MOVIE NIGHT – Tonight’s movie is “Magical Witch Sisters Yoyo and Nene”. Dress up as anime witches for free entry!
Be aware that the length of the movie means that we will need to shorten the Dinner Break.

Is the weather getting warm enough that we don’t need to rug up extra? But we would still appreciate it if you did bring extra warm bodies. They are so cute when they realise how wonderful JAFWA is.

Synopsis

Fairy Tail

Magic and mayhem in the nation of Fiore. The members of the infamous mage’s guild Fairy Tail spend their days sorting out problems for the residents of Magnolia and battling the odd apocalyptic demon or dark guild. Of course they don’t let little things like that get in the way of having fun.

Tonight’s Episode: “The Power of Life“

Ultear’s true goal, to have the power of Zeref all to herself, has been uncovered by Grey. And despite her boasts of how far superior she is to his skills, Fairy Tail’s Ice Wizard quickly knocks the shine off her egotism. Still, Ultear and Meldy have possession of the unconscious Zeref, so as Meldy attempts to flee with their prize, Gray orders Juvia to pursue her. Leaving him to fight the leader of the Seven Kin of Purgatory alone.

Gin no Saji, Season Two (Silver Spoon), Season Two

Life continues at Ooeno Agricultural School for city boy Hachiken. As the current crop of seniors prepare to move into the work force, more club responsibilities are passed on to the younger students. But in the midst of all the club activities, delicious food and good friends, Hachiken discovers that slaughtering animals might not be the only troubling aspect of farm life.

Tonight’s Episode: “The Last Milk“

Hachiken has finally learned the secret that Mikage and Komaba have been keeping from him. That the Komaba family debt involved Mikage’s family as well, and that getting to the finals (and going pro) this season was his last chance. And Hachiken has finally had enough of Mikage and Komaba both telling him not to get involved. Mikage tries again to keep him from getting involved, but this time Hachiken is having none of it. He may not know much about running a farm or dealing with bankruptcy, but he doesn’t want to stop learning, and helping, his friends.

Log Horizon

Elder Tale is an MMO with over twenty million players world wide. When a new expansion is added to the game, Shiro and his friends find themselvers amongst the several hundred thousand players across the world that are now literally trapped inside the game.

Tonight’s Episode: “Swallow and Young Starling“

Upon visiting Regan, Shiroe learned that Sage already knew of his new spell and that the adventurer city of Minami may have experienced a similar momentous event. The bulk of Akihabara, meanwhile, continues to mistrust and dislike Shiroe, much to Minori’s dislike. The person they do like is Princess Lenisia, who is now Maihama’s formal ambassador to Akihabara. Just in time for Marie’s Libra festival. Whilst Akatsuki is finding herself struggling to take her relationship with Shiroe further. Perhaps a date at the newly opened cake store? As long as no one beats her to it…

Soul Eater Not!

DWMA (Death Weapon Meister Academy) is the place to go if you find that you are able the change into a weapon and need to master your new-found ability. Which is how Harudori Tsugumi finds herself in the United States, as part of the new class of students at the academy. Here she will learn to control her power and team up with one of the meisters (Students training to wield Death Weapons). However, she can’t quite make her mind up about which one to team up with.

Tonight’s Episode: “The Nightmare Begins“

Halloween is right around the corner. The pumpkins are ready, the costumes are ready. Everything looks to be going great until Tsugumi gets a letter from her mother. The family dog was in an accident … and isn’t going to recover. Tsugumi takes the news badly, and Anya isn’t able to cheer her up. Her misery also exacerbates other problems between the three of them.

Movie – Majokko shimai no Yoyo to Nene (Magical Sisters Yoyo and Nene)

Yoyo and Nene are Noroiya, witches for hire, helping out the people of their local area with magical problems. But when a massive tree full of buildings (including skyscrapers) rises up alongside their office, investigating the cause gets one of the sisters teleported to another world …

Sidonia no Kishi (Knights of Sidonia)

A thousand years after mankind fled Earth, Sidonia is a vast colony ship traversing deep space. The people within, genetically altered to contend with the harsh demands of space travel and Sidonia’s limited resources, live under a military dictatorship. Nagate Tanikaze however knows almost none of this, he has spent his life in the service tunnels of the ship, training in mecha combat simulators. When he is finally found by the rest of the Sidonia’s population, Tanikaze finds himself inducted into their military to help defend the colony ship against monstrous beings known as Gauna.

Tonight’s Episode: “Resolve“

Promoted to fully fledged Gardes pilot alongside Kunato, Hoshijiro and one of the Honoka sisters, Tanikaze is sent out on yet another sortie. But this time he awakens in the hospital to angry looks and few friends … The engagement was with a Hive-Type Gauna nearly a kilometre in length and filled with smaller soldiers. Tanikaze and the rest of Kunato’s squad was given the task of severing the monster’s tail, in order to weaken it.

Gokukoku no Brynhildr (Brynhildr in the Darkness)

As a young boy, Ryouta Murakami cost a dear friend her life. A mistake he has never forgiven himself for. To this day he seeks to verify his lost friend’s belief in the existence of aliens. But when a strange girl shows up at his school, a girl who bears an uncanny resemblance to his dead friend, Ryouta’s attention is pulled away from the stars to face the dark secrets this new girl brings with her.

Tonight’s Episode: “Stargazing“

Despite losing the memory of Kuroha’s true identity as his lost childhood friend, Ryouta and Kuroha managed to escape Saori, who was killed remotely for her failure, and acquire some of the life-saving pills Kuroha and Kana needed. However the lab has a new plan for disposing of their escapee witches, a new undercover witch, loyal to the lab, has arrived and joined the Astronomy club. For Ryouta, however, the extra member means there are now enough to be an actual club and do some genuine stargazing.

Kill la Kill

Ryuko Matoi is a girl on a mission; to find the person responsible for her father’s death. Her search has led her to Honnouji Academy, a brutal, totalitarian school where the student council, led by Satsuki Kiryuin and empowered by their Ultima Uniforms, rule over everyone else. Ryuko quickly finds herself at odds with Satsuki’s dictatorship, but aid comes to Ryuko both from unexpected allies within the school … and a set of skimpy talking clothes.

Tonight’s Episode: “Far From the Maddening Crowds“

The Four Devas and the remnants of Nudist Beach have carried on a seemingly hopeless guerrilla war against Ragyou. But finally they have a weapon that will extract the human from a COVERS suit, thus rescuing allies and eliminating enemies at the same time. But now Ragyou’s forces have reached their base, not to destroy Nudist Beach but to drag Ryuuko out of her month-long coma, and it is a bitter and resentful Ryuuko who awakens. She cares for nothing except destroying her mother and Nui. And she will not even look at Senketsu…
