No JAFWA screening until Saturday 10^th October 2026!

BIG NEWS! JAFWA returns to its normal screening hours of ~5:15 to ~10:30PM.
Winter is over, and Spring is so far advanced that the Japanese Cherry trees on Collins Street have exhausted their Sakura blossoms.

BIG NEWS! JAFWA is not screening on October 3^rd, come back Oct. 10^th.
This week JAFWA is performing a Bunnings Sausage Sizzle down at Cannington. Please come along for support.

If you strongly feel that JAFWA is neglecting certain well-deserving anime, please offer to sponsor a night of JAFWA and screen your favourites. If you don’t want to sponsor an entire night like both Lindsay and Elliot did previously, there is the other scheme for our signed up members. On the night nearest your birthday, as Greg and Sally did, you can nominate something to play during the Dinner Break (limited to 30 minutes max). You may have to help us source this material, so plan and inform us in advance please.
