Synopsis

Gin no Saji, Season Two (Silver Spoon), Season Two

Life continues at Ooeno Agricultural School for city boy Hachiken. As the current crop of seniors prepare to move into the work force, more club responsibilities are passed on to the younger students. But in the midst of all the club activities, delicious food and good friends, Hachiken discovers that slaughtering animals might not be the only troubling aspect of farm life.

Tonight’s Episode:Hachiken has his Hands Full

There’s two weeks until the Ezonoo Festival and Hachiken finds himself in charge of the budget for his class’ stall. But there’s also the show-jumping demonstration that the horse riding club plans to put on. Although the retired seniors are willing to help out, the club also wants to do a demonstration of Ban’ei racing. Much to Hachiken’s surprise the teachers are OK with this. A quick call to Mikage’s uncle and they have sleds for the horses to pull, but he is not convinced Mikage is ready to lead a horse in a Ban’ei race…

Soul Eater Not!

DWMA (Death Weapon Meister Academy) is the place to go if you find that you are able the change into a weapon and need to master your newfound ability. Which is how Harudori Tsugumi finds herself in the United States, as part of the new class of students at the academy. Here she will learn to control her power and team up with one of the meisters (Students training to wield Death Weapons). However, she can’t quite make her mind up about which one to team up with.

Tonight’s Episode:This is a Real Fight

Liz and Patty once had a better life, a rich and luxurious life. But that was long ago. At the Deathbucks café Tsugumi finds herself regretting introducing Meme and Anya to a TV drama, as the two have now taken to impersonating the gangsta talk of the characters from the show. However, their bad impersonations get interrupted by a real life tough talker, because Liz and Patty now work at the café as well.

Log Horizon

Elder Tale is an MMO with over twenty million players world wide. When a new expansion is added to the game, Shiro and his friends find themselvers amongst the several hundred thousand players across the world that are now literally trapped inside the game.

Tonight’s Episode:Expeditionary Force

Minori’s party have so far managed to protect the city of Choushi through targeted strikes to disperse the goblin forces. Princess Lenissia, aware that her own home city of Maihama is at risk, is able to do what the noblemen could not; swallow her pride and ask the adventurer’s for help. This wins her a griffon ride back to Akihabara to plead her case directly. Once there Crusty goes to attend to his own guild, leaving the princess in the care of Shiroe. And his first destination is Karashin’s guild, to find a better outfit for the princess to wear whilst addressing the adventurers of Akihabara.

Movie – Hal

When a plane crash kills Kurumi’s boyfriend Hal, a robot is reprogrammed to replace him in order to assist Kurumi in getting on with her life. For the new “Hal”, becoming a person means struggling to understand the real Hal’s past, to understand Kurumi’s feelings towards Hal, and figure out just what it means to be alive.

Samurai Flamenco

He started as an enthusiastic amateur, grew into a trained hero with high tech gadgets, and now he leads a team of heroes backed by a giant robot. Hazama Masayoshi’s childhood dream of becoming the hero Samurai Flamenco has been fulfilled and then some. Of course, to be a hero you need villains to fight. But there seems to be no shortage of candidates lining up for that role …

Tonight’s Episode:Imitation Justice

Just when the Flamengers needed help the most Kaname reappeared with all of Japan’s superheros to even the odds. But in the midst of battle, as their giant drill was nearing the magma beneath Mt Fuji, From Beyond called out Hazama for a face to face meeting with … himself? Hazama demands his surrender and the deactivation of the drill but this “Beyond Flamenco” cannot comply. He is merely an “interface” not the group’s leader, nor does he know why they are doing this. World domination would be impossible for a group their size. But so too, in his opinion, is world peace.

Witch Craft Works

Takamiya Honoka’s life used to be completely normal. That is until the day he was attacked by a Witch of the Tower and learned that Kagari Ayaka, the most popular girl in school, is secretly his personal bodyguard and a witch herself. Now Takamiya must contend with a growing procession of eccentric magic users out to either kidnap or kill him, all whilst trying to figure out why anyone is interested in him in the first place.

Tonight’s Episode:Takamiya and his Mean Little Sister

Takamiya and Kagari have had an intense first meeting with Chronoire Shwartz VI, where Takamiya learned the limits of Kagari’s seemingly limitless power (in truth borrowed from the world-threatening force sealed within him). And Chronoire has not yet finished meddling, as she stops in at one of Kuraishi’s strategy meetings to offer some advice on beating Kagari. But new problems are brewing away from the city. The legendary Medusa, chained and sealed within a monolith deep underground and guarded day and night, has begun to break free…

Genshiken Nidaime

The old guard have graduated and now only Ogiue, Ohno and Kuchiki remain. As a new year begins Genshiken is once again infused with new members, who bring with them their own quirks, tastes and personal baggage with which to befuddle, bemuse and entertain the rest of the club. The Society for the Study of Modern Visual Culture (Gendai Shikaku Bunka Kenkyukai, Gen Shi Ken) is back.

Tonight’s Episode:Daydream Believer

Madarame, once the president of Genshiken and self-proclaimed lifelong Otaku, is now an everyday salaryman. Returning home from work he notices that Hato cleaned his apartment after using it to get changed. Even the books and games are packed away, a fact that makes Madarame panic and reach for a hidden folder behind his desk. The next day Madarame stops in at the Genshiken clubroom and reminisces about his time in the club, and the club member that changed everything. In the middle of his reminiscing the door opens …

Sidonia no Kishi (Knights of Sidonia)

A thousand years after mankind fled Earth, Sidonia is a vast colony ship traversing deep space. The people within, genetically altered to contend with the harsh demands of space travel and Sidonia’s limited resources, live under a military dictatorship. Nagate Tanikaze however knows almost none of this, he has spent his life in the service tunnels of the ship, training in mecha combat simulators. When he is finally found by the rest of the Sidonia’s population, Tanikaze finds himself inducted into their military to help defend the colony ship against monstrous beings known as Gauna.

Tonight’s Episode:Glory

Tanikaze’s stunning, if unsuccessful, assault on the Gauna has earned him some attention from the Gardes squad assigned to eliminate the monster. For Tanikaze, however, the memory of the incident has caused him more trouble than the injuries he sustained. Still, squad leader Akai sought him out at the academy, which makes it another instance where Tanikaze has inadvertently infuriated the academy’s former star rookie Kunato. However Tanikaze will not be in the Gardes competition at the Gravity Festival, there Kunato can reclaim his lost glory.

Kill la Kill

Ryuko Matoi is a girl on a mission; to find the person responsible for her father’s death. Her search has led her to Honnouji Academy, a brutal, totalitarian school where the student council, led by Satsuki Kiryuin and empowered by their Ultima Uniforms, rule over everyone else. Ryuko quickly finds herself at odds with Satsuki’s dictatorship, but aid comes to Ryuko both from unexpected allies within the school … and a set of skimpy talking clothes.

Tonight’s Episode:The Girl Can’t Help It

The Battlefield Trip has ended. Although Ryuuko was able to recombine Senketsu and fight Satsuki to a standstill, Honnouji Academy still triumphed over its opposing schools and the Four Devas, mainly Nonon, destroyed Nudist Beach’s hidden base. The troops are returning to Honnouji Academy, although Mako has remained behind with Ryuuko and the remnants of Nudist Beach. Satsuki departs dramatically by private helicopter, although once the doors fully close she sinks to one knee. It seems that using Junketsu to battle Ryuuko is taking a far greater toll than she lets on.
