Synopsis

Fairy Tail

Magic and mayhem in the nation of Fiore. The members of the infamous mage’s guild Fairy Tail spend their days sorting out problems for the residents of Magnolia and battling the odd apocalyptic demon or dark guild. Of course they don’t let little things like that get in the way of having fun.

Tonight’s Episode:Magic Ball” and “The Truly Evil Jiggle Butt Gang

Various sad news and misfortune has come to the Fairy Tail members that were missing for seven years, such as the recent death of Lucy’s father and the fact that Zeref is still running loose. But suffering misfortune doesn’t pay the bills, so it’s off to the Jobs board for Natsu and Happy. And they’ve found one already, a reward for capturing the fugitive Velveno. Lucy likes the look of the job too, so all three are off to the Magician’s Ball that Velveno is apparently going to gate-crash … once Natsu learns how to dance.

Barakamon

Seishuu Handa is a new rising star in the world of professional, artistic, calligraphy. But when his pride and temper land him in trouble, he finds himself cooling his heels on the quaint little island of Gotou. Seishuu quickly finds the island’s residents to be both infuriating and invigorating in equal measure. Especially the diminutive Naru Kotoishi.

Tonight’s Episode:Un ni Oegii (Going Swimming at the Beach)

Handa’s first big job on the island, painting the name on Miwa’s father’s boat, has been a success in spite of the stress and the ‘assistance’ of Naru and the other kids. But for now regular work stops, the Naruka Institute Exhibition is only a month away and Handa will be entering the competition. So of course there’s a new interruption. Naru’s grandfather has dropped by with food. But whilst the first taste is free, the second comes with strings attached. Naru, Tama and Miwa want calligraphy lessons.

Zankyou no Terror (Resonance of Terror)

Tokyo is under attack, from a pair of terrorists referring to themselves as ‘Sphinxes’. With a series of complicated riddles uploaded to the internet as the only warning of when and where each attack will take place the police scramble to protect the city. But there may be more to these terrorists than their appearance, or their dehumanizing names, suggest.

Tonight’s Episode:Highs and Lows

Five’s destructive methods are making it harder for her ISA handler to control the Japanese police, although Five knows all will be forgiven so long as she retrieves ‘the package’. And she may not be far from doing that as Lisa, feeling herself to be nothing but a burden, has fled the new hideout and fallen straight into Five’s hands. Meanwhile the indefinitely suspended Shibazaki is investigating the links between the real Sphinx’s targets. Specifically, the Rising Peace Academy foundation and a program for gifted children that, officially, never existed …

Zetsumetsu Kigu Sh?jo: Amazing Twins (Extinct Device Girl – Amazing Twins)

ISH (Incomprehensible Skill of Human beings) is the term used for people with supernatural powers. One such gifted individual is Amane Todoroki, a straightforward and somewhat air-headed girl who works as a stage magician with a tiny, and not overly successful, idol group called Nought. Amane’s ISH power is fairly weak, but her more powerful, although bodiless, twin sister Lilianne is willing to help out during her performances. But it seems their little show has caught the attention of someone bigger, someone with an interest in Amane’s displays … someone that experiments on ISH users.

Genshiken Nidaime (Genshiken Second Season)

The old guard have graduated and now only Ogiue, Ohno and Kuchiki remain. As a new year begins Genshiken is once again infused with new members, who bring with them their own quirks, tastes and personal baggage with which to befuddle, bemuse and entertain the rest of the club. The Society for the Study of Modern Visual Culture (Gendai Shikaku Bunka Kenkyukai, Gen Shi Ken) is back.

Tonight’s Episode:Waiting in the Clubroom” (Finale)

Even after sorting out his issues with Kasukabe and being told point blank not to do it, Madarame has quit his job. Leaving Hato worrying that he might stop coming to the club room. And now the other club members have come to confront Madarame, because Hato has stopped coming to the club room. He won’t even answer his phone. This calls for drastic measures … a club excursion!

No Game No Life

Siblings Sora and Shiro have spent their life in games, rejecting the complications of the real world in favour of virtual ones and gaining a phenomenal reputation for their unbeatable teamwork. But when they reply to a strange email they find themselves transported to a world where everything is decided by games. It’s time to put their skills to the ultimate test!

Tonight’s Episodes:Sky Walk” and “Blue Rose

The Blanks have now challenged the Eastern Federation, betting their Race Piece in the contest. If they lose, all of humanity is as good as dead, something the rest of humanity is rather unhappy about. But they have another challenge before that, one that has already shaken up the unbeatable team. Something has spirited away Sora, and now no one except Shiro remembers that he even existed …

Gokukoku no Brynhildr (Brynhildr in the Darkness)

As a young boy, Ryouta Murakami cost a dear friend her life. A mistake he has never forgiven himself for. To this day he seeks to verify his lost friend’s belief in the existence of aliens. But when a strange girl shows up at his school, a girl who bears an uncanny resemblance to his dead friend, Ryouta’s attention is pulled away from the stars to face the dark secrets this new girl brings with her.

Tonight’s Episode:Witch Hunt

The one surviving witch from the Valkyrie’s handlers managed to locate Ryouta and his friends before the Valkyrie, and almost immediately joined the little band of runaways. But now, in the midst of discovering that Kuroha is indeed Ryouta’s childhood friend and the girls deciding which one of them will live long enough to receive Kogorou’s replacement pills, Ichijiku and his pet psychopath have found them. But there is one last twist; subject 1107, the witch they have been hunting for all this time, is not Kuroha.
