Preview Item: Hataraku Maou Sama! (The Devil is a Part-Timer)

Having been thwarted in his attempts to conquer Ente Isla, the mighty demon
lord Satan escapes through a portal with his general Alsiel… And winds up in
modern day Tokyo with very little magical power left. His resources for world
domination now consist of a tiny rented apartment and a job at a fast food
restaurant.

Tonight’s Episode: “Devil King, Standing in Sasazuka”

On the mighty island Ente Isla, a land protected by the gods, the people
live in fear of the Overlord Satan. His armies have laid waste to the
surrounding lands in a war of conquest. But his forces have been pushed back by
a mighty hero and the combined armies of humanity. Defending his castle
stronghold with only one of his four generals left, Satan chooses retreat
before the forces arrayed against him. Promising his enemies that he and Alsiel
will return to reclaim what they have lost… Before materializing in a dark
alleyway in modern day Tokyo, to find that their magic is gone, noone
understands them, and their majestic demon forms have been reduced to that of
mere mortals.

Hyouka

Unable to say no to his elder sister, Oreki Hotaro joins his school’s
Classic Literature Club to prevent it from being shut down. And despite his
earnest desire to avoid expending any energy at all, the other members of the
club will drag him along on all manner of mysteries. Making good use of the
deductive skills he refuses to believe he possesses.

Tonight’s Episode: “Let’s Go to the Screening!”

An anonymous person is composing a text message, a reply to an early text
full of apologies. With the text sent our anonymous person now turns to an
online conversation, asking someone else for help. Their benefactor has a
suggestion on a group that just might ‘dance for them’. Finally, our mysterious
protagonist moves to a third conversation, again online. They have something to
show this third person, and it would be great if they could bring along, say,
three friends. They are, after all, a member of the Classics Club …

Fairy Tail

Magic and mayhem in the world of Fiore. The members of the infamous mage’s
guild Fairy Tail spend their days sorting out problems for the residents of
Magnolia and battling the odd apocalyptic demon or dark guild. Of course they
don’t let little things like that get in the way of having fun.

Tonight’s Episode: “Fly! To Your Friends!”

The revelations of just have deeply they were manipulated in their task of
finding the Dragon Slayer wizards and leading them back to Edolas leaves Carla
devastated and Happy furious. Declaring the both of them to be Fairy Tail
wizards, not pawns of the Exceed Queen, Happy grabs Carla and makes a run for
it vowing to rescue everyone from Fairy Tail. The two Exceed officials prompty
declare them ‘fallen’. With the royal guard in hot pursuit they make their
escape. Meanwhile in the dungeons of the capitol, Natsu continues to rage
against both the accusations against Happy and his inability to use magic, and
Lucy has finally regained consciousness, much to the dismay of her guards.

Hanasaku Iroha

After Ohana’s mother and boyfriend run away to escape debtors, leaving her
behind, she moves into Kissuiso, the inn run by her grandmother Sui. Here she
discovers a world very different to the one she grew up in as the learns the
ins and outs of working at an inn and comes to know the people she now lives
and works alongside.

Tonight’s Episode: “Love, Kourin Festival”

It’s the day of the cultural festival and Minko is already up. Ohana guesses
correctly she’s gone out to buy ingredients for the princess café and at
school she offers her help with the cooking, which Minko declines, repeatedly.
Meanwhile both Nako and Ohana can’t seem to get the thought of Omelette Rice
out of their heads.

Uchyuu Kyoudai (Space Brothers)

As kids Muta and Hibito Nanba made a promise, that they would both become
astronauts. 19 years later Hibito is on the verge of fulfilling that promise
but Muta is not doing nearly so well, that is until he is accepted into the
astronaut training program.

Tonight’s Episode: “Individual Resolve”

A space capsule is reentering earth’s orbit but there is a problem with its
chute deployment, the parachutes have become tangled. Mutta and Hibito are in
trouble as their pod rockets towards earth and the warning sirens blaring in
the cockpit … become the sound of the alarm on Mutta’s phone, drawing him out
of his unpleasant dream. As his plane approaches Japan, Mutta reflects on the
letters he found under Hibito’s bed. They were addressed to him and their
parents, a last will and testament. A common preparation by astronauts, but
still something that unsettles Mutta.

Sword Art Online

VR technology has made full-immersion video games possible, and the latest
and greatest is Sword Art Online. But the players who logged in on the first
day find that logging back out may be a lot harder, and the challenges of the
game more than they bargained for.

