Week off Saturday 3^rd September, 2016

Screening

There will be no JAFWA screening on September 3^rd, for it is our usual beginning of month weekend off.

Go out and experience this thing called “Life”. There are assorted, probably trustworthy people who recommend it.
Get yourself good and ready for when JAFWA returns on September 10^th.

The results of the survey are in. The titles that won are below, and will soon be added to the regular program.

I am vaguely disappointed that only one other person voted with me for “Amanchu!” as #1.

• Saturday September 24^th – JAFWA’s next Event afternoon, where we have the Hall before the JAFWA screening, for make your own fun. Doors open 12:30PM
• November 2^nd to 6^th – Japanese Film Festival – ? Get ready to discover another world ?
• Saturday November 26^th – JAFWA’s Swap Meet – an opportunity to sell and buy all your fannish stuff.

Is nothing else interesting happening?
How about, after 366 TV episodes, “Bleach” anime has finally ended. When we first started screening “Bleach” at JAFWA, it was thought that it was 1-cour show, perhaps 2-cour at most. How wrong we were. Memories.
