No screening on Saturday 6th October 2018

No Screening until Saturday October 13th, 2018

This will be our usual first Saturday of the month rest break, so worry not as JAFWA will return the next week, with a brand new regular series, and a couple of preview items. Forgive my sense of drama, but I will not reveal to the new regular series until next week, except to say that we first previewed this series at JAFWA not quite one year ago.

Japanese Film Festival

Each year the Japanese Film Festival tours the major cities of Australia. It will reach Perth soon, starting October 31st, at Event cinemas Innaloo. See the list of movies they will be showing at various locations.

Early Bird and multi-film deals available.

Japanese Calendars

JAFWA member Dale is ready to do his annual bulk ordering of calendars from Japan. The entire list has not yet been released, and there may yet be some release date changes. However, I should be able to order anything from this site if people would like. Like the DVD orders, Dale prefers about a 50% deposit up front. Don’t forget that the exchange rate sometimes changes between now and release date.