Tonight’s Episode: “The Blue Eyed Demon”

Teleport crystals at the ready, Kirito and Asuna push open the door to the
Boss Room. At first they see nothing, but then a series of torches are suddenly
lit up, revealing the towering form of the room’s occupant. Gleam Eyes. Merely
raising his huge sword is enough to get Kirito and Asuna running for their
lives. A short distance away they stop to catch their breath and reflect on
what little they learned of the boss. There seems to be few obvious strategies
besides bringing in a group of high ranking players and tagging in and out to
avoid fatalities. Kirito wishes for at least ten people with shields, which
prompts Asuna to question him about why he never uses one, despite having a one
handed sword.

Girls und Panzer

The students of Ooarai Girl’s High School are showing their skill at
Sensha-do (tank martial arts). With new transfer student and former Sensha-do
practitioner Miho Nishizumi to lead the way, they will pit themselves against
the best from other schools around the country.

Tonight’s Episode: “We’re in Deep Trouble”

A flashback of the Ooarai Student Council. They are receiving the shocking
news that due to the declining attendance, and lack of any special qualities,
their school is going to be shut down at the end of the year. The official
delivering the news pinpoints the beginning of their decline as the year they
discontinued the Sensha-do program. So just like that the president decides to
restart the program. They can’t possibly close the school that won the
championship, right? Cut back to the present and the council has just finished
explaining this to the other tank crews as they wait for Pravda’s deadline to
expire. Despite the long odds involved noone wants their school to close, so
they decide to fight on. The tanks need to be repaired and their engines kept
from freezing over. And of course, they need a plan …

Shin Sekai Yori (From the New World)

A thousand years into the future all mankind possesses psychic powers, and
the people live in idyllic splendor. But the path that led to this tranquil
life was not so perfect, and the world that Saki and her friends live in may
not be as gentle and pleasant as it seems.

Tonight’s Episode: “The Gale Came”

Shun has not been seen at school for four days in a row now. His friends,
driven mainly by Satoru, decide it is time to go look for him. His
dissapearance, and the cryptic messages he left before departing have left them
all with questions. For her part Saki still can’t forget what she saw inside
the egg Shun was trying to hatch. Of course, since they are all still students
they have good reason to worry about being caught looking into this matter. In
the end they split into two groups, Mami and Mamouru will ask around the school
whilst Saki and Satoru head for Shun’s house.

Mawaru Penguindrum

Miracles! Mystery! Penguins! After a hat they purchased at the aquarium
brings their terminally ill sister Himari back to life, Shouma and Kanba
Takakura find the hat has a mind of its own and uses their sister’s body to
command them to seek out the “Penguin Drum” with the assistance of three
helper penguins… that no one else can see.

Tonight’s Episode: “The Destination of Fate”

It is the day of the terrorist attack 16 years ago. Sanetoshi muses upon
what led him to pursue this course of events. Momoka has boarded the train and
confronts him, explaining that using the spell within her diary she will be
able to banish him out into eternal darkness and save the lives of everyone
else. Of course, only if Sanetoshi does not suceed in putting a curse on her
first. Back in the present day, Himari is again in hospital. According to the
doctors she has less than a day left to live. Sanetoshi and his medicine are
gone, the staff don’t even remember him. He is now focused solely on his
puppet, Kanba.

Psycho-Pass

In a future where the psychological profiling system Sybil determines your
place in society, or your removal for the good of society, new police force
recruit Akane Tsunemori finds herself facing both the challenge of catching
madmen loose in society, and of working alongside those deemed half mad
already. All the while dealing with the consequences of a society that will
lock you up or kill you for thinking bad thoughts…

Tonight’s Episode: “Crime Coefficient”

Atop a massive skyscraper an armed man, tangles with an opponent in a
strange helmet wielding an industrial circular saw. Despite a weapons
malfunction the gunman manages to defeat his opponent, ejecting him out one of
the windows of the skyscraper. At which point a third, white-haired man calmly
descends down the spiral staircase in the centre of the room. The two identify
each other, the white haired man is Makishima Shogo, the one with the gun
Kogami Shinya … New CID recruit Tsunemori Akane rushes through rain soaked
streets and the gathered crowd in front of a police barricade to meet up with
her superior Ginoza Nobuchika. They are looking for one Okura Nobuo. A man
flagged by a random psych profile as having an abnormally high Crime
Coefficient, and who responded to this news by taking a hostage and fleeing to
a section of the city where drones could not follow him. With the briefing out
of the way, its time for Akane to meet the department’s “hunting dogs” …

Kamisama Hajimemashita (Kamisama Kiss)

After her father runs away to escape his gambling debts and she is evicted
from their meagre apartment, Nanami Momozono finds a sudden change in her
fortune after rescuing a stranger from a dog. She is rewarded by being made the
diety of the local shrine, gaining a home, two cheerful servants and one very
snarky fox spirit.

