Synopsis

Fairy Tail

Magic and mayhem in the nation of Fiore. The members of the infamous mage’s guild Fairy Tail spend their days sorting out problems for the residents of Magnolia and battling the odd apocalyptic demon or dark guild. Of course they don’t let little things like that get in the way of having fun.

Tonight’s Episode:And So, We Aim For The Top

Makarov has revealed to Gildarts the hidden secret beneath Fairy Tail’s old guild hall, because he intends for Gildarts to be the next master. The mysterious Sting and Rogue, it turns out, are members of the new top guild Sabertooth. As well as both being Dragon Slayers. And whilst Rogue is not interested, Sting is keen to challenge Natsu and show he is the stronger. Natsu meanwhile is doing something rather uncharacteristic; cleaning the new guild hall’s backyard. Of course, that state of affairs can’t last long at Fairy Tail.

Barakamon

Seishuu Handa is a new rising star in the world of professional, artistic, calligraphy. But when his pride and temper land him in trouble, he finds himself cooling his heels on the quaint little island of Gotou. Seishuu quickly finds the island’s residents to be both infuriating and invigorating in equal measure. Especially the diminutive Naru Kotoishi.

Tonight’s Episode:Okega Makucchi Shita (Almost Got Badly Hurt)

Despite some difficulties, Handa’s present for Naru was pretty well received. But with that out of the way his focus is back on the Naruka Competition, which is only two weeks away. Stress and frustration make his calligraphy worse, a nice relaxing bath should clear his head and remove some of that stress. Unfortunately, the bath is broken. Luckily Handa’s house has a backup; a wood-fire stove to heat the bath. But the smoke from the fire draws others …

Preview Item – Inou-Battle wa Nichijou-kei no Naka de (When Supernatural Battles Became Commonplace)

The members of the literature club used to just be ordinary high school students; coming to school, attending classes, going to the club after classes and then going home. But then one day, amazingly, they found themselves gifted with super powers! So naturally … absolutely nothing changed.

Tonight’s Episode:Change Alpha

To Kanaki Tomoyo, it seemed like just an ordinary day. She headed to the Literary Club as usual, ignored Andou’s antics as usual, and then watched him humiliate himself in front of the other club members as usual. Still, Andou won’t give up on his dramatics, refusing to submit to the dreary and unimaginative world view of the rest of the club (reality, as most people would call it). After all, how can anyone be 100% certain they won’t suddenly be gifted with super powers?

Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun (Monthly Girl’s Nozaki-kun)

High school student Sakura Chiyo has a serious crush on her tall, stoic schoolmate Nozaki Umetarou. But when she finally plucks up the courage to tell him she always wants to be with him, she finds herself employed as his assistant. Turns out Nozaki is a shoujo manga artist, and by working alongside him Sakura gets to see her high school crush in action … and see the not-so-perfect inspiration for his stories.

Tonight’s Episode:Say Hello to the New Heroine

Sakura may not have managed to confess her feelings for Nozaki, but she has become his assistant. Which means she spends a great deal more time with him, and also gets to meet some of the other colourful characters that serve as the inspiration for his work. Such as Mikoshiba Mikoto, Mikorin for short, Nozaki’s friend and first assistant. Although it takes a moment before Sakura sees what part of this mean looking playboy Nozaki is using as inspiration.

Log Horizon season 2

Life continues for Shiroe and the others trapped within the world of Elder Tale. The city of Akihabara is now prosperous and thriving thanks to the efforts and innovations of the adventurers. But prosperity does not guarantee safety, Shiroe’s skills have already been tested against the nefarious Nureha and her guild Plant Hwyaden, and now he must find a way to secure Akihabara’s future against those who would seek to claim it for themselves.

Tonight’s Episode:The Outlaw and Mythril Eyes

The Kunie Clan, the NPC group that controls all of Elder Tale’s banks, has once again refused to aid Shiroe in his efforts to secure Akihabara financially. Fortunately the knowledge of Regan, the Sage of Miral Lake, and the Kunie Clan’s hints are enough for Shiroe to guess there is a massive high-level raid hidden in the depths of Palm that could solve Akihabara’s problems. Now he needs a group to do the raid with him, one that isn’t being watched by Plant Hwyaden or still busy mopping up the Goblin King’s forces. But he has a good idea where to look.

