Screening of Saturday 12th October 2024

Screening on the evening of Saturday, October 12th 2024

While some parts of this country has gone to Daylight Savings, JAFWA has returned to its normal hours, where 5PM is a little too early and 11PM will see the place locked up. So rejoice that JAFWA has returned for October, and give thanks to the hard-working Librarian Kris and his Sun Disactivator.

Your beloved JAFWA committee has re-arranged the program for the rest of the year so that as few as possible regular series are forced to take a long break over the end of year. This will result in a few nights where we screen more than one episode of a particular series. Though we hope to sneak in a couple of preview episodes here and there.
This week will be two episodes of “Spice and Wolf”, as well as two episodes of “Zom 100” to improve your anime viewing.

Spice and Wolf
Zom 100

If you don’t want to sponsor an entire night like Lindsay did in March, and the one coming in November, there is the other scheme for our signed up members. On the night nearest your birthday, you can nominate something to play during the Dinner Break (limited to 30 minutes max). You may have to help us source this material, so plan in advance please.

And there is the end of year irregular screening to consider. What do you want to see in it?

Below is the draft program for the evening of Saturday October 12th, 2024.