Tonight’s Episode: “The God Goes to the Beach”

Summer approaches, the best time of the year! Nanami is sure to be
delighted, filling her days with plans for summer vacation with her friends.
Only, that isn’t what is happening. Still demoralized after realizing her true
feelings for Tomoe, and then getting shot down almost immediately, Nanami seems
to have no energy left. Not even bothering to eat lunch. Her situation with
Tomoe seems only to have worsened, and so to escape the depression Nanami
accepts Nekota’s invitation to go to the beach. Tomoe, unfortunately, has other
ideas. The beach is no place for an Earth Diety.

springs of the village and gotten Houtaro to come along in spite of his energy
conserving ways. Mayaka’s relatives own an inn in the area and since it’s being
renovated, they all get to stay for free. And after the food and the hot
springs, a vacation isn’t complete without an evening of ghost stories. In
fact, the Blue Mountain inn has a ghost of its very own …

Natsu and company have been captured by Nightwalker, the Edolas version of
Erza. Natsu and Wendy are thrown into a cell, and their captor taunts them with

them of Happy and Carla is even worse. He says that the two Exceed have
completed their mission, and that by now they are back in the Exceed homeland
receiving their reward. Meanwhile the Edolas Gajeel is snooping around the
giant Lacrima made up of the people of Fairy Tail, and his Earthland
counterpart observes the area perched on a tower not far away.

pleased. Then at school the next day, the class has decided to run a ‘Princess
Café’ for the cultural festival and Minko finds she has been volunteered as
one of the princesses, in charge of the kitchen.

Mutta is backstage at a US television station getting made up for his
appearance on live TV. The attention is making him nervous. Meanwhile the JAXA
selection committee has reconvened at Nimura and Hoshika’s insistance. Just as
they begin to make their case for choosing Mutta, another staff member rushes
in with the news that the man himself is on american television for having
foiled a robbery. Back at the US TV station, Ozzy is embellishing the story of
what actually happened.

Tonight’s Episode: “Black and White Sword Dance”

It has now been 2 years since the first batch of players were trapped inside
Sword Art Online. Having dispatched his latest adversary, Kirito takes a moment
to ponder the activities of Kayaba Akihiko, the creator of the game, before
returning home. Later Kirito finds himself strolling through a wooded area and
spots a small creature amidst the trees, a few precise throwing darts and he
has his prize, the meat of the Ragout Rabbit. An S-class rare item that causes
quite a stir with the merchant that he brings it to. The problem is, they can’t
think of anyone that has a cooking skill high enough to actually prepare the
meat. And then, Asuna happens to walk in the door …

laid back attitude to training in preparation for her next match, and reveals
the news that the head of the Ooarai team is a former member of the high
ranking Black Forest school team. Katyusha is shocked until she learns which
member of the Nishizumi clan it is, and then goes back to being nonchalant.
Ooarai meanwhile has a new tank to add to their team and a new tank crew as
well, the Disciplinary Committee has joined the Sensha-do club.

currently belong to another.

Instead Kanba is becoming more and more involved in his parents old terrorist
organisation, because Sanetoshi has informed him that the medicine for Himari
won’t work anymore, but there is another way to save her…

Kurama shows up to aggravate Tomoe, it becomes even harder to study. At that

classroom. It’s the girl Kurama saved from the ghost in the girl’s change
room. It seems shes having trouble building up the courage to actually thank
Kurama.

the shouting. Later in the clubroom, after Ibara gives Satoshi a verbal
thrashing for standing her up, Satoshi comments on the fact that Chitanda never
seems to lose her cool…

to go any further. As they part ways Edolas Natsu, like all the others, says
they cannot defeat the King and his army. But Natsu simply grins at him and
sets off …

Movie: Momo e no Tegami (A Letter to Momo)

Shy and imaginative 11-year-old Momo is having a hard time dealing with some
dramatic changes in her life; her father’s death and the resultant move from
Tokyo to live on the remote island of Shio. Before he died Momo’s father began
writing a letter to her, but got no further than “Dear Momo”. And now in her
new home, she tries to figure out what he had planned to write.