Noragami (Stray God)

Hiyori Iki is introduced to the world of spirits and deities after her first encounter with Yato, a homeless war god, results in a near death experience. Now Hiyori needs the ambitious Yato to help stop her soul from disconnecting from her body, but a god who doesn’t even have a shrine, let alone worshippers, doesn’t really inspire much confidence.

Tonight’s Episode:Snow Like

Hiyori is still coming to terms with the fact that she can now see phantoms and that her soul disconnects from her body from time to time. Seeing how she only ended up like this because she tried to save Yato, it would be great if he could hurry up and fix it. But he has his own problems. With Tomone having quit he has no Regalia, no weapon with which to battle the malevolent spirits that come to earth from the Far Shore, and that’s a bit of a problem for a ‘War’ god.

Sword Art Online, Season 2

It has been a year since the victims of Alfheim Online were freed from their virtual prison, and more than a year since Sword Art Online was shut down. But now it has begun once again. A mysterious figure has been making appearances in the game Gun Gale Online, and other players drop dead in their wake. Kirito finds himself once again risking his life in the online world.

Tonight’s Episode:Death Gun

Kirito has again messed with Sinon’s assumptions, taking her unawares during the tournament only to stop her from sniping another player so he can watch their duel and see if one of them is Death Gun. But Death Gun instead turns out to have been doing the same as them, watching the match and waiting for it to finish. Now Kirito begs Sinon to fire, before Death Gun can kill his next victim.

Gunbuster

Takaya Noriko wants to follow in the footsteps of her father and travel the vastness of space, and she has enlisted in a mecha training academy to fulfill that dream. But there is more to the academy than just training skilled astronauts, there is an alien race out there with its sights set on Earth. Noriko and the other trainees will be fighting for the survival of the human race.

Tonight’s Episode:Daring! The Girl Genius Challenger!

The sight of Kazumi’s extreme workout regime was enough to get Noriko motivated and take her training seriously. Even the school bully, Kashihara, is forced to concede Noriko was the right pick after a sparring match results in her mech embedded in the ground. Even Kazumi is impressed by the level of improvement in her skills. And so, Noriko and Kazumi have been selected for the Machine Weapon Advance Assault Squadron and are on their way into space … the place where Noriko’s father lived, and died.

Psycho-Pass 2

Makishima Shougo is dead, and Akane Tsunemori still works for Public Security. With a new junior inspector and two new Enforcers she struggles to protect the public from the latent criminals in their midst, whilst hiding from them the horrible truth of the Sybil System. But a new menace walks the streets, a new threat that once again cannot be judged by Sybil. And this time they’re not just a lone psychopath, this time they’re recruiting.

Tonight’s Episode:The Creeping Unknown

Enforcer Yamatoya was executed by a mysterious assailant and Inspector Shisui of Division 2 taken hostage when the two of them pursued the bomber Kitazawa’s hologramatic hostage. Kitazawa is now in custody, thanks to Akane’s talent for on-the-spot counseling, but as far as the police can tell it was Inspector Shisui that executed Yamatoya. And she did so with the Sybil System’s approval. The only out of place clue is “WC?” written on the wall of the underpass where the murder took place.

Danganronpa

Hope’s Peak Private Academy is a famous boarding school, known as a place for students who are the best in their field. When the unremarkable Makoto Naegi wins a lottery to enter the school he and fourteen other new students find the horrible truth hidden within; Hope’s Peak is a prison, and the only way out is to kill one of the other inmates without getting caught.

Tonight’s Episode:Kill Free or Live Hard

Although the rooms in Hope’s Peak Academy are well furnished, thanks to the principal they come with restrictive rules and an assortment of potential murder weapons. If that weren’t bad enough Monobear appears in person to mock Naegi, the super-lucky high school student, for having the only room with a busted bathroom door. And also to remind him to lock his room. And that may actually have been good advice. A moment later Maizono is at his door with an unpleasant story, someone just tried to force their way into her room.
