Synopsis

Kamisama Hajimemashita (Kamisama Kiss)

After her father runs away to escape his gambling debts and she is evicted
from their meagre apartment, Nanami Momozono finds a sudden change in her
fortune after rescuing a stranger from a dog. She is rewarded by being made the
diety of the local shrine, gaining a home, two cheerful servants and one very
snarky fox spirit.

Tonight’s Episode: “Tomoe Becomes a Familiar / The Diety Goes to a Mixer”

Two Stores in One Episode! First a trip several hundred years into the past,
where a morose and dejected Tomoe meets Mikage for the first time. The Earth
Diety brings him back to his shrine and finds he has been cursed by a former
diety. Tomoe reveals that the curse came about due to a promise to spend his
life with a mortal woman. And now that Yukiji is dead, its time for Tomoe to
die as well …Then in the second half of the show, Nanami finds herself
‘invited’ to a mixer on the weekend by Ueshima. Tomoe, of course, gets wind of
it and along with Mizuki and Kurama spies on the gathering to see just what is
going on.

Hyouka

Unable to say no to his elder sister, Oreki Hotaro joins his school’s
Classic Literature Club to prevent it from being shut down. And despite his
earnest desire to avoid expending any energy at all, the other members of the
club will drag him along on all manner of mysteries. Making good use of the
deductive skills he refuses to believe he possesses.

Tonight’s Episode: “What No One Noticed”

Fuyumi Irisu, the so-called Empress of Kamiyama High School, has invited
Hotaro to a tea house to talk. She wants an explanation of what was wrong with
each of the theories put forward by her fellow classmates. She draws attention
to the fact that the one who found the flaws in each of their theories was
Hotaro himself, just as she had expected him to. From the start it was Hotaro’s
skills she needed to solve this puzzle and now she presses the issue.

Preview Item: Ginga Kikoutai Majestic Prince

It is the year 2110. Mankind’s initial forays into space exploration are
crushed by an invading force of technologically superior aliens dubbed the
Wulgaru. Team Rabbits, an inexperienced five person unit from earth’s
spaceforce training academy, are assigned as the pilots for a set of
experimental, but extremely powerful, robots in a bid to turn the tide of the
ongoing war.

Tonight’s Episode: “Sortie”

At the GDF front-line base Undina, Earth’s forces are in disarray. The
allied navies attempting to defend the base are being overwhelmed by the
superior Wulgaru craft. Rather than lose all their forces in a battle they
cannot win, the decision is made to abandon the base. Commander Simon of the
MJP (the galactic secret service) is called upon to provide additional troops
to facilitate the evacuation. Their job will be to draw fire and allow the
other ships to retreat. Meanwhile Team Rabbits is participating in a mock
battle over Earth, and the results are not promising, Toshikazu Asagi tries to
handle the enemy squad on his own, Tamaki Irie follows him without thinking,
and Izuru Hitachi’s attempts to keep them together just results in three units
being taken out instead of two. Once again they have earned their nickname
“Fail Five”, and their instructor is not impressed.

Hanasaku Iroha

After Ohana’s mother and boyfriend run away to escape debtors, leaving her
behind, she moves into Kissuiso, the inn run by her grandmother Sui. Here she
discovers a world very different to the one she grew up in as the learns the
ins and outs of working at an inn and comes to know the people she now lives
and works alongside.

Tonight’s Episode: “The Return of “Die””

A surprise announcement, Enishi and Takako are getting married! Sui is
rather emotionless towards the news, but she does have one condition. In spite
of the costs involved, if they are to get married they must have a ceremony. Of
course, there’s a simple solution to the cost problem, hold the ceremony at
Kissuiso!

Uchyuu Kyoudai (Space Brothers)

As kids Muta and Hibito Nanba made a promise, that they would both become
astronauts. 19 years later Hibito is on the verge of fulfilling that promise
but Muta is not doing nearly so well, that is until he is accepted into the
astronaut training program.

Tonight’s Episode: “Running Bus”

It’s finally time for the third exam in the JAXA astronaut program. On his
way to the space centre Mutta reflects on the motivations and limitations of
himself and the other candidates he has gotten to know. Since Kenji has a
family, Mutta reasons that he may hesitate if asked to risk his life. Serika
has a definite goal and a strong sense of purpose. But as he thinks on it,
Mutta can’t think what it is that drives him on besides his dream of being an
astronaut, and now he’s not sure that’s good enough. So he stops by the
observatory to see aunt Sharon first, to get some encouragement.