Led by Squealer and the remainder of the queen’s elite guard, Saki and
Satoru have arrived near the clearing where the bulk of the Ground Spider Army
has gathered. Before they can determine their next course of action, they are
detected and attacked by archers. Under Saki’s direction, Satoru tries
threatening their nest, but this only prompts a more aggressive assault with
catapault stones. Squealer flees, and Satoru is reaching the limits of his
Cantus abilities, finding it harder to focus his powers.

Ringo is approached by a tabloid reporter on the train, who has discovered
that the Takakura’s are not biological siblins. She does not react well. When
she mentions it to Himari, Ringo learns why the Takakura house is so garishly
painted. It was something Shouma and Kanba did to cheer Himari up after their
parents left. Himari meanwhile is troubled by the things Tabuki said whilst
trying to extract information from Kanba, about how he was getting the money
for her medication, so when he sneaks out of the house one night she follows
him …

Toaru Majutsu no Index II (A Certain Magical Index II)

Life continues to be anything but dull for Index, the girl with over a
hundred forbidden grimoires sealed away inside her mind and Touma, her de-facto
guardian and the young man with the power to dispel any effect he touches with
his left hand. As rogue magicians, dangerous psychics and religious fanatics
all decide to make Academy City their personal battleground, Index and Touma
must strive to protect their friends and their home. Such misfortune!

Tonight’s Episode: “Armed Group (Skill-Out)”

Awaki has run into Komaba Ritoku, leader of the Skill-Outs, before
Accelarator. Despite his calm approach she fully expects to end the fight with
a single blow, that is until he dissapears before her eyes. It seems Ritoku has
gotten his hands on some military grade gear that improves his odds of winning.
Accelarator meanwhile has dealt with all the Skill-Out members in his area of
the slums and starts heading towards Awaki’s location when Ritoku saves him the
trouble. Like Awaki before him Accelarator assumes he has Ritoku completely
outclassed, until the gang leader produces yet another high-tech gadget to even
the odds.

Its been two days since Nanami returned to her shrine, and she finds she is
still flustered by Tomoe’s kiss. But perhaps it’s not just embarrassing

acquaintance, Liz. Liz notes that Asuna is not on the front lines clearing

point Liz notes new earrings and guesses the purpose of her meeting. The very
next customer in her store is Kirito, looking for a custom made sword. Liz is
uncertain about his ability to pay but the power level of his current sword
uses astonishes her, and then his treatment of her finest blade infuriates
her.

Girls und Panzer

The students of Ooarai Girl’s High School are showing their skill at
Sensha-do (tank martial arts). With new transfer student and former Sensha-do
practitioner Miho Nishizumi to lead the way, they will pit themselves against
the best from other schools around the country.

Tonight’s Episode: “Anzio is Next”

Nishizumi, Akiyama and Isuzu have arrived at the hospital with a bouquet of
flowers, they arrive in time to find a very loud and fully awake patient.
Mako’s grandmother does not like being fussed over by her granddaughter. When
Mako explains that the three newcomers are friends from her Sensha-do club,
Saori tries to lighten the mood by mentioning that they won their first round
in the tournament. Grandmother is unimpressed. Their other attempts to praise
her granddaughter are also dismissed. But just before Nishizumi, the last one
out of the room, leaves, there are a few heartfelt words for her granddaughter,
and a plea to her friends to look out for her.

A thousand years into the future all mankind possesses psychic powers, and
the people live in idyllic splendor. But the path that led to this tranquil
life was not so perfect, and the world that Saki and her friends live in may
not be as gentle and pleasant as it seems.

Tonight’s Episode: “Getaway”

Having fled the assault on Squealer’s clan, and the poison gas pumped into
the clan’s nest. Saki and Satoru find themselves trapped after a cave-in. Saki
finds herself having strange hallucinations that eventually turn into a
recollection of her time at the temple of purity, and from there of her time at
school when she convinced Satoru they should compare their sacred (and secret)
mantras. Hearing Satoru muttering in his sleep she has an idea …

Mawaru Penguindrum

Miracles! Mystery! Penguins! After a hat they purchased at the aquarium
brings their terminally ill sister Himari back to life, Shouma and Kanba
Takakura find the hat has a mind of its own and uses their sister’s body to
command them to seek out the “Penguin Drum” with the assistance of three
helper penguins… that no one else can see.

