No Screening 27th March or 3rd April 2010
The tentative JAFWA program for Saturday 10th April 2010 is below. To be held in the Collins Street Community Center on Collins Street just off Canning Highway in Kensington/South Perth. Where WestLodge has been meeting for 27 years.
Things of Note:
1) The SGM unanimously decided to move JAFWA’s location to the Collins Street Community Center!
2) Should we be thinking of the upcoming JAFWA annual elections sometime soon?
3) Since on April 10 Westlodge will be using the place before us until maybe 5:30PM, we are thinking of having early Dinner/Sausage Sizzle then screening after, starting from 6PM. Also, we won’t have the usual JAFWA program, but instead a Detective Conan movie and several audience choice preview.
4) Are there any artistic types who can design for JAFWA a new mascot? Nobody seems to recognise (the somewhat venerable) Misty May from Daicon 3 and 4.
