Synopsis

Little Witch Academia TV

Akko Kagari enrolls into Luna Nova Academy, a school for young witches, after being inspired at a young age by a witch named Shiny Chariot, and often spends her days hanging with her classmates, Lotte and Sucy. However, she has trouble paying attention in class, doesn’t know how to ride her broom, and is often looked down upon for admiring Chariot, whom many believe gives the wrong impression about witches.

This evening’s Episode: “Intellect and Sensibility”

In order to protect her family from her Aunt Daryl’s malice, Diana attempts to become family head and prepares for her ascension ritual, which can only take place once every few years during a Venusian eclipse, she is ambushed and encoiled by Daryl’s pet snakes. Akko, still believing that Diana doesn’t really want to leave Luna Nova midway, hears from Andrew about how Diana once lost her magical abilities until something rekindled her determination.

Made in Abyss

An orphan girl named Riko who lives in the town of Ousu on an island in the sea of Beoluska. The city surrounds a strange, giant hole going deep into the earth, which is commonly called the Abyss. The Abyss harbors artefacts and remnants of a civilisation long gone, and is therefore the popular hunting spot for so-called Cave Raiders, who undertake arduous and dangerous descends into the mist-filled pit to recover whatever relics they can find. However, the deeper one goes into the Abyss, the more one is afflicted by a progressively fatal malady called the Curse of the Abyss; few who have descended into the lower regions have returned to tell of their experiences.

This evening’s Episode: “Departure”

Upon reading the note from her Mother’s recovered gear, Riko decides to descend into the Abyss to find her mother Lyza. Reg also decides to accompany her since he believes that he will find answers to both his own identity and his lost memories in the Abyss. However, Nat openly opposes their plan, since he knows that if Riko goes to the bottom of the Abyss, the Curse of the Abyss will make her unable to return to the surface ever again.

Isekai Shokudou (Restaurant to Another World)

The Western Restaurant Nekoya is a restaurant situated in a mundane corner of an undisclosed Tokyo shopping district which, despite its name, offers a lot of Japanese dishes in addition to Western ones. It opens during usual business hours and closed during holidays and weekends. But secretly it is open on Saturdays, as on this particular day it creates doorways to another world inhabited by elves, dragons, animal men and other fantastic creatures, who enter the restaurant and partake on its menu, with all of them becoming regular patrons.

This evening’s Episode: “Pork Cutlet Rice Bowl / Pudding a la Mode”

The owner tells a story from the time of his grandfather, when a Lion Man named Lionel drew strength from the restaurant’s meals to rise above being a slave in the gladiatorial arena. And it turns out that he desserts menu for the Nekoya was written by an inhabitant of the other world.

retro series from 1982 – Choujikuu Yousai Makurosu (Super Dimension Fortress Macross)

In 1999 a city-sized alien spacecraft crashes in South Ataria Island on Earth. Over the course of 10 years the military organization U.N. Spacy reverse-engineers its technology and rebuilds the spacecraft, naming it the SDF-1 Macross. In 2009 at the launch ceremony of the Macross, a space war fleet from the alien Zentraedi arrives in the solar system and identifies the Macross as a former battleship used by their enemies. Mistakes happen. Thus begins the war between Human and Zentraedi, led by the brave crew of the Macross.

This evening’s Episode: “Bye Bye Mars”

After a few months of fighting, the Macross arrives at Mars. Detecting an abandoned base on the planet’s surface, the crew land the ship to gather much needed supplies. But is the Mars base abandoned?

Lupin III – part IV

The internationally infamous Arsène Lupin, master thief and unrepentant womanizer, continues to seek out ever more challenging heists to pull off. With him goes an eccentric band of misfits; Jigen the scruffy sharpshooter, Fujiko the femme fatal of dubious loyalty, and Goemon the stoic swordsman. And close on their heels no matter where Lupin and his gang end up, the unrelenting Inspector Zenigata. Determined to put Lupin and his cohorts in prison for the seemingly endless list burglaries and thefts they have already pulled off.

