian school where the student council, led by Satsuki Kiryuin and empowered by their Ultima Uniforms, rule over everyone else. Ryuko quickly finds herself at odds with Satsuki’s dictatorship, but aid comes to Ryuko both from unexpected allies within the school … and a set of skimpy talking clothes.

Tonight’s Episode: “I Will Wipe My Own Tears“

With Ryuko’s utter decimation of Honnouji Academy’s clubs, Satsuki has used this as an excuse to shake up the entire school. The first ever “Naturals Selection” has begun. Satsuki encourages the student body to turn on each other in a ruthless, unrestrained battle royale to earn a place in Honnouji’s student hierarchy. For the duration of the contest Satsuki is sealing herself within her tower at the school, completely safe from any possible assault, so Ryuuko has little to do except avoid fellow students blinded by Satsuki’s offer of power.
