• Saturday June 20^th – JAFWA’s next Event Afternoon, where we have the hall before JAFWA (from ~12:30PM to ~4:30PM) and make our own entertainment.

Synopsis

Fairy Tail

Magic and mayhem in the nation of Fiore. The members of the infamous mage’s guild Fairy Tail spend their days sorting out problems for the residents of Magnolia and battling the odd apocalyptic demon or dark guild. Of course they don’t let little things like that get in the way of having fun.

Tonight’s Episode: “Grudges are Wrapped in the Silence of the Night“

The battle between Kagura and Yukino proved to be tremendously one-sided, although not in the way anyone expected. Kagura defeats Yukino’s celestial spirits, including the heretofore unknown 13th spirit Ophiuchus, without even unsheathing her sword. The battle does, however, delight Arcadios. The Captain of the Guard now has another celestial spirit wizard, aside from Lucy, he can try to kidnap. And this one is getting thrown out of her guild.

Log Horizon season 2

Life continues for Shiroe and the others trapped within the world of Elder Tale. The city of Akihabara is now prosperous and thriving thanks to the efforts and innovations of the adventurers. But prosperity does not guarantee safety, Shiroe’s skills have already been tested against the nefarious Nureha and her guild Plant Hwyaden, and now he must find a way to secure Akihabara’s future against those who would seek to claim it for themselves.

Tonight’s Episode: “Kanami, Go East“

Log Horizon’s newest member, Tetra, previously worked with one of the members of Plant Hwyden; Kazuhiko. He, and others in Plant Hwyden, were part of the infamous Debauchery Tea Party with Shiroe, Nyanta and Naotsugu. But none of them were the leader of that eclectic group. That dubious honour belonged to a player called Kanami. And it turns out that the eternally optimistic, rambunctious Kanami is in Elder Tale as well. She’s currently on the China server …

Amagi Brilliant Park

Amagi Brilliant Park is an amusement park, a place of magical wonder and whimsy. Or at least it’s supposed to be. The park has fallen on hard times and that’s bad news for the staff. Who genuinely are magical. There’s no place for these oddballs from a fantasy world except an amusement park, so they need theirs to stay open. That’s where Kanie Seiya comes in, a pompous high school student and burned out child star is the perfect person to manage this particular mad-house.

Tonight’s Episode: “Not Enough Visitors”

Sentou Isuzu, it seems, has a rather forceful technique for asking boys out on dates. And Kanie Seiya finds himself with little choice other than to agree. Nor is he particularly pleased with their destination, the run-down Amagi Brilliant Park. He does, however, notice that Sentou is rather knowledgeable, both about the park itself and about the terminology used by theme park staff.

D-Frag!

Kazama Kenji goal in life was simple; become a famous and feared delinquent. Instead he finds himself mixed up with his school’s struggling Game Development club and its various … eccentric … members. Yet the harder he tries to get away from them, the more he finds himself running into the other crazies in his school.

Tonight’s Episode: “Tama-senpai, Long Time no See”

The Game Dev Club (Provisional) and Takao have now met, and traumatized, Ken’s little sister. But Ken may have a bigger problem. Someone has been spying on his interactions with the rest of Roka’s club, someone with a grudge to settle. Her name is Tama, a third year student. Her grudge is with Ataru, but she has already picked Ken as the club member to go after.

Movie – Mouretsu Uchyuu Kaizoku – Aku no Shin’en (Bodacious Space Pirates – Abyss of Hyperspace)

Life as a space pirate continues to be a hectic juggling act for Kato Marika. Her school studies and school club duties on the one hand, especially now that her seniors are all graduating and the club’s membership is starting to decline, and her role as captain of a pirate vessel and owner of a Letter of Marque on the other. Even school break is no chance to relax or sleep in, the Yacht Club is doing its best to attract new members and the Bentenmaru and its crew have a job. But then the insurance company calls to let them know their staged Cruise Ship raid has been cancelled, their style is no longer as popular as it once was with rich thrill-seekers. On top of that, there’s been a lot of instabilities and problems with travel through hyperspace just recently …

Shingeki no Kyoujin OVA (Attack on Titan OVA)

The entirety of mankind lives encased within a series of fortified walls which protect them from the Titans, giant humanoid monsters who devour people, that roam the world beyond the outer wall. But now, after nearly a hundred years of relative safety, new Titans have appeared. The security of the walls is a thing of the past, and mankind may be facing extinction.

Tonight’s Episode: “No Regrets, Part 2“

Levi and his two subterranean companions, Farlan and Isabel, have now been accepted into the Recon Corps, although not all of the commanders agree with Erwin’s decision. The three have joined under the pretense of Erwin getting their criminal records cleared, when in truth they are there to kill Erwin and recover documents for their mystery employer, who is promising them full surface citizenship. For Levi it’s not a difficult choice as he doesn’t much like this Recon Corps officer.

Akame ga Kill

Tatsumi was hoping to find enough money in the capital to save his poverty stricken village, what he found instead was corruption and slaughter. The prime minister is the power behind the throne, manipulating the infant emperor for his own gain, and the common folk of the empire suffer under his reign. A group of assassins known as Night Raid prowl the city, leaving a trail of corpses in their wake. But as Tatsumi quickly discovers, they may be the only hope the empire has.

Tonight’s Episode: “Kill the Absolute Justice“

Tatsumi turned out not to be a good match for Zank’s Imperial Arm Relic. He does, however, brush up on his knowledge of known Imperial Arm Relics … and then runs into the Imperial Guard who owns one of those very relics; Seyru, a self-proclaimed champion of Justice who believes the deceased Captain Ogre, whom Tatsumi assassinated, was a good guy who needs to be avenged.

Danganronpa

Hope’s Peak Private Academy is a famous boarding school, known as a place for students who are the best in their field. When the unremarkable Makoto Naegi wins a lottery to enter the school he and fourteen other new students find the horrible truth hidden within; Hope’s Peak is a prison, and the only way out is to kill one of the other inmates without getting caught.

Tonight’s Episode: “Goodbye, Despair High School” Finale

Despite Monobear’s efforts to tamper with evidence and set the remaining students against each other, Naegi has already figured out both who killed Mukuro and who the mastermind is. It is Enoshima Junko, the Super Duper High School Model. She had Mukuro impersonate her from the very start and then killed her so no one would ever suspect Enoshima was the mastermind. But with her identity revealed, it seems she has finally become talkative. The truth behind Despair High School will finally be revealed.