Tonight’s Episode: “Thank You For Choosing Me”

In an unremarkable block of flats surrounded by other unremarkable blocks of
flats, the flaws of society are being listed by an impassioned speaker. The
elder Takakura intends to implement his own ‘survival strategy’ to change the
world for the better. Back in the present day, Shouma and Kanba have fended off
Masako’s attack on Himari. Masako still refuses to consider the three of them a
real family, but the experience has reminded Himari of something. Of the
crucial part Shouma played in her life ten years ago.

Life continues to be anything but dull for Index, the girl with over a
hundred forbidden grimoires sealed away inside her mind and Touma, her de-facto
guardian and the young man with the power to dispel any effect he touches with
his left hand. As rogue magicians, dangerous psychics and religious fanatics
all decide to make Academy City their personal battleground, Index and Touma
must strive to protect their friends and their home. Such misfortune!

Vento and Kihara have both been defeated and Touhma rushes to help Kazakiri
as she finally comes to. Kazakiri herself is a little less relieved, she can
see the devastation she caused by activating Testament and considers herself a
monster. Touhma however doesn’t let her wallow in misery, instead telling her
that her actions protected the people of Academy City. Accelerator meanwhile is
a little worse for wear, and once Index has left to find medical assistance he
receives a visit from some people in power armour. It seems they want to
recruit him for the defense of Academy City.

from their meagre apartment, Nanami Momozono finds a sudden change in her
fortune after rescuing a stranger from a dog. She is rewarded by being made the

snarky fox spirit.

Tonight’s Episode: “The God Loses her Home”

News of Nanami becoming the new earth diety, and getting to keep Tomoe as a
familiar, is slowly making its way through the spirit world. Narukami, the
Thunder Diety, having just learned the news decides to see wether or not Nanami
deserves that title. And wether she deserves to keep Tomoe. The Diety in
question, meanwhile, has overslept and is late for school again. Despite
Tomoe’s protests she sets off without eating his breakfast and without his
protective headband. Thunderclouds gather ominously on the horizon …

Unable to say no to his elder sister, Oreki Hotaro joins his school’s
Classic Literature Club to prevent it from being shut down. And despite his
earnest desire to avoid expending any energy at all, the other members of the
club will drag him along on all manner of mysteries. Making good use of the

Hotaro and Satoshi are heading back from Chitanda’s house, Hotaro’s theory
having explained the events surrounding the Classic’s Club and Chitanda’s
uncle. Satoshi asks why Hotaro put the effort into solving the mystery and
although he tries to blame Chitanda for it, he eventually admits that after
watching the other three give it their all, he wanted to try ‘wasting energy’
himself for a change. But then a chance mention of the Classics Club and
Sekitani Jun to his sister over the phone throws Hotaro’s theory out the
window…

in Yoruko’s back, thrown by an assailant several rooftops away. Kirito gives
chase but the assailant has a teleport crystal. Schmit is convinced it is
Griselda’s ghost come for revenge, but Kirito insists there must be a rational
explanation for how players are killed in a safe zone. He and Asuna discuss the
matter later that night on a park bench, when a dropped sandwhich sparks a
revalation …

Having figured out that Saunders Academy was listening in on their radio
transmissions Ooarai High has successfully lured two of their tanks into an
ambush Unfortunately for Saunders Academy they haven’t realized Ooarai are on
to them, and so nearly all of their team gets sent on another wild goose chase.
Of course this doesn’t do Ooarai a lot of good unless they find and take out
the enemy flag tank, and with only five tanks to their opponent’s nine (they
only managed to nail one in the ambush) that’s still not going to be easy.

Jormungand: Perfect Order – Preview Item

Child soldier Jonah continues his job as bodyguard to the eccentric arms
dealer Koko Hekmatyar. Allies are threatened and enemies start to pile on as
her plans for the mysterious “Jormungand” begin to take shape.

Kihara’s attempts to destroy the fleeing vehicle areinterrupted by a new adversary, who Kihara leaves to his soldiers. Tohma andLast Order only arrive at the scene after the fight is done, but before theycan depart more soldiers arrive to clean up the bodies.
