The tentative JAFWA program for Saturday 17th April 2010 is below. To be held in the Collins Street Community Center on Collins Street just off Canning Highway in South Perth.
Things of Note:
1) Barring a few teething troubles, the move to JAFWA’s new location at Collins Street Community Center went well! NOTE that the free sausage sizzle will not be happening each week, but feel free to thank Drew, Julian, Wendy and Sally.
Also thanks to the people who helped clean up at the end of night. Much appreciated.
2) Should we be thinking of the upcoming JAFWA annual elections sometime soon? Who wishes to help in the running of JAFWA?
3) We are thinking of letting people sponsor a new anime series once a timeslot becomes free. However, last night proved that no two people had the same idea of what that means. So we will hash the meaning out and try again after that.
4) Are there any artistic types who can design for JAFWA a new mascot? Nobody seems to recognise (the somewhat venerable) Misty May from Daicon 3 and 4.
