Fairy Tail

Magic and mayhem in the nation of Fiore. The members of the infamous mage’s guild Fairy Tail spend their days sorting out problems for the residents of Magnolia and battling the odd apocalyptic demon or dark guild. Of course they don’t let little things like that get in the way of having fun.

Tonight’s Episode:New Guild

With Wendy out of commission (at least temporarily), Elfman joins the Fairy Tail team to get them through the Sky Labyrinth elimination round. This preliminary challenge is intended to whittle the teams down from 113 which, strangely, is more than the number of guilds in Fiore. Fairy Tail proceeds to solve the Sky Labyrinth challenge the old fashioned way; by taking maps from other teams by force. This works, but only just. They are in eighth place.

Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun (Monthly Girl’s Nozaki-kun)

High school student Sakura Chiyo has a serious crush on her tall, stoic schoolmate Nozaki Umetarou. But when she finally plucks up the courage to tell him she always wants to be with him, she finds herself employed as his assistant. Turns out Nozaki is a shoujo manga artist, and by working alongside him Sakura gets to see her high school crush in action … and see the not-so-perfect inspiration for his stories.

Tonight’s Episode:The Manga Artist’s Brain – Nozaki-kun

Seo and Wakamatsu’s interactions have become a strange mix of torment and misunderstandings. And through it all Wakamatsu remains oblivious to the fact that Seo is the ‘Lorelei’ of the Glee Club who’s singing brings him beautiful restful sleep. Nozaki, meanwhile, has finished his latest manuscript ahead of schedule, so Sakura invites him out to have some fun during his free time… And only after saying it realizes this would count as a date.

Log Horizon season 2

Life continues for Shiroe and the others trapped within the world of Elder Tale. The city of Akihabara is now prosperous and thriving thanks to the efforts and innovations of the adventurers. But prosperity does not guarantee safety, Shiroe’s skills have already been tested against the nefarious Nureha and her guild Plant Hwyaden, and now he must find a way to secure Akihabara’s future against those who would seek to claim it for themselves.

Tonight’s Episode:A Lost Child at Dawn

Even with the help of the West Wind Brigade’s Guild Master Souji, Akatsuki is unable to defeat Enheart Nelreth. Not only are the Royal Guard not showing up to stop this fight taking place in the middle of town, the rogue Samurai’s health was barely touched despite multiple successful attacks. So whilst Henrietta and Marielle wait outside the Cathedral for her revival, and Princess Lenissia blames herself for her death, Akatsuki gets to see what greets those adventurers who fall in battle. But she is not the only one that was sent to this place between worlds …

Preview – Ansatsu Kyoushitsu (Assassination Classroom)

The students of Class 3E are the lost causes of Kunugigaoka Junior High. But they have been given one last chance to redeem themselves. Their new teacher is not human, he’s a monster that blew a hole through the moon and now threatens to do the same to Earth in twelve months’ time. If the students can manage to kill him before then, they get 10 billion yen and the gratitude of the worlds’ governments. So, it’s time to assassinate the teacher! Which is kind of a shame, because he’s a really good teacher…

Tonight’s Episode:Assassination Time

Class 3E sits silently in their classroom. The shockwave of his landing signals that the teacher has arrived, and a few moments later he enters and begins taking attendance; while an entire classroom opens fire on him with an array of guns. With attendance taken, and the teacher completely unharmed, the students complain about the ineffectiveness of their weapons. Until their teacher explains that whilst they aren’t lethal to humans the weapons would actually kill him, if they had managed to hit him.

Kazama Kenji goal in life was simple; become a famous and feared delinquent. Instead he finds himself mixed up with his school’s struggling Game Development club and its various … eccentric … members. Yet the harder he tries to get away from them, the more he finds himself running into the other crazies in his school.

Tonight’s Episode:Damn You, Fake Game Dev Club!

Kenji has become a (not quite willing) member of the Game Development Club, although he won’t actually be attending meetings until his suspension ends. This means he hasn’t yet met the Game Dev Club’s nemesis, Takao, who is none too pleased that his membership prevented the clubs dissolution. Kenji’s suspension ends in two days, but he won’t have to wait that long to get mixed up in the club’s problems.

