Synopsis

Hyouka

Unable to say no to his elder sister, Oreki Hotaro joins his school’s
Classic Literature Club to prevent it from being shut down. And despite his
earnest desire to avoid expending any energy at all, the other members of the
club will drag him along on all manner of mysteries. Making good use of the
deductive skills he refuses to believe he possesses.

Tonight’s Episode: “The Last Target”

Satoshi is checking out the special edition that the newspaper club has put
out on the Juumonji incident, their excitement matches his own. Several amateur
detectives have gathered to try and foil Juumonji’s next theft but their vigil
ends up being in vain as Juumonji hits a different club. Satoshi stops to
rethink his strategy. Meanwhile Hotaro is reviewing their sales for the day
when his sister makes an appearance. Upon discovering that the broken fountain
pen she gave him was the first in a list of interesting exchanges she decides
to replace the mirror currently in his posession with a copy of the manga, “A
Corpse By Midnight”…

Fairy Tail

Magic and mayhem in the nation of Fiore. The members of the infamous
mage’s guild Fairy Tail spend their days sorting out problems for the
residents of Magnolia and battling the odd apocalyptic demon or dark guild. Of
course they don’t let little things like that get in the way of having
fun.

Tonight’s Episode: “The Doomsday Dragon Chain Cannon”

The Earthland and Edolas Erza’s continue their duel. They seem evenly
matched and so the fight has dragged on, but both are eager to finish it.
Meanwhile, Wendy and Carla have come to the Exceed kingdom seeking an audience
with the Queen. A human is a rare, in some cases utterly new, sight for the
residents. But when Carla and Wendy try to pass on the warning about the
impending attack by the King of Edolas, they are met with laughter and
derision.

Uchyuu Kyoudai (Space Brothers)

As kids Muta and Hibito Nanba made a promise, that they would both become
astronauts. 19 years later Hibito is on the verge of fulfilling that promise
but Muta is not doing nearly so well, that is until he is accepted into the
astronaut training program.

Tonight’s Episode: “Alarm, but no Clock”

Life for the participants in the third JAXA exam is not going well. Makabe
and the rest of team B are still dealing with the issue of the late night
alarm. Meanwhile with the loss of Team A’s clock, and Furuya throwing
accusations around, things are not going well for Mutta and Serika either. In
the control room Hoshida is showing Director Nasuda the stress levels of the
applicants, and Nasuda is eager to see how they deal with “the green ones”.
Mutta is still trying to make sense of Fukuda’s enigmatic answer to why he
broke the clock, and now the late night alarm has begun in Team A’s chamber
as well.

Desu Yo (Problem Children are Coming from Another World Aren’t
They?)

Welcome to the world of Little Garden. A place full of magical beasts,
mythical figures, and powerful inhabitants. Fame and fortune await the bold,
for anything can be had if you are willing to gamble your power, or even your
freedom, for it.

Tonight’s Episode: “The Problem Children Have Arrived at Little Garden, Haven’t They”

Our first protagonist is staving off boredom by attacking bullies with the
force of an aerial bombardment. He is then greeted by the sight of a letter
addressed to him floating down out of thin air. Our second protagonist finds
her letter on the table in her finely decorated bedroom. According to the maid
noone has been in her room, and even under hypnosis her story does not change.
Finally our third protagonist has her letter delivered by a cat. All three
letters say the same thing; “This letter is for those of you with many troubles
and extraordinary powers. If you wish to see how far that power of yours will
take you, cast aside your family, your friends, your possessions, and come to
our ‘Little Garden'”.

Hataraku Maou Sama! (The Devil is a Part-Timer)

Having been thwarted in his attempts to conquer Ente Isla, the mighty demon
lord Satan escapes through a portal with his general Alsiel… And winds up in
modern day Tokyo with very little magical power left. His resources for world
domination now consist of a tiny rented apartment and a job at a fast food
restaurant.

Tonight’s Episode: “The Hero stays at the Dark Lord’s stronghold for work reasons”

When the Dark Lord Satan fled from Ente Isla, the hero Emilia pledged to
follow him wherever he went and end his life. Now, having tracked him to a
small MgRonalds store in Tokyo, she confronts him one night after work. Mao is
not looking for a fight, but Emilia won’t let him walk, or ride, away. The
grand battle between the Dark Lord and the Hero of Ente Isla is about to
begin… maybe.

