We are indeed on this Saturday, even though this is the ANZAC Day long weekend.
For when the troop ship departed Albany carrying those brave soldiers who would write the ANZAC legend in blood, sweat and tears, were they not escorted by the battleship “Ibuki” of our Japanese allies to protect them against a potential attack by the German enemy?

Synopsis

Fairy Tail

Magic and mayhem in the nation of Fiore. The members of the infamous mage’s guild Fairy Tail spend their days sorting out problems for the residents of Magnolia and battling the odd apocalyptic demon or dark guild. Of course they don’t let little things like that get in the way of having fun.

Tonight’s Episodes: “Natsu vs Rogue“

After witnessing Future Lucy’s death by future Rogue as she defended present Lucy, an extremely angry Natsu powers up with his Dragon Slayer magic and furiously battles future Rogue. Meanwhile, Lucy and the others exit the castle to meet Hisui as she prepares to open Eclipse. Will Lucy try to close the gate as foretold?

Shirobako (White Box)

Aoi Miyamori and her four friends made up the Animation club at their high school, and all five of them aimed to go into the Anime industry after graduation. Now Aoi, like her friends, has made her dream come true. She works for Musashino Animation, a little studio in Tokyo. The job comes with all sorts of challenges and stresses but Aoi wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t something she wanted to do.

Tonight’s Episodes: “Noa’s in Her Underwear“

The first episode of The Third Aerial Girls Squad has successfully aired. There is plenty of work yet to do, but for the time being all the people involved (artists, animators, producers, et al) can pause for a breath and a chance to grumble before they knuckle down for the last deadline rush.

Kazuya Hasekawa believed life in the dorms at Ryokuto Academy would be a breeze, unfortunately he’s been assigned to Greenwood. This dorm used to be a lunatic asylum, and some of its current resident’s act like it still is. Between his crossdressing roommate Shun Kisaragi, the bullying of dorm president Mitsuru Ikeda, and the teasing of his older brother Kazuhiro, who also serves as the school nurse, Kazuya’s life at Greenwood certainly won’t be dull.

Tonight’s Episodes: “Here is Devilwood”

It is time for the School Festival and Student President Shinobu and dorm leader Mitsuru see the chance to win the festival prize money. An artist needs models, and Hasekawa Kazuya will not have a peaceful time. Let the filming of Devilwood occur.

Ansatsu Kyoushitsu, Season 2 (Assassination Classroom, Season 2)

The 10 billion yen bounty on the head of supersonic, tentacled schoolteacher Koro-sensei remains unclaimed. Despite the best efforts of everyone involved. The students of class 3E are still training to assassinate their teacher, in between getting an education and all sorts of valuable life lessons from him. But will they manage to do it before this overgrown, yellow octopus carries out his threat to destroy the entire world?

Tonight’s Episodes: “Round Two Time”

With the students in the process of deciding on their future careers, Nagisa ponders whether he should become a professional assassin, for his skills are great. But what made Nagisa this way, let us see his family life.

Noragami Aragoto

Hiyori Iki continues to interact with the world of gods, and in particular the still-homeless war god Yato and his divine instrument Yuki. Yato still hasn’t fulfilled his promise to re-attach her loose soul, and it may not happen anytime soon now. Because the war god Bishamon is back, and she still has an axe to grind with Yato. And she’s not the only one looking to meddle in Yato’s affairs…

Tonight’s Episodes: “A Certain Desire

The heavens are thrown into chaos when the gods learn that Ebisu has been experimenting with Phantoms. Meanwhile, Yato and Ebisu struggle to escape Izanami and leave the underworld behind. Will Hiyori ever remember Yato?

Otosaka Yuu has the ability to take over other people’s bodies, albiet only for a few seconds. Limited though this super power is Yuu intended to exploit it for his own benefit, but his efforts only served to attract the attention of other teenagers with strange powers. Now Otosaka Yuu is an, unwilling, student at Hoshi no Umi Academy. A school created to keep people like him out of trouble … but also to keep them safe.

Tonight’s Episodes: “The World is Not in Here”

While at the Zhiend concert with Nao, Yuu feels a familiar sensation upon hearing what is supposed to be a brand-new song, which suddenly causes him to have a flashback of his past. A past history that has never yet happened.

Preview Item – Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo! (God’s Blessing on this Beautiful World)

Kazuma Satou wasn’t looking for anything beyond his simple high school shut-in existence. But one untimely death later and he finds himself before the goddess Aqua with the chance to be deposited in a fantasy kingdom that is in need of heroes to defeat a demon lord. Things don’t look good from the moment he arrives and so Kazuma decides to ditch the whole “save the world” thing and just try to become rich and live comfortably. Unfortunately, the various eccentric companions he is saddled with aren’t really helping with that goal.

Tonight’s Episodes: “This Self-Proclaimed Goddess and Reincarnation in Another World“

After meeting an untimely death, Kazuma Sat? is greeted by the goddess Aqua who offers to send him to a reality with MMORPG elements to battle the Devil King there. Given the choice of anything to arm himself with, Kazuma chooses Aqua herself, much to Aqua’s dismay. And perhaps Kazuma, for she is not a particularly useful goddess. And here come the Devil King’s minions.

Preview Item – Kotetsujou no Kabaneri (Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress)

Ikoma is a lowly engineer in the walled city of Arawakin, one of a series of city-stations linked together by rail lines and serviced by massive, armour-plated steam trains. The reason for such lumbering transport? The Kabane. Victims of a plague that turns people into flesh-eating zombies and encases their hearts in iron. Outside the walled cities the Kabane roam the land. Within them the people are ready to slaughter any new arrival should they show the slightest hint of infection. Everyone from peasant to soldier lives in constant fear, but not Ikoma. He intends to fight back.

Tonight’s Episodes: “Frightened Corpse”

The Kotetsujo armored steam train is preparing to pass through an abandoned railway station that has been overrun by Kabane. The train is attacked by many Kabane and the Bushi manage to repel them with their steam guns, with losses. Meanwhile at the train’s destination, Arawakin station, Ikoma is working on a powerful gun to kill the Kabane. Events more towards tragedy.

Jojo no Kimyou na Bouken (JoJo’s Bizzare Adventure)

The Joestar’s are a wealthy English family, but one with a dark fate. Ever since the days of Jonathon Joestar and his adopted brother Dio Brando, and the succession struggle that came about from Dio’s greed, the Joestar family line has found itself embroiled in supernatural horror and world-threatening ambition. And it always falls to the current Jojo, whoever it may be, to stop the madness.

Tonight’s Episodes: “The Warrior of Wind”

The dying Waamu launches his final attack against JoJo, trying to take him down as well. A determination that Jojo must acknowledge. Now it will be Lisa Lisa’s turn to battle Kars, should a lot of angry vampires permit it. But Lisa Lisa has a secret she has not told Jojo.

Death Parade

The Quindecim is a bar, accessible only by a pair of elevators. Within this stately and impressive establishment the bar is tended by a man known as Dequim, with the assistance of a small but skilled staff. No one comes here alone, and no one remembers how they ended up here … at first. But the result is always the same; the guests must play a game against each other, and the stakes could not be higher.

Tonight’s Episode: “Storyteller“

Decim, who questions his ability to judge people following the previous game, is reminded by Nona that he needs to judge the woman, whose dummy body will not last much longer if she goes too long without judgement. Deciding against having the woman’s memories sent to him, Decim arranges a game in which he, the woman, and an old illustrator named Sachiko Uemura, play Old Maid using cards featuring designs based on all three of them.