Noragami (Stray God)

Hiyori Iki is introduced to the world of spirits and deities after her first encounter with Yato, a homeless war god, results in a near death experience. Now Hiyori needs the ambitious Yato to help stop her soul from disconnecting from her body, but a god who doesn’t even have a shrine, let alone worshippers, doesn’t really inspire much confidence.

Tonight’s Episode:Scary Person

Hiyori tries to give Yuki a proper home life, despite Yato’s misgivings about sleeping outside the sanctified courtyard of a shrine or temple. But Yuki still has the desires and emotions of a teenager, so when Yato scolds him for thinking impure thoughts about Hiyori, he runs off. Only to get lost on the streets and get introduced to the darker side of Yato’s world. When he fails to keep the ghost of a child killed in a car crash from being corrupted by the other phantoms, Yuki is forced to aid Yato in killing her. And now the recriminations begin …

Sword Art Online, Season 2

It has been a year since the victims of Alfheim Online were freed from their virtual prison, and more than a year since Sword Art Online was shut down. But now it has begun once again. A mysterious figure has been making appearances in the game Gun Gale Online, and other players drop dead in their wake. Kirito finds himself once again risking his life in the online world.

Tonight’s Episode:The Phantom Bullet

Sinon was able to deal with both the extra complication of Yamikaze, the other player in their vicinity, and take out Death Gun’s sniper rifle at the cost of her scope. But Death Gun has one last surprise up his sleeve, a small rapier-like blade with which to duel Kirito. The two exchange taunts and whilst Kirito knows that Internal Affairs has the names (real and online) of the SAO survivors, Death Gun points out that doesn’t do him any good unless he knows which Laughing Coffin player Death Gun was…

Preview – Terra Formars

In the year 2120, mankind commenced the terraforming of Mars so that future generations could emigrate to the red planet and ease overcrowding. 500 years later, Earth’s population is being ravaged by an extra-terrestrial disease and a team of volunteers is assembled to travel to Mars in the hopes of finding a cure. But the crew will face far worse than cold temperatures and thin atmosphere on the red planet, the organisms sent to terraform Mars have changed …

Tonight’s Episode:Symptom

Hizamaru Akari is in the final of an underworld pit fighting tournament. Unfortunately for him, the fight was never meant to be fair, and his opponent looks set to paint the ring blood red. But there are two people in the audience who think Akari may still win, and they’re not millionaires here to watch the slaughter …

Psycho-Pass 2

Makishima Shougo is dead, and Akane Tsunemori still works for Public Security. With a new junior inspector and two new Enforcers she struggles to protect the public from the latent criminals in their midst, whilst hiding from them the horrible truth of the Sybil System. But a new menace walks the streets, a new threat that once again cannot be judged by Sybil. And this time they’re not just a lone psychopath, this time they’re recruiting.

Tonight’s Episode:Untraceable Children

Kamui’s plan all along was to collect more Dominators. With Shisui’s eye implanted in place of one of his own, the pair spread out through the facility butchering Shisui’s former comrades. Akane and her team are able to overcome the rogue military droids but fail to stop Kamui’s escape. Now back at headquarters, and with Inspector Shimotsuki out dealing with all the latent criminals ‘awakened’ by seeing the slaughter they inadvertently caused with the hacked “Hungry Chicken” game, Akane tries to deduce Kamui’s next move.

Hope’s Peak Private Academy is a famous boarding school, known as a place for students who are the best in their field. When the unremarkable Makoto Naegi wins a lottery to enter the school he and fourteen other new students find the horrible truth hidden within; Hope’s Peak is a prison, and the only way out is to kill one of the other inmates without getting caught.

Tonight’s Episode:Return of the New Century Galaxy Legend! O Armored Hero, Stand upon the Earth!

Despite Togami deliberately tampering with the crime scene to point them at Fukawa’s alter ego, the serial killer Genocider Syo, Naegi and the other students are eventually able to discover the truth. Much to Ishimara’s horror and disbelief, his new friend Ohwada murdered the cross-dressing Fujisaki in a fit of madness over his own questionable past. But it seems the shocks and surprises are not done yet. On a trip to the kitchen for a midnight snack, Asahina notices the lights on in the bathroom. And what she sees there makes her scream.
