Synopsis

Fairy Tail

Magic and mayhem in the nation of Fiore. The members of the infamous mage’s guild Fairy Tail spend their days sorting out problems for the residents of Magnolia and battling the odd apocalyptic demon or dark guild. Of course they don’t let little things like that get in the way of having fun.

Tonight’s Episode:Elfman vs Bacchus

It turns out motion sickness is something that all Dragon Slayers suffer from as Natsu, Gajeel and Sting all finish bottom in the Chariot contest. Natsu’s explanation for why Fairy Tail is participating finally wins them some crowd support, but the notion of doing things for friends apparently disgusts Sting. Chariot’s winner, Bacchus, was a late entrant into the games and old rival of Erza’s. The king of Fiore requests he be pitted against Elfman and the Captain of the Guard is happy to oblige, but he seems to have more going on than just obeying his king …

Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun (Monthly Girl’s Nozaki-kun)

High school student Sakura Chiyo has a serious crush on her tall, stoic schoolmate Nozaki Umetarou. But when she finally plucks up the courage to tell him she always wants to be with him, she finds herself employed as his assistant. Turns out Nozaki is a shoujo manga artist, and by working alongside him Sakura gets to see her high school crush in action … and see the not-so-perfect inspiration for his stories.

Tonight’s Episode:If This Feeling Isn’t Love Then There is No Love in the World” Finale

After a day of having Nozaki continuously coming up with ways to “surprise” her, followed by Nozaki using his three male friends and manga assistants as inspiration for a girl’s sleepover episode of his manga, Sakura spots the Valentine’s Day present she has in the fridge. The present she got for Nozaki but then never actually managed to give to him on the day.

Log Horizon season 2

Life continues for Shiroe and the others trapped within the world of Elder Tale. The city of Akihabara is now prosperous and thriving thanks to the efforts and innovations of the adventurers. But prosperity does not guarantee safety, Shiroe’s skills have already been tested against the nefarious Nureha and her guild Plant Hwyaden, and now he must find a way to secure Akihabara’s future against those who would seek to claim it for themselves.

Tonight’s Episode:Retry

Although he struggles at first, William finds the words to inspire his guildmates to return to the battle. They are a Raid guild, and beating difficult Raids is what they do. It’s why they started playing Elder Tale, it’s what brought them together as a Guild. Even when Demikas counters that this battle is unwinnable, William talks about his own cowardice when asked to join Akihabara’s Round Table, and how Shiroe and the others accomplished what he assumed was impossible. But this raid isn’t impossible, Shiroe has a plan … although the chances of victory are only about 15%.

Ansatsu Kyoushitsu (Assassination Classroom)

The students of Class 3E are the lost causes of Kunugigaoka Junior High. But they have been given one last chance to redeem themselves. Their new teacher is not human, he’s a monster that blew a hole through the moon and now threatens to do the same to Earth in twelve months’ time. If the students can manage to kill him before then, they get 10 billion yen and the gratitude of the worlds’ governments. So, it’s time to assassinate the teacher! Which is kind of a shame, because he’s a really good teacher.

Tonight’s Episodes:Assassination Time

Class 3E sits silently in their classroom. The shockwave of his landing signals that the teacher has arrived, and a few moments later he enters and begins taking attendance; while an entire classroom opens fire on him with an array of guns. With attendance taken, and the teacher completely unharmed, the students complain about the ineffectiveness of their weapons. Until their teacher explains that whilst they aren’t lethal to humans the weapons would actually kill him, if they had managed to hit him.

D-Frag!

Kazama Kenji goal in life was simple; become a famous and feared delinquent. Instead he finds himself mixed up with his school’s struggling Game Development club and its various … eccentric … members. Yet the harder he tries to get away from them, the more he finds himself running into the other crazies in his school.

Tonight’s Episode:That’s Dirty!

After an unpleasant introduction to Shiou Hachi, the Game Dev Club (Provisional)’s only other male member and Roka’s unwanted admirer, Ken quickly challenges him to a fight. And just as quickly the whole thing balloons out of control into a Battle Royal for possession of Roka’s ‘Bag of Darkness’ (Shiou, it seems, is as big a masochist as Ataru). The first round ended with most of the unimportant characters knocked out of the contest, and with Ken himself knocked out by a ballistic zipper. So once Ken wakes up, his next battle can begin.

Noragami (Stray God)

Hiyori Iki is introduced to the world of spirits and deities after her first encounter with Yato, a homeless war god, results in a near death experience. Now Hiyori needs the ambitious Yato to help stop her soul from disconnecting from her body, but a god who doesn’t even have a shrine, let alone worshippers, doesn’t really inspire much confidence.

Tonight’s Episode:Regarded With Hate

Whilst Tomone, Yato’s previous Regalia, is willing to help with the ritual ablution to cleanse Yuki and heal Yato, the search for a third does not go well until Hiryori takes a serious risk and goes to Bishamon’s shrine begging Kazuma for help. The process nearly fails completely as Yuki refuses to accept the blame for his own actions, until he is reminded of the things he jeopardized with his behaviour; his friendship with Yato and Hiyori. But Yuki’s purification does not end their problems. Nora is still out there … and she has a companion.

Sword Art Online 2

It has been a year since the victims of Alfheim Online were freed from their virtual prison, and more than a year since Sword Art Online was shut down. But now it has begun once again. A mysterious figure has been making appearances in the game Gun Gale Online, and other players drop dead in their wake. Kirito finds himself once again risking his life in the online world.

Tonight’s Episode:King of Giants

After assembling his party Kirito finds the rest of ALO’s players already hunting for Excalibur, but siding with the Frost Giants. One of the three remaining Hill Giants reveals that the Frost Giant King Thrym has been recruiting players, with the false promise of Excalibur, in order to complete his conquest of Jötunheimr and continue on up to Alfheim. Such a major world change occurring without the player base being warned would seem unlikely, but ALO (like its predecessor SAO) is meant to evolve independent of the System Administrators…

Akame ga Kill

Tatsumi was hoping to find enough money in the capital to save his poverty stricken village, what he found instead was corruption and slaughter. The prime minister is the power behind the throne, manipulating the infant emperor for his own gain, and the common folk of the empire suffer under his reign. A group of assassins known as Night Raid prowl the city, leaving a trail of corpses in their wake. But as Tatsumi quickly discovers, they may be the only hope the empire has.

Tonight’s Episode:Kill Your Worries

Tatsumi is now officially a member of Night Raid. He has completed his training with Akame, in spite of being a poor fisherman, and completed his first successful assassination, dispatching the corrupt “Captain Ogre”. Night Raid’s position as the Special Forces unit of the Revolutionary Army assuages his concerns about becoming an assassin. Next he will have to make it through the training regime of Mine, the Night Raid member that seems to despise him the most. But first, there are some government assassins to take care of.

Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works

Shirou Emiya, a high school student and amateur magus living in Fuyuki City, finds himself a participant in the Fifth Holy Grail War. A secret tournament between mages and their servants, reincarnated heroes and legendary figures, to claim the Holy Grail; a chalice that can grant any wish.

Tonight’s Episode:A Winter’s Day, A Fateful Night

A city in flames. A small child in the midst of the fire looks at the devastation around him and then falls down and waits for the inevitable end, and a burning piece of masonry descends upon him… In a plain grey room packed with boxes, Shirou Emiya sleeps on a tarp surrounded by tools and assorted bits of equipment. He is awoken by a young woman named Sakura, who calls him in for breakfast. It’s the start of another normal school day …
