No Screening this Saturday, 5th July 2025

No JAFWA screening until Saturday 12th July 2025!

Winter Hours:- 4:15PM->9:45PM

The Winter Solstice is past and it is JAFWA‘s regular one Saturday a month break from screening anime. This allows you, our wonderful attendees, to enjoy some other “Life” (sticky and organic as it is, currently in a freezing state) on the first Saturday of June. Basically, this upcoming week is for chilling out.

Remember that in the second screening in July we will be having our Annual General Meeting and committee elections. What item do you want raised at the AGM, and who of our signed up members wish to run/rule JAFWA? Have you nominated yourself yet?

If you strongly feel that JAFWA is neglecting certain well-deserving anime, please offer to sponsor a night of JAFWA and screen your favourites. If you don’t want to sponsor an entire night like both Lindsay and Elliot did previously, there is the other scheme for our signed up members. On the night nearest your birthday, as Greg and Sally did, you can nominate something to play during the Dinner Break (limited to 30 minutes max). You may have to help us source this material, so plan and inform us in advance please.

Below is the draft program for the evening of Saturday Juky 12th, 2025.
