No Screening this Saturday, 4th April 2026

No JAFWA screening until Saturday 11th April 2026!

We are taking our once-a-month weekend off to refresh ourselves after the wonderful night of anime at the last JAFWA screening. The new anime season starts in April, and we are hoping to have a very fresh anime to preview if we can get it subtitled in time.

Not that we won’t be performing activities for JAFWA. Yes, we are having one of our Bunnings Sausage Sizzle fund raisers down at Cannington Bunnings this Saturday April 4th. Come along and enjoy the sausage in a bun.

Otherwise avoid going into a chocolate coma this Easter, and may you have clement weather.

If you strongly feel that JAFWA is neglecting certain well-deserving anime, please offer to sponsor a night of JAFWA and screen your favourites. If you don’t want to sponsor an entire night like both Lindsay and Elliot did previously, there is the other scheme for our signed up members. On the night nearest your birthday, as Greg and Sally did, you can nominate something to play during the Dinner Break (limited to 30 minutes max). You may have to help us source this material, so plan and inform us in advance please.

Below is the draft program for the evening of Saturday April 11th, 2026.
