Saturday 19th March, 2011

The tentative JAFWA program for Saturday 19th March 2011 is below. To be held in the Collins Street Community Center on Collins Street just off Canning Highway in South Perth.

Things of Note:
1) 1) JAFWA elections coming in June! In order to be eligible to run for election, you will need to be a fully paid up finacial member from this month, March.
2) We reach the end of the current story arc of “Fairy Tail” tonight, so we will take a small hiatus afterwards.
3) People voted 23 to 2 in favour of making “Gosick” a regular program item at JAFWA.
4) Movie Night! Tonight’s movie is “Bungaku Shoujo”, which translates as “Literature Girl”. This centers around Konoha Inoue, one of two members of his high school’s literature club, which he joined shortly after entering high school, though the story begins when Konoha is already in his second-year of high school. The other member and president of the club is Tohko Amano, a third-year girl who loves literature. Tohko is a y?kai who can only eat stories by consuming the paper they are printed on and Tohko often asks Konoha to write her short stories as “snacks”.
5) Don’t forget that the city of Melville is having a free screening of Totoro on Fri the 18th of March at 6pm.
