Based on the December survey, the following will becomes regular series to be screened at JAFWA starting in January:

Dates of Interest

  • Thursday January 11th 2018 — Anime Arvo at Cockburn Library.
  • Saturday January 13th 2018 — JAFWA returns for 2018!
  • From January 18th 2018 — Mary and the Witch’s Flower is landing in cinemas across Australia.
    There seems to be only a single location where the movie will be in the original Japanese, with sub-titles, at Hoyts Carousel, all other cinemas seem to be showing the dubbed version. Now Luna Leederville seems to be saying their session will be subbed.
  • Friday January 19th to 21st 2018 — GenghisCon 2018 Trinity Residential College in Crawley (near UWA).
  • Saturday January 20th 2018, 9AM – 12noon — Nexus Toy & Collectables Fair Park Recreation Centre, cnr Kent and Gloucester Streets, East Vic Park.
  • Saturday February 17th 2018 — 10AM – 4PM, Intergalactic Stock Exchange Shed B Terminal, Peter Hughes Dr, Fremantle, Western Australia 6160.
  • March 3rd to 4th 2018 — Madman Anime Festival 2018 Forrest Place, Perth.
  • Saturday March 10th 2018 — from 11AM, Japanese Festival Matsuri 2018 Perth Convention & Exhbition Centre.
  • June 22 to 24th 2018 — Supanova, Perth.