Sword Art Online

VR technology has made full-immersion video games possible, and the latest
and greatest is Sword Art Online. But the players who logged in on the first
day find that logging back out may be a lot harder, and the challenges of the
game more than they bargained for.

Tonight’s Episode: “Crimson Killing Intent”

The challenge has been given and accepted. If Kirito can defeat Heathcliff
in a duel, he and Asuna are free. If he loses, Kirito must join the Knights of
the Blood Oath. So, in the town of Collinia on floor 75 the duel is to take
place. Many gather to watch the event. Asuna however, is not pleased with the
situation. Commander Heathcliff has a unique skill much like Kirito’s twin
blades, one that is so powerful he has never even been in danger in a fight. As
the two meet in the arena, Heathcliff apologises for the event turning into
such a spectacle. He also shows his absolute confidence in his victory. The
fight begins, and Heathcliff quickly demonstrates that his confidence is
justified. However Kirito does not intend to lose either.

Girls und Panzer

The students of Ooarai Girl’s High School are showing their skill at
Sensha-do (tank martial arts). With new transfer student and former Sensha-do
practitioner Miho Nishizumi to lead the way, they will pit themselves against
the best from other schools around the country.

Tonight’s Episode: “We’re Classmates!”

The climax of the battle between Pravda and Oarai. Both flag tanks are
blasted in the same instant. Oarai’s tank continues on, albiet with difficulty.
Pravda’s tank is down for the count. The girls have much to celebrate, and even
receive some grudging respect from Pravda’s diminutive commander. Miho’s mother
and elder sister were also observing the match from the audience seating, and
whilst her elder sister has praise for Miho’s lateral thinking and leadership
capabilities, her mother has no kind words. Only a command that her elder
sister must defeat Miho in the finals, and Blackforest Academy certainly has
the firepower to do it. Oarai is going to need another tank.

Shin Sekai Yori (From the New World)

A thousand years into the future all mankind possesses psychic powers, and
the people live in idyllic splendor. But the path that led to this tranquil
life was not so perfect, and the world that Saki and her friends live in may
not be as gentle and pleasant as it seems.

Tonight’s Episode: “Winter’s Distant Thunder”

Winter has come and the students are to divide into pairs to carry out their
various duties. Ryou asks Saki to be his partner but Saki has a problem with
that. She remember’s Ryou as being part of Group Two, not Group One. And why
does Ryou have different memories of their excursion beyond the holy barrier?
Something is not right. The next night, Saki dreams of a graveyard where a
disembodied voice asks if she has already forgotten him …

Shingeki no Kyojin (Attack on Titan)

The entirety of mankind lives encased within a series of fortified walls
which protect them from the Titans. giant humanoid monsters who devour people,
that roam the world beyond the outer wall. But now, after nearly a hundred
years of relative safety, new Titans have appeared.The security of the walls is
a thing of the past, and mankind may be facing extinction.

Tonight’s Episode: “That day: The Fall of Shiganshina – Part 2”

The gate of Wall Maria has been destroyed and the Titans have flooded into
the city. As people flee towards the safety of the inner wall in blind panic,
one street preacher marches defiantly in the opposite direction. Quoting his
scripture and calling out the state of mankind’s collective souls and the
punishment from god rendered on them. Eren meanwhile is just now coming out of
the shock from seeing his mother devoured. He assaults Hannes for saving him
and Mikasa whilst leaving his mother to die. Hannes counters that Eren could
not save his mother because he was too weak, but before Eren can strike him for
that he adds that he could not save her because he was too scared.

Psycho-Pass

In a future where the psychological profiling system Sybil determines your
place in society, or your removal for the good of society, new police force
recruit Akane Tsunemori finds herself facing both the challenge of catching
madmen loose in society, and of working alongside those deemed half mad
already. All the while dealing with the consequences of a society that will
lock you up or kill you for thinking bad thoughts…

Tonight’s Episode: “Rearing Conventions”

Kogami is finishing up a workout by tearing into a punching bag, once done
he grabs a drink and wanders into the next room. Here an illuminated wall is
covered in photos and notes. One picture in particular has Kogami’s attention,
a blurry indistinct photo of a white haired man in a crowd. The next day Akane,
Ginoza and their enforcers are heading for Hachiouji Drone Factory to
investigate the death of one Shioyama Daisuke, who was apparently killed by a
drone he was testing earlier that morning. The problem is that his is the third
death in less than twelve months, and given the nature of the factory’s work
schedule its possible a tester modified the drone’s program and made it look
like an accident.
