No JAFWA until Saturday 13th May 2023!
This Saturday, while you are all out there enjoying life without JAFWA (if you can call such a life “enjoyable”), you could always pop down to Cannington Bunnings for a sausage sizzle and a little exposure to JAFWA. For yes, this Saturday JAFWA is running the sausage sizzle stand, infusing them with anime goodness as it exudes from our otaku hearts. Trust me, they taste delicious!
May is almost upon us, and beginning in May through to September inclusive, we shall operate 1 hour earlier, to take advantage of the Night ascendant (after all, we are only 1 1/2 months from the Winter Solstice). Make certain to arrive for a 4:15PM start at JAFWA screenings from now on.
Also, the Bean Poll for which retro show to next screen was very, very close between “El Hazard”, “Steins;Gate 0”, and “Tenchi Muyo”. Winning by just a single vote (with a tie for 2nd place), we will be seeing the venerable second series of “Tenchi Muyo – Ryo-Ohki” in the upcoming retro timeslot.
And then in July it will be time for the AGM and JAFWA elections. Isn’t it time you stepped up and participated?
