Synopsis

Kamisama Hajimemashita (Kamisama Kiss)

After her father runs away to escape his gambling debts and she is evicted
from their meagre apartment, Nanami Momozono finds a sudden change in her
fortune after rescuing a stranger from a dog. She is rewarded by being made the
diety of the local shrine, gaining a home, two cheerful servants and one very
snarky fox spirit.

Tonight’s Episode: “The God Becomes a Target”

Nanami awakens within the inner sanctum of her shrine and is struck by two
revelations. Firstly, the inner sanctum looks a lot more liveable than it did
the day before. Secondly, she forcibly kissed Tomoe. It turns out the two are
related. Since he is stuck as her familiar, Tomoe intends for Nanami to become
a god worthy of his service. Nanami meanwhile would like to return to her
normal life, especially now that a famous pop star has just transferred to her
school.

Hyouka

Unable to say no to his elder sister, Oreki Hotaro joins his school’s
Classic Literature Club to prevent it from being shut down. And despite his
earnest desire to avoid expending any energy at all, the other members of the
club will drag him along on all manner of mysteries. Making good use of his
superlative deductive skills.

Tonight’s Episode: “Activities of the Classics Club and
its Honor”

After an introduction to Oreki’s morning routine, and a recap of the letter
his sister wrote to get him into the Classics Club, we find Oreki and Chitanda
relaxing in the club room. Chitanda feels it’s a bit too uneventful, but when
Oreki asks her reasons for joining the Classics Club she repeats her previous
answer, that it was for personal reasons. She is however prepared to discuss
the club’s plans for the culture festival, the Classics Club has a long
tradition of producing an anthology for the festival, a tradition Chitanda
plans to continue.

Fairy Tail

Magic and mayhem in the world of Fiore. The members of the infamous mage’s
guild Fairy Tail spend their days sorting out problems for the residents of
Magnolia and battling the odd apocalyptic demon or dark guild. Of course they
don’t let little things like that get in the way of having fun.

Tonight’s Episode: “Gildarts”

Natsu dreams of himself as a child again, searching a misty forest for
Lisanna. The dream is unpleasant, but there’s more important things to worry
about now. Big news. An event so important the town bells ring out as notice to
everyone. Gildarts has returned!

Hanasaku Iroha

After Ohana’s mother and boyfriend run away to escape debtors, leaving her
behind, she moves into Kissuiso, the inn run by her grandmother Sui. Here she
discovers a world very different to the one she grew up in as the learns the
ins and outs of working at an inn and comes to know the people she now lives
and works alongside.

Tonight’s Episode: “Shijima’s Girl (Broken Heart MIX)”

The enemy has arrived! The Kissuiso Inn receives word that Satsuki will be
arriving any minute. Sui instructs the staff that her daughter is to be treated
just like any other customer. However she rules out the idea of Ohana handling
her mother. She also excludes herself as well, but that’s mainly because she
might not be able to resist the urge to slap her. Instead, she decides that
Nako will be in charge of the new guest. And first impressions suggest she will
be as much trouble as everyone feared.

Uchyuu Kyoudai (Space Brothers)

As kids Muta and Hibito Nanba made a promise, that they would both become
astronauts. 19 years later Hibito is on the verge of fulfilling that promise
but Muta is not doing nearly so well, that is until he is accepted into the
astronaut training program.

Tonight’s Episode: “My Shining Star”

Hibito is giving another interview, and although his UFO sighting is what
the reporter asks about he insists that’s not what was important about that
anecdote. Mutta meanwhile is still looking for work, his poor prospects set him
to thinking of the success of his younger brother and reminiscing about his
childhood. He’s been selected to sit the exams for becoming an astronaut but
his confidence is still not there.

Sword Art Online

VR technology has made full-immersion video games possible, and the latest
and greatest is Sword Art Online. But the players who logged in on the first
day find that logging back out may be a lot harder, and the challenges of the
game more than they bargained for.

Tonight’s Episode: “Beater”

A month has passed since the initial batch of players were locked inside the
game world. The death toll has risen, but the survivors are no closer to
clearing the game. However a meeting has been called, a group has finally found
the boss for the first floor dungeon and they want to organise the other
players into raid teams to try and bring it down. Kirito suddenly finds his
lack of friends to be a disadvantage as everyone else in the meeting quickly
teams up, then he spots one other person sitting on their own …

Girls und Panzer

The students of Ooarai Girl’s High School are showing their skill at
Sensha-do (tank martial arts). With new transfer student and former Sensha-do
practicioner Miho Nishizumi to lead the way, they will pit themselves against
the best from other schools around the country.

Tonight’s Episode: “Getting in the Tank!”

The students of the newly reopenned sensha-do club are not particularly
encouraged by the decrepid state of the one and only tank in the club’s garage.
However the student council assures them that the other tanks the club used
before it was discontinued are out there somewhere, they just have no idea
where. But the club’s instructor arrives in just two days and they need to have
five working tanks before then. Meanwhile Miho’s group has picked up a new
member, and she’s something of a fan of sensha-do.

Shin Sekai Yori (From the New World)

A thousand years into the future all mankind possesses psychic powers, and
the people live in idyllic splendor. But the path that led to this tranquil
life was not so perfect, and the world that Saki and her friends live in may
not be as genrtle and pleasant as it seems.

Tonight’s Episode: “The Vanishing Children”

A vast palace devoid of modern technology. It is five hundred years since
the first psychic event and the people hail the coronation of the Emperor of
Delight, the fifth of his line. The emperor desires adulation from his
subjects, adulation and sacrifice. Another five hundred years later Saki and
her friends attend school. reading a cautionary tale about an arrogant young
boy and the fate that befell him. But something far more enjoyable is coming
up; the team ball tournament. A chance to test their control of their Cantus
and compete against the other students.

Mawaru Penguindrum

Miracles! Mystery! Penguins! After a hat they purchased at the aquarium
brings their terminally ill sister Himari back to life, Shouma and Kanba
Takakura find the hat has a mind of its own and uses their sister’s body to
command them to seek out the “Penguin Drum” with the assistance of three
helper penguins… that no one else can see.

Tonight’s Episode: “Savior of the World”

An evening at a hot springs resort with a classmate is not helping to
improve Shoma’s mood, even when his friend mentions there might be a celebrity
staying in the room next to theirs. He feels bad about the way he brushed off
Ringo earlier that day, but a confusing phone message prompts Shoma to call
her. Whereupon his mood quickly goes from depressed to panicked. All this
youthfull excitement amuses Yuri, who reminisces about her own childhood and
how little love there was in it.

Toaru Majutsu no Index II (A Certain Magical Index II)

Life continues to be anything but dull for Index, the girl with over a
hundred forbidden grimoires sealed away inside her mind and Touma, her de-facto
guardian and the young man with the power to dispel any effect he touches with
his left hand. As rogue magicians, dangerous psychics and religious fanatics
all decide to make Academy City their personal battleground, Index and Touma
must strive to protect their friends and their home. Such misfortune!

Tonight’s Episode: “Serial Number”

Stiyl bursts in on the archbishop’s bath, demanding an explanation for an
order she has apparently signed. The archbishop does her best to avoid the
subject but Style quickly makes things … heated. Elsewhere the various rogue
catholic church members, now all under the protection of the Church of England,
struggle with the complexities of a modern washing machine. Meanwhile back in
Academy City, Touma thinks his troubles are over now that Misaka finally has
her Gekota phone strap when he is approached by Miska Clone 10032. She has had
her goggles stolen by Last Order, the miniature Misaka clone, and wants some
help getting them back.
