As you have probably heard the new Fairy Tail movie “Dragon Cry” will be out in selected cinemas from Wednesday 18th May. JAFWA has scored some Admit Two passes, thanks to our friends at Madman, and will be giving them away as prizes this week. I wonder how many people will buy extra Door Prize tickets?

Tonight, we will have a preview item, the first episode of “Yuri!!! on Ice”, that so many people have mentioned.

Synopsis

Akagami no Shirayukihime (Princess Snow White of the Red Hair)

Shirayuki is a young pharmacist from the kingdom of Tanbarun who is cheerful, spirited and dedicated to her job. She also has brilliant red hair, which is very rare. When the first prince of Tanbarun decides to claim her unique beauty for himself, Shirayuki flees to the neighbouring kingdom of Clarines to start her life over. There may be eccentric nobility here as well, but there are also friends, and at least she can do her job.

Tonight’s Episode: “The Temperature of a Smile, a Cherished Place”

While Raji and his men return to Tanbarun to deal with the Pirates, Shirayuki and the others arrive at the Lions of the Mountains village, where a party is held to celebrate their victory. During their time together, Shirayuki learns why her father left her in the care of her grandparents and his history, including the reason why Kazuki had taken her.

Little Witch Academia TV

Akko Kagari enrolls into Luna Nova Academy, a school for young witches, after being inspired at a young age by a witch named Shiny Chariot, and often spends her days hanging with her classmates, Lotte and Sucy. However, she has trouble paying attention in class, doesn’t know how to ride her broom, and is often looked down upon for admiring Chariot, whom many believe gives the wrong impression about witches.

This evening’s Episode: “Don’t Stop Me Now”

Despite struggling to fly a broom properly, Akko becomes eager to enter the school’s traditional broom relay event after learning Chariot was one of the winners. Later, Akko goes with Lotte to a magic item café where they come across a legendary broom known as the Shooting Star that has been sealed off for being too temperamental.

Ore Monogatari! (My Love Story!)

Takeo Gouda is tall. No, Takeo Gouda is huge. He’s a high-schooler in a giant’s body. That’s been great for all the school sporting clubs he was part of, but less useful in his attempts to find love. But the real problem there is his handsome best friend Makoto Sunakawa, who ends up getting confessions from everyone Takeo likes. In fact it happens so often Takeo now expects it. And then one day, quite by accident, Takeo meets Rinko Yamato …

This evening’s Episode: “The Letter and Me”

Takeo comes across a girl named Yukika Amami, who has had a crush on Makoto since kindergarten, but hasn’t had the courage to talk to him for the past ten years. Upon being given an opportunity to actually speak to Makoto, Yukika has difficulty finding the right words and ends up blurting her confession immediately.

Tenchi Masaki appears to be an average high school student. But opening a forbidden chamber in his grandfather’s temple results in his life becoming complicated by several otherworldy female beauties, few of whom have friendly regards. From the people who worked on Bubblegum Crisis who asked what if Mackey (Sylia’s brother) was a main character, reversing the Bubblegum scenario.

This evening’s Episode: “Hello, Ryo-Ohki!”

Ryoko pulls an egg from the wreck of her ship and introduces it as her offspring. The egg hatches to reveal Ryo-Ohki, now in cabbit form. Ayeka discovers signs of Jurai present on Earth, and opens up to Tenchi.

preview item – Yuri!!! On Ice

After a crushing defeat in the Grand Prix Final and other competition losses, 23-year-old Japanese figure skater Yuri Katsuki develops mixed feelings about skating and puts his career on hold. Then his idol Russian figure skating champion Victor Nikiforov travels to Kyushu with an offer to coach Yuri and revive his figure-skating career. However Yuri Plisetsky, a rising 15-year-old Russian prodigy skater, seeks to make good on a promise by Victor Nikiforov yo choreograph a routine specifically for Yuri Plisetsky. The stage is set for the battle of the Yuris.

This evening’s Episode: “Easy as Pirozhki!! The Grand Prix Final of Tears”

Depressed by his string of losses, Yuri Katsuki unofficially retires. He returns home to his family’s hot springs resort, Yu-topia, in Hasetsu, Kyushu. As skating legend Victor Nikiforov wins his fifth consecutive World Championship, Yuri heads to the local ice skating rink to reconnect with his friend. He practices skating the routine that Victor won the Championship with to reignite his passion. His performance gets secretly recorded and uploaded to the internet, and goes viral.

ReLIFE

Kaizaki Arata is 27 years old and has held a full time job for a grand total of 3 months (quitting because it “wasn’t a fit for his talents”). He spends his days getting turned down at job interviews, lying to his friends about having a job, and moping around his apartment. When his parents finally get sick of sending him money he is thrown a lifeline by Yoake Ryou, a representative of the RELife Company. RELife gives jobless deadbeats like Arata a new lease on life… By giving them a pill that makes them look like teenagers again and having them repeat high school.

This evening’s Episode: “Everybody’s Selfish Desires”

Honoka reveals the reason she joined Aoba Highschool. Chizuru talks about her past and motivates Honoka to talk with Rena. But Rena runs away before Honoka can talk with her.

Yamada-kun to 7-nin no Majo (Yamada and the Seven Witches)

Ryuu Yamada’s, well deserved, reputation as a delinquent is no longer his biggest problem. After an accident on the stairs causes himself and the school’s top student Urara Shiraishi to swap bodies, the discovery of this strange ability makes his life a great deal more complicated. But for the gruff, friendless Yamada, spending some time literally in other people’s shoes might not be such a bad thing.

Tonight’s Episode: “Please Go Out With Me”

The race to find the seventh witch is on, but who is she and what is her mysterious power? Will Yamade be prepared to pay the terrible price for the answers?

Being teleported to a fantasy world means you’re the chosen one, right? Natsuki Subaru certainly thought so, but it seems he’s not the fated hero, he’s just another guy in a world full of wizards, warriors and demi-humans. Still, there are decent people in this world and Subaru quickly finds people willing to lend him a hand, people he wants to help in return. But how can a mere high school student hope to challenge the monstrous and magical forces of this world? After all he only gets one shot at this, right?

Tonight’s Episode: “A Wager That Defies Despair”

The armies become demoralized with the sudden appearance of three whales. While running with Crusch and watching the armies battle the whales, Subaru works out which of the 3 whales in the sky that needs to be attacked. But once it is on the ground, how can they finally defeat it? And will Natsuki be in time to rescue Emillia at the Roswaal mansion?

Attack on Titan (Shingeki no Kyojin) season 2

The entirety of mankind lives encased within a series of fortified walls which protect them from the Titans, giant humanoid monsters who devour people, that roam the world beyond the outer wall. But now, after nearly a hundred years of relative safety, new Titans have appeared. The security of the walls is a thing of the past, and mankind may be facing extinction.

Tonight’s Episode: “Soldier”

Two hours before the attack by the Titans at Castle Utgard, the 104th Trainees rest as their seniors keep watch. Connie mentions the Titan he encountered at his village resembled his mother, but Ymir plays it off. Reiner becomes suspicious when Ymir is able to read the unknown language on a food can. But shortly afterwards the Titans attack.

Affected by the magnetising effect of Mariah’s Stand Bastet, Joseph and Abdul try to get themselves detached from each other, facing all kinds of embarrassment in the process, only to wind up stuck on a railroad track as a train approaches…
Meanwhile, another Stand user, Alessi, sets his sights on Jotaro, Polnareff, and Iggy.
