Screening of Saturday 26th October 2024

Screening on the evening of Saturday, October 26th 2024

The month of October has simply raced by, and now we are at the end. Naturally that means it is time for JAFWA’s monthly survey, followed by a Member’s Prize draw.

The The Japanese Film Festival has come and gone in Perth, to the pleasure of attending Japanese culture fans (ahem otaku).

Your beloved JAFWA committee has re-arranged the program for the rest of the year so that as few as possible regular series are forced to take a long break over the end of year.
This week the “torture” returns and there will be two episodes of “Spice and Wolf”, as well as two episodes of “Zom 100” to improve your anime viewing.

Torture Princess

If you don’t want to sponsor an entire night like Lindsay did in March, and the one coming in November, there is the other scheme for our signed up members. On the night nearest your birthday, you can nominate something to play during the Dinner Break (limited to 30 minutes max). You may have to help us source this material, so plan in advance please.

And there is the end of year irregular screening to consider. What do you want to see in it?

Below is the draft program for the evening of Saturday October 26th, 2024.
