Screening

We hope you enjoyed the Christmas / New Year break and festivites, and are now eager to resume watching anime at JAFWA.
While we continue screening several regular series – “Restaurant to Another World”, “Made in Abyss”, “Lupin III”, and our popular retro series “Macross”, we hope to start 6 new regular series in January.

Based on the December survey, the following will becomes regular series to be screened at JAFWA starting in January:

  • Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable chapter
  • Knights & Magic
  • KonoSuba II / Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo! 2
  • Saga of Tanya the Evil / Youjo Senki
  • Sakura Quest
  • The Ancient Magus Bride / Mahou Tsukai no Yome

There is a small possibility that we won’t have “JoJo’ Bizarre Adventure” ready for this week, so we may instead show a long promised example of Chinese anime, in the form of “Quan Zhi Gao Shou” aka ???? ala “The King’s Avatar”. While JAFWA is typically focused on Japanese anime, one can lose perspective without the occasional comparison with an example of another country’s animation.
