Synopsis

Kamisama Hajimemashita (Kamisama Kiss)

After her father runs away to escape his gambling debts and she is evicted
from their meagre apartment, Nanami Momozono finds a sudden change in her
fortune after rescuing a stranger from a dog. She is rewarded by being made the
diety of the local shrine, gaining a home, two cheerful servants and one very
snarky fox spirit.

Tonight’s Episode: “The God Makes a Match”

Nanami is in the courtyard of the temple, trying to improve her abilities as
a diety by getting the local cherry blossoms to bloom, when a white sparrow
with a courtier’s hat lands in front of her. It is a messenger of the princess
Himemiko and announces her intention to pay a visit to the shrine and its new
diety that evening. Tomoe has other ideas, he will be handling the formal visit
and Nanami will stay completely out of site. The relationship with princess
Himemiko is too delicate to risk with an inexperienced high school girl.

Preview Item: Sukitte Ii na yo (Say “I Love You”)

After a painful incident in primary school, Tachibana Mei has kept her
distance from everyone else at school to avoid being hurt by them. But when
popular boy Kurosawa Yamato takes an interest in her, she slowly begins to
learn that not all friendships end with betrayal.

Tonight’s Episode: “The First Story, ‘First Kiss’”

Tachibana Mei dreams of her time in primary school, when the class’s pet
rabbit died and she was blamed for it by two other girls. That unpleasant
memory is followed by a shower and breakfast. Then, with her Ipod at the ready,
Mei sets off for school. Music and a set of earphones provide a shield against
the rest of her class. Meanwhile, Kurosawa Yamato, the most popular boy in
school, is getting berated by his friend for both stealing the attention of all
the girls and yet being so oblivious to their interest in him. For Kurosawa,
none of them really stand out …

Fairy Tail

Magic and mayhem in the world of Fiore. The members of the infamous mage’s
guild Fairy Tail spend their days sorting out problems for the residents of
Magnolia and battling the odd apocalyptic demon or dark guild. Of course they
don’t let little things like that get in the way of having fun.

Tonight’s Episode: “Earthland”

Gajeel is out wandering the town, in a desperate search for that special
something missing from his life. The rest of the guild is its usual
rambunctious self, but Carla seems to be more abrasive towards Happy than
normal, eventually storming out of the guild hall. As Wendy comes looking for
her, and the weather turns foul, the two newest members of Fairy Tail finally
meet with the guild’s most enigmatic member, Mystogan. And it seems their
timing could not have been worse …

Hanasaku Iroha

After Ohana’s mother and boyfriend run away to escape debtors, leaving her
behind, she moves into Kissuiso, the inn run by her grandmother Sui. Here she
discovers a world very different to the one she grew up in as the learns the
ins and outs of working at an inn and comes to know the people she now lives
and works alongside.

Tonight’s Episode: “This is My Way of Life”

A school trip to the beach! Sun, surf, swimsuits! Except Minko Isn’t wearing
hers.”Fear of sunburn” she says, “only wants Tohru to see it” Ohana says. Yuina
however is brooking no excuses and between the two of them she and Ohana will
get Minko into the water. When not at the beach Ohana and her classmates will
be staying at a local inn, and Ohana intends to learn as much from the staff as
she can.This may be easier than she thought as Yuina seems to know at least one
member of staff quite well.

Uchyuu Kyoudai (Space Brothers)

As kids Muta and Hibito Nanba made a promise, that they would both become
astronauts. 19 years later Hibito is on the verge of fulfilling that promise
but Muta is not doing nearly so well, that is until he is accepted into the
astronaut training program.

Tonight’s Episode: “The Man with the Advantage and the Running Female Doctor”

Having passed the written test, Mutta now heads to the Japan Aerospace
Exploration Agency for something even more daunting. The physical tests. An
examination of every aspect of his health and fitness. A very … thorough …
examination. And unfortunately one where he will be measured against the health
and fitness of the other, younger and fitter, applicants.

