Screening of Saturday 20th September 2025

JAFWA continues in September (Winter Hours:- 4:15PM -> 9:45PM)

The Spring Solstice is rapidly approaching, which is in many countries (including Japan) the official beginning of Spring. This being Australia suggests that warmth and sunlight are set to return to JAFWA faster than we expect. None the less, we are still observing Winter Hours this month. Hoping we won’t need the Sun Disactivator yet.
But the general level of happiness is currently elevated due to the long-awaited final season start of Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Movie: Infinity Castle to be watched and venerated at various cinemas, in both subbed and dubbed versions. You need merely choose wisely.

This week’s program will include a preview item that involves re-incarnation, magical fantasy and an occasionally mortified young prodigy.

The Beginning After the End

If you would like to showcase the anime that holds great meaning and value to you, please offer to sponsor a night of JAFWA and screen your favourites. If you don’t want to sponsor an entire night like both Lindsay and Elliot did previously, there is the other scheme for our signed up members. On the night nearest your birthday, as Greg and Sally did, you can nominate something to play during the Dinner Break (limited to 30 minutes max). You may have to help us source this material, so plan and inform us in advance please.

And there is the end of year irregular screening to consider. What do you want to see in it?

Below is the draft program for the evening of Saturday September 20th, 2025.
