Synopsis

Kiniro (Golden) Mosaic

Shinobu Omiya once stayed in England, where she met and befriended Alice Cartelet. Years later when Shinobu is in high school, Alice comes to Japan as an exchange student and the two renew their friendship.

Tonight’s Episode:Even If I’m Small

It’s only been a few weeks since she arrived but Alice is quickly getting used to living in Japan. Whilst staying with Shinobu she has seen other foreigners in the area and the people she meets are all polite and friendly, although she is still nervous and shy around most strangers. She has also been introduced to Shinobu’s sister and her friends Komichi Aya and Inokuma Yoko … and their various eccentricities.

Fairy Tail

Magic and mayhem in the nation of Fiore. The members of the infamous mage’s guild Fairy Tail spend their days sorting out problems for the residents of Magnolia and battling the odd apocalyptic demon or dark guild. Of course they don’t let little things like that get in the way of having fun.

Tonight’s Episode:Black Wizard

The second test of the S-Class exam has begun; find the grave of Fairy Tail’s founder Mavis. But Elfman and Evergreen have had their progress interrupted by an encounter with the dark stranger of Tenroujima, and indeed only survived his uncontrolled life sapping power by virtue of Natsu’s timely arrival. The stranger recognises Natsu, indeed had wanted to meet him, but Natsu has no recollection of him. And the stranger’s only comment is that Natsu is not yet strong enough to destroy him. Something that brings him to tears just before his power again lashes out uncontrollably.

Mondaijitachi ga Isekai Kara Kura Sou Desu Yo (Problem Children are Coming from Another World Aren’t They?)

Welcome to the world of Little Garden. A place full of magical beasts, mythical figures, and powerful inhabitants. Fame and fortune await the bold, for anything can be had if you are willing to gamble your power, or even your freedom, for it.

Tonight’s Episode:Seems Like a Crazy Loli Clad in Japanese Clothing?

Izayoi has won his first Gift Game, easily defeating a powerful water god, and turns his attention to questioning Black Rabbit. Asuka and Kasukabe meanwhile have had their conversation with Jin interrupted by Galdo Gasper, the leader of a rival community. All three now learn that Jin and Black Rabbit’s community went into decline several years ago when they were challenged and defeated by a Demon Lord. Those left, although nearly all children, have not yet given up hope but they need members who can win Games. Hence the invitations to Izayoi and the others.

Preview – Genshiken Nidaime

The old guard have graduated and now only Ogiue, Ohno and Kuchiki remain. As a new year begins Genshiken is once again infused with new members, who bring with them their own quirks, tastes and personal baggage with which to befuddle, bemuse and entertain the rest of the club. The Society for the Study of Modern Visual Culture (Gendai Shikaku Bunka Kenkyukai, Gen Shi Ken) is back.

Tonight’s Episode:The Other Side of the Path. The Promised Place

Genshiken’s recruitment total for the previous year was zero, and new club president Ogiue has some rules to lay down for the other remaining club members as a result. Much to the displeasure of Ohno and Kuchiki. Ohno also points out that they did get one new member, since her friend Susanna transferred to their university from America. Nonetheless, Ogiue has taken charge of the club’s recruitment stand out the front of the university as the new term begins, doing some live manga artwork to try and draw in prospective new recruits.

Log Horizon

Elder Tale is an MMO with over twenty million players world wide. When a new expansion is added to the game, Shiro and his friends find themselvers amongst the several hundred thousand players across the world that are now literally trapped inside the game.

Tonight’s Episode:The Battle of Loka

Trapped inside a game world and uncertain of their fate, most people had avoided taking any risks. But then an adventurer is killed outside Akihabara and, just as in the game, he revives inside the Cathedral. The news quickly spreads. Secure in the knowledge that death is not the end, Shiro and his companions continue to train outside the city, refining the skills they possess from their game-based classes and sub-classes. But the news that no one can permanently die has prompted other kinds of activity as well….

Gin no Sagi (Silver Spoon)

What’s it like to live and work on a farm? Get ready to find out. Join Yugo Hachiken, newly enrolled student at Oezo Agricultural High School, as he learns the details of modern agriculture and farm life from both his instructors and his fellow students.

Tonight’s Episode:Hachiken Rides a Horse

When he was still at Shin Sapporo High School, Hachiken avoided joining any of the student clubs, throwing out excuses like wanting to focus on his studies or not being any good at sports. At Oozeno, however, he has no choice; club participation is mandatory. Just like the many agricultural classes. His classmates ability to handle all this physical work continues to astound and impress, or at least just baffle, Hachiken. As does Tokiwa’s inability to learn mathematics. But none of this brings him any closer to choosing a club.

Samurai Flamenco

Hazama Masayoshi; male model by day, superhero by night. Or at least, that is the plan. With no super powers, no high tech gadgets, and no real training, enthusiasm is the only thing Hazama has to help him battle the drunk office workers and truant teenagers of Tokyo. Police officer Hidenori Goto becomes an unwilling accomplice to the exploits of ‘Samurai Flamenco’ and along the way they both learn what it truly means to be a hero of justice.

Tonight’s Episode:My Umbrella is Missing

Samurai Flamenco continues his late night patrols, but his strict enforcement of laws and regulations is not making him popular. Goto and his commanding officer are receiving more and more complaints about Hazama’s late night activities. On his way home Goto runs in to Hazama who invites him around for dinner, there Goto mentions the complaints the police have received while Hazama defends his activities. But before they can really argue Hazama’s manager, Ishihara, drops by unexpectedly.

Jormungand: Perfect Order

Child soldier Jonah continues his job as bodyguard to the eccentric arms dealer Koko Hekmatyar in this second season. Allies are threatened and enemies start to pile on as her plans for the mysterious “Jormungand” begin to take shape.

Tonight’s Episode:Dance with Undershaft: Phase 1

Koko has explained the organisation of the CIA to Jonah, focusing most of her dislike on the paramilitary operatives, or POO’s. Unbeknownst to Koko, one particular POO by the name of Hex is already on her trail, although acting on her own initiative rather than official orders. Koko, at the moment, is getting her team lost in Eastern Europe. Jonah and R step away from the others to admire the scenery and lament the area becoming a battlefield once again. The moment makes R remember when he was first scouted by the CIA, before he went undercover as part of Koko’s team.

Preview – Yozakura Quartet: Hana no Uta

Akina, Hime, Ao and Kotoha run the Hiizume Life Counseling Office, providing help and protection to the people of Sakura Newtown. Which is unique in all of Japan because here humans and youkai live side by side, in the shadow of the seven giant sakura tree pillars that surround the district and bind the human and demon worlds together. But the four teenagers, and their friends, may soon have to fight to protect the tranquility of their home, as not everyone appreciates this cosy coexistence of human and demon.

Tonight’s Preview Episode:Cherry Blossoms Bloom

It is festival time in Sakura Newtown, and a young blonde-haired girl has entered the city alone. As she wanders the streets and then peruses the stalls of the festival she is greeted by Kotoha and Touka.