Sword Art Online

VR technology has made full-immersion video games possible, and the latest
and greatest is Sword Art Online. But the players who logged in on the first
day find that logging back out may be a lot harder, and the challenges of the
game more than they bargained for.

Tonight’s Episode: “The Red-Nosed Reindeer”

In an inn on the 11th floor Kirito is being toasted by the Moonlit Black
Cats, a guild that he saved from being wiped out. After some light banter they
offer him a spot in their guild and after a moment’s hesitation Kirito accepts,
to everyones’ delight. Sometime later the Moonlit Black Cats and their newest
member are battling with a monster up on the 20th floor, the group succeeds at
slaying the monster and one member gains a level. Relaxing after their victory,
Kirito and Keita discuss the successes of the top tier guilds and what
separates them from the Moonlit Black Cats.

Girls und Panzer

The students of Ooarai Girl’s High School are showing their skill at
Sensha-do (tank martial arts). With new transfer student and former Sensha-do
practicioner Miho Nishizumi to lead the way, they will pit themselves against
the best from other schools around the country.

Tonight’s Episode: “Fighting a Match”

With their tank in full speed retreat, dodging shots from the other teams,
Miho spots someone lying in the grass up ahead seemingly asleep. A shouted
warning gives her time to leap up onto the tank at which point Miho recognises
the girl she helped get to school earlier. Turns out she is an old friend of
Saori’s. The crew, and their unexpected guest, are still being shot at by the
other tanks. They need to do something to turn the situation around …

Shin Sekai Yori (From the New World)

A thousand years into the future all mankind possesses psychic powers, and
the people live in idyllic splendor. But the path that led to this tranquil
life was not so perfect, and the world that Saki and her friends live in may
not be as genrtle and pleasant as it seems.

Tonight’s Episode: “False Minoshiro”

An opulent palace surrounded by water. It is five hundred and seventy years
since the first psychic incident, and a team of assasins makes their move under
cover of darkness. Explosions and fire begin to consume the palace. The emperor
is located. A headlong rush … and the deed is done. Four hundred and thirty
years after that, Saki and her friends are just beginning their excursion
outside the holy barrier,travelling upriver via canoe. There is much to see and
discover, plus stories to scare each other with. Like the False Minoshiro, that
brings death to all that see it …

Mawaru Penguindrum

Miracles! Mystery! Penguins! After a hat they purchased at the aquarium
brings their terminally ill sister Himari back to life, Shouma and Kanba
Takakura find the hat has a mind of its own and uses their sister’s body to
command them to seek out the “Penguin Drum” with the assistance of three
helper penguins… that no one else can see.

Tonight’s Episode: “Immortal Man”

Masako receives a surprise when she tries to rejoin the two halves of the
diary, realizing that the one she took from Yuri was fake. New plans must be
formulated, but in the meantime there is her company, Nakamura Holdings, to be
run. The company Masako inherited from her overbearing grandfather Sahei.
Meanwhile Kanba has gone to visit Himari in hospital, the good news is she is
now well enough to leave her room, the bad news is she did so to have a
friendly chat with Sanetoshi.

Toaru Majutsu no Index II (A Certain Magical Index II)

Life continues to be anything but dull for Index, the girl with over a
hundred forbidden grimoires sealed away inside her mind and Touma, her de-facto
guardian and the young man with the power to dispel any effect he touches with
his left hand. As rogue magicians, dangerous psychics and religious fanatics
all decide to make Academy City their personal battleground, Index and Touma
must strive to protect their friends and their home. Such misfortune!

Tonight’s Episode: “Researcher Kihara Amata”

Sasha, the young woman who had her body play host to the Archangel Gabriel,
reads through an old tome explaining the nature of divine visitations. Her
guardian teases and taunts her about the experience. Meanwhile back in Academy
City, Accelarator and Last Order, the mini Misaka clone, have been reunited and
are making their way home through a light shower of rain. Accelarator stops to
reflect on his relationship with Last Order as the little clone dances about in
the rain. But before they can make it home, he is going to have a run-in with
an old acquaintance.
