No Screening this Saturday, 1st March 2025

No JAFWA screening until Saturday 8^th February 2025!

As you have heard, there is no JAFWA this week, the first Saturday of March. Which is a pity as so many people turned up last session, both long timers and newcomers, so many that we ended up drawing 3 winners during the Door Prizes. It seems that the kami of anime were in favour of Collin, but in the end Karen just wanted it more.
BTW 22 February was known as Cat Day in Japan, as the date 22/2 can be pronounces as “nyan nyan nyan”, the onomatopoeia for a cat.

If you don’t want to sponsor an entire night like both Lindsay and Elliot did last year, there is the other scheme for our signed up members. On the night nearest your birthday, as Greg and Sally did, you can nominate something to play during the Dinner Break (limited to 30 minutes max). You may have to help us source this material, so plan and inform us in advance please.
