No Screening on Saturday 6th March 2021

No JAFWA on the first Saturday of March (6th).

Life! that glorious thing called “Life” can be enjoyed and celebrated this week, and JAFWA will return on March 13th.

On March 3rd is Hinamatsuri the Doll festival in Japan, though you can find people in Perth celebrating it, such as BittaLime.
Forget not that in many cinemas is screening the “Demon Slayer” movie Mugen Train. All Screenings in Japanese with English Subtitles (though dubs may become available later).

Below is the tentative program for the evening of Saturday March 13th, 2021.

presuming the 2nd wave of the Pandemic progression does not cause them to cancel, as it has for other locales.

  • From Thursday February 25th 2021 — In cinemas the “Demon Slayer” movie Mugen Train. All Screenings in Japanese with English Subtitles (though dubs may become available later).
  • Saturday March 20th 2021, — Perth Japan Festival 2021, held Elizabeth Quay. Visit before coming to JAFWA.
  • Saturday April 17th 2021, 9AM-12PM — Nexus Toy Fair Victoria Park Leisure Centres – Aqualife and Leisurelife.
  • Saturday April 24th 2021, from 1:30PM — JAFWA’s next marathon length screening.
