Event Afternoon before JAFWA screening

JAFWA has the hall from 12:30PM to 4:30PM, where it is make our own amusement time.
There is possibly at least one sewing machine is coming along, for cosplay creation related purposes. We have some excellent sewers amongst the membership, who may be willing to impart their skills.

Does anybody have their own game machine and games they want their fellow JAFWAites to play? JAFWA will bring out the projector and screen.

These are just a couple of suggestion. What do you want to do?

Screening

Below is the program for November 21^st, 2015.

Movie Night! – come in anime cosplay for free entry. At the end of the night we will be screening the “PsychoPass” movie, made by the people who did the first series. We will need to put our Late Break early to fit it in the 113 minutes of dystopian/utopian future.

Hopefully this will distract you from the fact that a couple of regular items are finishing this week. Though in the case of “Kamisama Hajimemashite” we provide evidence that there is more to come.

A reminder that on the weekend of December 5th, there will be a bonus JAFWA screening after Westlodge.

Synopsis

Kamisama Hajimemashita, 2nd Season

Momozono Nanami continues to serve as the Earth Deity of the Mikage Shrine, and the fox spirit Tomoe continues to serve as her familiar. Their feelings for each other are becoming harder to ignore, but Nanami’s duties as an Earth Deity won’t wait. And an old friend of Tomoe’s is starting to stir up trouble.

Tonight’s Episodes: “The Deity Receives a Marriage Proposal” (Finale)

Whilst Akura-oh has tracked down his body in the Netherworld, his merciless nature seems to have softened a bit since he shatters his gateway into the Netherworld to protect Kirihito’s mother. Tomoe, meanwhile, is getting to see Nanami’s mother. The customary visit to the deity of the New Year requires the visitors to relive the past twelve years. For Nanami that is most of her childhood, and although it is taboo Tomoe and Mizuki have entered Nanami’s gateway to see what is keeping her. And found their deity reliving the time before her mother passed away …

Fairy Tail 2014

Magic and mayhem in the nation of Fiore. The members of the infamous mage’s guild Fairy Tail spend their days sorting out problems for the residents of Magnolia and battling the odd apocalyptic demon or dark guild. Of course they don’t let little things like that get in the way of having fun.

Tonight’s Episodes: “Fairy Tail vs the Executioners“

Things are looking grim for Natsu and the others imprisoned in the underground Palace of Hades. It seems this place is not a death sentence because there’s no way out, but because the secretive government assassination squad of Fiore, the Hungry Wolf Knights, cleans up the ‘criminals’ dropped into this place. And now, despite a team effort by her and Natsu, Wendy looks to have become the first of the group to be dispatched. Swallowed whole by a carnivorous plant.

A cheerful snowy day at the Mikage Shrine takes a decidedly dark turn when the Shrine’s Torii gate crumbles. Tomoe’s power, which sustained the shrine, has faded. For Tomoe himself has been struck down. The long absent Mikage returns just in time to deal with the catastrophe, but even he cannot cure Tomoe. He bears the scars of an old curse, and an old pledge …

Shirobako (White Box)

Aoi Miyamori and her four friends made up the Animation club at their high school, and all five of them aimed to go into the Anime industry after graduation. Now Aoi, like her friends, has made her dream come true. She works for Musashino Animation, a little studio in Tokyo. The job comes with all sorts of challenges and stresses but Aoi wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t something she wanted to do.

Tonight’s Episodes: “Just One More“

There’s a lot of people having problems at work right now. Toudou is finding the repetitive nature of her work at Super Media Creations stifling. Shizuka gets scolded for being overeager with a crowd voice part. And of course there’s Aoi and the rest of Musashino Animation. There are now serious doubts about whether Director Seiichi can finish the storyboards in time, while the directors are trying to win new work on the basis of a problem-free run for Exodus! But now finally, finally, the director has his inspiration and can finish the story.

Ansatsu Kyoushitsu (Assassination Classroom)

The students of Class 3E are the lost causes of Kunugigaoka Junior High. But they have been given one last chance to redeem themselves. Their new teacher is not human, he’s a monster that blew a hole through the moon and now threatens to do the same to Earth in twelve months’ time. If the students can manage to kill him before then, they get 10 billion yen and the gratitude of the worlds’ governments. So, it’s time to assassinate the teacher! Which is kind of a shame, because he’s a really good teacher.

Tonight’s Episodes: “Nagisa Time” (Finale)

The mystery attacker is revealed to be Takaoka. Their brutal one-day-only PE instructor has gone insane; blaming the students, Nagisa in particular, for getting the better of him and destroying his credibility. And now, he has shown just how monstrous he is. Collecting the bounty on Koro-sensei seems to have been forgotten entirely as Takaoka destroys the cure for the virus he infected half the class with just to drive Nagisa into a murderous rage and make him pick up the knife at his feet.

Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works

Shirou Emiya, a high school student and amateur magus living in Fuyuki City, finds himself a participant in the Fifth Holy Grail War. A secret tournament between mages and their servants, reincarnated heroes and legendary figures, to claim the Holy Grail; a chalice that can grant any wish.

Tonight’s Episode: “A Destiny Forged in the Beginning“

Archer’s double-cross of Rin was, it seems, an elaborate triple-cross. With Caster distracted and not paying attention to him, he is able to get the church, Caster’s new base, destroyed and draws Caster into sacrificing herself to protect her master Kuzuki. Not that it ends up doing much good as Kuzuki is finished off by Archer moments later when he tries to see Caster’s ambition through to the end. But Archer hasn’t finished. As Shirou tends to the weakened Saber, Archer traps Rin and declares his intention to kill Shirou.

Psycho-Pass: The Movie

Four years after the death of Makishima Shougo and the disappearance of Enforcer Kougami, Japan has begun to export the Sybil System to other countries. But after a trial system in the South East Asian Union (SEAUn), Akane Tsunemori and her team find SEAUn terrorists slipping into Japan in order to carry out attacks. And her investigation will bring her to the SEAUn capitol, the artificial island Shamballa Float.