Suisei no Gargantia (Gargantia on the Verdurous
Planet)

Galactic Alliance soldier Ledo faces a huge change in lifestyle and outlook
when he is separated from his comrades and forced to make his way aboard the
Gargantia, a floating city greatly removed from both the technology and the
concerns of his home.

Tonight’s Episode: “The Ruffian Queen”

Ledo and Chamber have demonstrated their destructive power. The pirate
vessels attacking the Gargantia’s salvage ships have been disabled and their
crew vaporised. But the response from Gargantia surprises Ledo. The problem is
the rest of the pirate fleet will want revenge. Ridget decalres that Ledo
cannot stay aboard Gargantia, but Pinion raises the frightening possibility of
him joining the pirates. The Commodore postpones further discussion, they must
first deal with the pirates. Amy meanwhile feels guilty for having asked Ledo
to intervene in the first place.

Sword Art Online

VR technology has made full-immersion video games possible, and the latest
and greatest is Sword Art Online. But the players who logged in on the first
day find that logging back out may be a lot harder, and the challenges of the
game more than they bargained for.

Tonight’s Episode: “Return”

Kirito and Asuna are sitting on their porch on a sunny day, Kirito reading
and Asuna drifting off to sleep. A stray apple falling from the table inside
shatters the illusion and suddenly Kirito is on his own, the ominous red sky
full of clouds flashing by at impossible speed. The house shatters into
fragments and then disappears entirely, leaving him alone in a forest clearing.
It is at this moment that Kazuto finally awakens from his nightmare and
confronts himself in the mirror, wiping away tears. It has been two months
since he and the others were freed from Sword Art Online.

Shin Sekai Yori (From the New World)

A thousand years into the future all mankind possesses psychic powers, and
the people live in idyllic splendor. But the path that led to this tranquil
life was not so perfect, and the world that Saki and her friends live in may
not be as gentle and pleasant as it seems.

Tonight’s Episode: “To my beloved Saki”

Satoru and Saki sit together in the snow, away from Yakomaru/Squealer and
the other queerats, and read Maria’s letter. She and Mamoru are gone, and they
do not want the others to look for them. They feel there is no longer a place
for them in the village, that they are not safe there anymore. Maria reflects
on how all the children are treated more like defective products than human
beings. As she reads, Saki remembers the time she spent with Maria when they
were younger…

Shingeki no Kyojin (Attack on Titan)

The entirety of mankind lives encased within a series of fortified walls
which protect them from the Titans. giant humanoid monsters who devour people,
that roam the world beyond the outer wall. But now, after nearly a hundred
years of relative safety, new Titans have appeared.The security of the walls is
a thing of the past, and mankind may be facing extinction.

Tonight’s Episode: “I Can Hear the Beating of His Heart: Battle of Trost – Part 4”

The sudden appearance of an abnormal titan has saved a grounded Mikasa. And
as she, Armin and Connie watch on it annihilates two other 15 meter titans.
Armin has swapped out his nearly empty gas cylinders for Mikasa’s completely
empty ones, requesting that he be left her broken blade so he can at least
avoid being eaten alive. But Mikasa is having none of it, she does not intend
to lose anyone else this day. Armin is horrified at the thought of his friends
once again endangering themselves for his sake. But then he hears the Titan
Killer roar once more, and he hits upon an idea …

Psycho-Pass

In a future where the psychological profiling system Sybil determines your
place in society, or your removal for the good of society, new police force
recruit Akane Tsunemori finds herself facing both the challenge of catching
madmen loose in society, and of working alongside those deemed half mad
already. All the while dealing with the consequences of a society that will
lock you up or kill you for thinking bad thoughts…

Tonight’s Episode: “Paradise Fruit”

Kougami and Akane stand alone in the art room, listening to an audio
recording between Makishima and Rikako. As they discuss the prospects of
catching either of them Ginoza takes Kougami away for a private conversation.
To Kougami’s surprise Ginoza apologizes for pulling him off the case in the
first place. Kougami, however, is not upset. The next day as Akane gets dressed
she catches an interview with Senguji Toyohisa, one of the first people to
become a full body cyborg. And unbeknownst to her also the man that hunted down
and butchered Rikako for sport …