This evening’s Episode: “The Lovesick Pig”

Lupin is invited by both Fujiko and his estranged wife Rebecca to a party where the collection of a recently deceased famous wine collector will be put on sale. Can he accept both the invites and try to jump from one girl to the other during the party?

In the distant future, the discovery of the new mineral Orichalt has allowed humanity to expand beyond the Sol System. On the constant lookout for Orichalt, humanity has developed I-Machines, robots that operate in extreme environments. I-Machines function by transferring a human pilot’s consciousness into the robot’s operating system. While Alliance Academy student Maya Mikuri is in the middle of operating an I-Machine, she gets involved in an incident with pirates, and ends up serving as a crew member on an excavation company’s spaceship.

Tonight’s Episode: “Innocent Orbit”

Rick and other Stulti crew members arrive and retrieve Ido who is now trapped inside the dying Arisugawa clone body. Meanwhile the Federation has started confiscating all of the Orichalt within the Miguel net, planning to destroy the Rajeev, rather than abandon the use of Orichalt as a source of power and energy.

Preview item – Children of the Whales (Kujira no Kora wa Sajou ni Utau)

A boy named Chakuro lives on the giant vessel Mud Whale that drifts over the sea of sand. Chakuro and his friends have never seen anyone from the outside world, and they spend their days yearning to explore and learn about it. One day, a ruined ship suddenly drifts ashore, and Chakuro meets a girl inside.

This evening’s OAV: “It was the Entirety of Our Precious World ”

Zero kara Hajimeru Mahou no Sho (Starting the Magical Book from Zero/Grimoire of Zero)

Zero is a witch who is ignorant of the world and travels with a half-beast half-human mercenary who longs to be human. Witches and their sorcery are notorious throughout the land, though knowledge of the existence of magic remains elusive. Zero is going on a journey to search for a magical tome called “The Book of Zero” that hides a power that can destroy the world. The mercenary travels with her as her guard.

Tonight’s Episode: “The Truth Revealed”

The Mercenary finally breaks his way into the tower where Zero is being held, only to fall into a trap set by Thirteen. Meanwhile, Albus and Holdem are held captive by the surviving Sorcerers of Zero who receive word from their leader to prepare a spell powerful enough to kill Thirteen.

Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo! (God’s Blessing on this Beautiful World)

Kazuma Satou wasn’t looking for anything beyond his simple high school shut-in existence. But one untimely death later and he finds himself before the goddess Aqua with the chance to be deposited in a fantasy kingdom that is in need of heroes to defeat a demon lord. Things don’t look good from the moment he arrives and so Kazuma decides to ditch the whole “save the world” thing and just try to become rich and live comfortably. Unfortunately, the various eccentric companions he is saddled with aren’t really helping with that goal.

This evening’s Episode: “God’s Blessing On This Wonderful Shop!”

Kazuma and his adventure friends Keith and Dust go to a shop run by succubi who provide male adventurers with much needed relief by giving them erotic dreams. Meanwhile, a mobile fortress known as the Destroyer approaches town.

Re: Creators

Souta Mizushino is a young high school student and anime fan who dreams of writing his own light novel. While looking to an anime for inspiration, the iPad he is watching it on sputters and drags him into the anime’s world, where he witness a battle between the anime’s character Selesia and a mysterious girl wearing a military uniform. After returning with Selesia, Souta discovers that other characters from different stories and forms of media were also brought to the real world, with some of them aligned with the military uniform girl, who promised them the ways to end the strife in their worlds and a way back home, unaware of her true intentions.

Tonight’s Episode: “The Rain’s Rhythm Shoots Down on the World’s Roof I mean, I’m the CREATOR.”

Border World Colliseum begins and thousands of fans begin watching it. Altair’s group confronts S?ta’s and fighting ensues, though Altair may not be as trapped and unaware in the Birdcage as everyone hopes. Meanwhile, Souta is confronted by Magane while watching the fight from Nissan Stadium.
