Screening on Saturday 19th March 2022

Screening on the evening of Saturday, March 19th 2022

Last week’s Bean Poll to officially attempt an afternoon of of anime (ie a marathon screening from about 1PM) on April 23rd was overwhelmimgly positive. Even though this will be the same weekend as HoshiCon, more people wish to come to JAFWA.
Now the big question is, what do we screen during this marathon afternoon? The JAFWA committee has a few suggestions, mostly movies, that we are looking to source. However, more suggestions will be welcome – with the proviso that they be well-lit movies (as we will probably be competing with the afternoon sun) and family friendly in case families wander in. Hence the Goblin Slayer movie “Goblin Crown” is not an acceptable suggestion (but we are looking at screening it late some May night).

But for news of this week, we will have a preview episode that may be of interest to cosplayers and those who make cosplay outfits.
