No JAFWA on March 3rd
Find some other way to enjoy Life on the weekend of the 3rd. WestLodge is running on the Saturday afternoon.

The tentative JAFWA program for Saturday 10th March 2012 is below. To be held in the Collins Street Community Center on Collins Street just off Canning Highway in South Perth.

Things of Note:
1) St Valentine’s Day was February 14. White Day is March 14, when men lucky enough to have received chocolate, be it honmyo or giri are obligated to reciprocate with a gift of white, usually chocolate. This year I need only reciprocate a couple of gifts.

Dale’s Suggestive Remarks, based on suggestion sheets handed in at JAFWA:
An unsigned suggestion from 11/02/2012

After Chi’s Sweet Home you should play Poyopoyo which is airing this season. It’s cute, about a cat and the episodes are 2:30 minutes each.

Interesting. Good to see all positive feedback.

The first episode of “Mouretsu Pirates” that was previewed at JAFWA was gorgeously animated, and the visuals really did make it seem like a futuristic society. I am undecided whether the actual plot is sufficiently worthy, but I personally hope to also see more of this series at JAFWA. Hmm,… we will need something when Nuku Nuku finishes in March.

The second season of “Nodame Cantabile”, known as the Paris Chapter seems to be continuing the excellence of the first season, though I am beginning to think the lack of the original supporting characters may be beginning to show. What exactly is the relationship between Chiaki and Noda Megumi? I am not quite certain they are playing the same composition.

And “No. 6” continues to intrigue. Need to see more to say more.

An unsigned JAFWA feedback form received on 18/02/2012

+Mouretsu Pirates
+Nodame Cantabile Paris chapter
+No. 6

Thank you Thank you Thank you!
We have been desperately searching for a replacement for Chi for a while now, with people suggesting the same things time and time again. There are only 11 episodes of “Nyanpire” after all.
Finally a new suggestion. I shall get my, um, sources onto acquiring samples.

But one notices an odd situation. Why cats? All these short shows, Chi, Nyanpire and now Poyopoyo all feature cats. Is this some grassroots world conquest attempt by our Feline overlords? At 2 1/2 minutes it does suggest their attention span.
