Screening on Saturday 17th April 2021

We are coming to the end of a few regular series this week at JAFWA, so this week we will hold a survey to help decide what new regular series (we need at least 4) we put on the program in May.
Just a reminder to come early, as the COVID countermeasures limit the number of people we can admit.

This week we farewell our supernatural mystery solver in “In/Spectre”. And we will have a double episode of “Revolutionary Girl Utena”, to help speed up the arrival of May.
But best of all, we have decided on one of the new regular series that is to start – the second series of Re:Zero. But since it has been a while since we have seen the first series, we thought we would first put on an OAV to help remind you of the series. So after the terrible doom and gloom our protagonist suffered in the first series, our protagonist and friends get to relax and enjoy some winter fun.

Utena In/Spectre Memory Snow

A query:- Do we have enough interest to try doing an auction during the marathon screening of April 24?

We continue taking precautions to limit the possible second wave of CoVid-19, and we ask that you co-operate and even help where possible with our efforts to keep you safe – some social distancing, extra cleaning with antiseptic, library under limited access, etc. Also, we must ask that anyone unfortunate enough to be infected to not attend JAFWA until they are contagion free.
Help would be welcome during set-up and pack-up due to the extra duties imposed by COVID-19. Please arrive early to confirm personal details due to COVID 19 regulations. There will be Contract Tracing, either by the SafeWA app on your keitai (mobile phones), or by signing in at the contact tracing sheet at the front desk. And we need to wipe the chairs down with disinfectant before they are stacked away.
